I was setting up the new IOS and came to the point where I needed my Apple ID and password. I had to go and change it before proceeding, now I can't get back to the setup. Can you tell me how to go back and finish the setup?

Settings > Store > Sign Out.
Sign in with the correct ID.

Yes, IF you picked the right partition, as in the Boot Camp partition. If everything is done right you should be able to boot into the Mac side.
If you already booted into Windows and are at the point of installing the Boot Camp Drivers your already done installing Windows! Yea! All you need to do is just install the drivers and everything should work normal.
The Windows partition and the Mac partition are seen as two different HD's now as far as the computer knows.
You can use the Boot Camp control panel in Windows to boot into the Mac side and the Startup Disk in System Preferences on the Mac to switch to Windows. If you can't then press and hold down the Option key untill you get the boot screen.

- Is the computer authorized for the iTunes account(s) used on the iPod?
- Are you syncing or manually managing music?
- In iTunes if you go to Preferences and then go to the Devices tab, what date is show for the iPod backup? Is if before you switched computers?
- Your iPod sees the new computer as a new library/computer and you can only sync to one library. You need to restore you iPod from a backup. If that bacup is hosw in Preferences, restore from that backup.
- If the backup is after you switched computers, you have two options:
--- Try to make a backup by right clicking on the iPd under Devices in iTunes and selecting backup.
--- If you can't make a backu, can you get one from the backup of your old computer. It is located here and yu may have to have show hidden files turned on.

HT204053 I started using iCloud on all my Apple products before MobileMe shut down, setting up a new ID and password to do that. When MobileMe moved to iCloud, it became my primary account for iCloud and is interfering with everything I had done before.

Apparently I shouldn't have done that, because when MobileMe moved to iCloud, it automatically became my primary account and took over everything I had previously set up on my iCloud account. I would like to eliminate the MobileMe account, but I can't find a way to do it. Anyone have any experience with this? It's making me very frustrated with iCloud.

The primary account is the one signed into in System Preferences>iCloud (or on an iPhone Settings>iCloud). If it isn't the account you want to use, simply sign out and the sign back in with the required account. On signing out your data will be removed from your Mac but not from the iCloud server.
If you want to you can sign in with the other account in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars - you can sync that account's email, contacts and calendars and they will appear alongside the equivalent data in the primary account.
The main differences are that the secondary account's email will not be 'pushed' but will be checked periodically, and the secondary account cannot use PhotoStream.

Everything seems to be far more complicated than necessary. I have verified all the required steps iTunes has required to submit an alterantive email, now the security questions do not seem to matich up.......furstration!! Now how do I get those reset? I followed the alternative email steps, read the phrases that others submitted, yet again statements seem to be repeated and I am not looking to redo my ID or password, God forbid!

You will have to contact Apple about the non-working e-mail and forgotten password. It's kind of like going to the police and saying you know that red car in the corner of the parking lot is yours but you don't have the papers for it and you have lost the key to the door.

Hi maggieanntb, your sister's Apple ID came up because an app(s) was downloaded using her account. To prevent that from happening, you would have to delete the app(s) that were downloaded on her's, and re-download them using your own Apple ID.

So when you plug it into your computer, you're not getting a message in iTunes that it has discovered a phone in recovery mode?
Reboot both the computer and the phone and try again.

Go to Settings > Wifi, turn the Wi-Fi switch off then on again then select the network you want to join.

To assure that your first backup is over Ethernet I'd turn off AirPort until it's done. Check the order in the Network panel of System Preferences. I'd move the Ethernet connection item to the top of the list.

The way that Dropbox works is that it keeps a copy of all your files in your local Dropbox folder on your hard drive (which is, by default, directly under your home folder). Adding files to that folder will sync them to the Dropbox server.
You do of course have to download the Dropbox application to enable this (download link at the top right of http://dropbox.com ).
