I have just received a new iphone 5s and need to set the Apple ID with my work email. I used my work email on my personal iphone 4s to set up an icloud account and it will not let me use this email as the Apple ID on my new iphone. As it is a work phone I need to use this email address as my Apple ID. How do I do this?
when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Go to the 'Go' menu in the Finder and hold down the option key to reveal the Library. Then navigate to library > preferences > system configuration and drag the 'Networkinterfaces.plist' file to the trash and restart for mac. Now try again. -
I have tried to changed my Apple ID and every time I try to use the new Apple ID it won't let me because when i try to update an app the old ID comes up to sign in. I deleted that account so it will not let me use my new one.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID. -
I have another account that i can't delete off my phone because lost my recovery key and password. How do i get rid of this account? it will not let me turn off find my iphone and delete account. Can anyone help?

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

Can't use my Comcast/Xfinity email on mozilla any more have to use google chrome to access it. I can log on through comcast/xfinity homepage but it will not let me read my email, just keeps redirecting me to inbox preview. I used to have no problem before firefox 7. Can this be corrected? Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!!! I have been arguing with Comcast for 6 months on this. They told me to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. Then I found this website and there was my solution. It worked. It was annoying that they told me to use internet explorer. The worst part is I pay them monthly. Well, as soon as my contract is up, I am done with Comcast. They still haven't figured out why my favorite stations aren't coming in. Funny thing is my roommate has Direct t.v. with no problems. At half the price. See ya Comcast. I am done paying for shabby over priced service. Thank you Firefox. I can't believe I pay for crappy service and this is free.

I recently changed my email address and the app store will not let me use my new email. I have my apple id under my new email address. Any Suggestions?
1. Sign out of Apple ID (Settings>iTunes and App Store>Apple ID)

yes, the software is on your Mac but it isnt licenced or owned by you so the digital rights management system Apple employs is blocking the application from being used. Its to stop illegal distribution of downloaded software.
my only suggestion is to phone Apple and see if they can transfer ownership -
My ipod will not let me use all but like 3 apps fully without closing me out of the app and i can only use safari or the app store for about 10 seconds without it shutting down the app. This has been happening for about 6 months after the upgrade to ios 4. Okay, so i know that this has probably been asked before, but every similar question i read was a little different from my specific problem. Maybe someone on here can help me. :)) *crosses fingers*
I've had my iPod Touch since summer, and I just got a new laptop for Christmas. So I want to transfer my iTunes over to my new computer, of course. I read the tutorial on Apple Support, but when I went to drag my Library over to my iPod, it was showing up in My Computer as a camera, and will not let me use it as disk space. I've also followed the steps to stop the automatic Camera pop-up when I plug in my iPod. Yes, my iPod is set up on manual, so disk use SHOULD be enabled, correct? I am positive that I also have the latest iTunes software. AND my USB ports are up to date.
Sorry for the overly-thorough problem description, but I have read too many of the similar posts, and I know all the usual suggestions. But seriously, any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Sorry to say that you cannot use an iPod Touch as an "external" drive, unlike the "Classic" etc. which I believe have this feature.
To transfer your library you will have to back it up to disc(s), a different type of HD or use a network to send the files over.

I have the 1st generation ipod touch i installed an update which now it is 3.1.3 version i was able to put my apps on it but when i want to use the apps it will not let me use them. What do i need to do?
Does it happen with the apps that came with the iPod?
Does it happen with all apps you have downloaded/installed?
Have you ried deleting the apps and redownload/install the apps? You will not be charged again if you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.
Next would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod. -
