There could be many causes. What happens when you try to use it. also try adding it again.

Have they called you back? Ah, but the key word is "require" - leaving hm some wiggle room. Apple could start selling their own styli and claim that it's different from a Tablet PC because the latter require a stylus and the iPad just "can" use one. :-)

I recently upgraded to Fios Quantum and have a new ActionTech router. As a result my PC is no longer communicating with my APPLE TV.It must have a firewall or ports beegin blocked preventing the homesharing and communication even though the APPLE TV is on

I recently upgraded to Verizon Fios Quantum high speed internet and was given an ActionTec router. I sucessfully installed all and connected wth my Apple TV. Although it worked initially it no longer does. Something appears to be blocking the Homesharing between my PC and the AppleTV even though the Apple TV is successfully connected to my home network. I spoke with an Apple Support Tech who was unable to help me becuase I have a PC! He admitted this is a common problem with FIOS and PCS. There must be a port that needs to be opened in the router. I do not beleive it is anything to do with my antivirus software or Windows Defender as i uninstalled all and still not communication. Must be a port within the routter that is blocking tis communication. On my Itunes you can see that it does not see the Apple TV. Please advise.

I'd have to agree. I set my vms and two clients on Saturday in one hour. I think the picture is better I did not see an issue with the brightness. For the heck of it I recorded five channels at once to test it. I've also noticed when playing a recorded show on the client everything responds a lot quicker. So I am impressed and curious to see what new features come later.

I recently bought a New computer. and I downloaded my itunes account to it. but it didn't add songs that I put in my iTunes by way of my own cd disc. only the songs that I purchased through itunes. any ideas.

Trying to add my iTunes to New computer. But it only transferred songs to new computer that I purchased. It didn't transfer songs I added on my old computer ituned with my own cd discs

I've installed firmware for my zen micro, now i can't use my creative software! Please he

I wanted to download some music from napster and to play it on my player it told me I needed a firmware upgrade. I knew from buying my player that I probably would need to upgrade so I did. Once I installed the upgrade, and plugged my zen micro in and now it will only let me use windows media player? to transfer my music to my player. I hate this software as it doesn't work brilliantly, I was really happy with the creative software, but now when I plug in my micro and open the creative software it won't recognise it. I've tried reinstalling the creative software but its made no difference. Also, a box keeps coming up with something called MTP what is this? Can anyone help me with this problem? I would really appreciate it!

MTP is microsoft's media transfer protocol. Essentially, your micro can now connect to WinXP SP2 computers with WMP0 without loading Creative drivers.
The new firmware you installed allows you to drag and drop files to your micro using windows explorer. In order to use any of Creative's software, you'll need to download and install updated versions from their website.

Recently upgraded to snow lion and my macbook won't accept my garmin device. Wasn't a problem prior to software installation. Garmin works on other computer so it isn't the Garmin or usb connection.

snow lion is not allowing my garmin to remain connected. Keeps kicking it out (turning it on and off) and gives me a message indicating device was improperly ejected and to properly eject it and it will try and fix. Nothing gets fixed....just keeps turning on and off. The Garmin isn't the issue....works on the other computer along with the USB. Wasn't a problem until Lion. Any suggestions.

perating system is now snow lion. Garmin model is Edge 705. the 705 works on another computer but keeps turning on and off and the device appearance in finder appears then disappears. I keep getting the message the disk did not properly eject but I properly eject it every time including when device appears intermittently in finder.

If you aren't receiving password reset emails and your security questions don't work, someone has hijacked your account.
This happened to me.
You need to use Expresslane to contact iTunes support to regain access to your account ASAP.

It sounds as if you are trying to set up family sharing starting with an Apple ID which someone has already used to start a family group. Presumably this person is within the family group you want to share with. One solution to this issue would be to ask to join this family group. See this article -

If this is not the desired result, you will need to set up your own family group using an unused Apple ID that is in use for iCloud. See this article -

I have my kids using iTunes via thier ipods etc through my own account and this hase been the case for some time?
This has started to cause issues lately with imessaging and facetime, as there seems to be a limit on email addresses that can be associated with one account?
I wonder if I would be best off setting the kids up with their own accounts, but want to be able to do this without them losing their existing apps, music etc?
Is this possible, if so is there a simple process cos I can seem to find anything relating to this?

Not going to happen the way you want it to.
When you add a gift card balance to the Apple ID, it's available for the Apple ID.
Probably best to create unique Apple ID's for each... this will also make things easier in the future as purchases are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.
