HT5622 Ipad 3 version 6.1.3 will not let me use iMessage or FaceTime!

"Sign in with you Apple ID..." I do and I get a message that says "Could not sign in. Please check your network conn. and try again" I can use the safari app on my ipad and browse the internet. I am able to use iMessage and FaceTime on my Iphone 4 so I'm kind of confused. I don't know how to solve this issue. I've already tried the DNS thing, time-zone thing, restore, reboot, you name it, I tried it. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? The last message I received or sent out was on Aug. 28, 2013.. I'm not sure when it stopped working but I noticed this problem last week. HELP pleaseeee!

I will sign in with my correct username and password, then it will go to the screen where it will let me choose the email address i want to use. I click both of the available ones, and click next. it will verify for a few seconds, then jump back to the sign in screen. No error messages, just goes back. I made sure that my date and time is correct and automatic, and I have changed the DNS. I have reverted my Ipod to previous back ups, and completely reset the device and its settings 5 times.

Iphone 5 will not let me use iMessage

Hi, I just tried to activate the imessage with the iphone 5 but find when I try to use imessage it only lets me use message with the green bubble instead of imessage with the blue bubble.... I do not want to use data with other apple id users so what am I doing wrong....
settings>messages>imessage (on)>send as SMS (off)> send&receive (phone number)
Should I send and receive through email instead? or is there something else I am doing wrong? My phone is with verizon.... Thank you!

It finally just started working. I checked my settings again and restarted the phone and now seems to work. Sometimes you have to wait a few seconds for the server to recognize an apple id/or phone number to use for imessage. So wait a few seconds and see if the blue bubble emerges or remians green. I probably cannot be much help in any other regard.

You get all the new iWork suite (Pages 5, Numbers 3 & Keynote 6) free with your Mac purchase. You just need to go to the App Store and sign in with your Apple I.D.
We warn against relying on the new iWork Apps, they really are just public betas and we are getting a number of users here with unopenable files. Bad news if this is your Masters.
iWork '09 can be purchased as a Boxed DVD set from Amazon US$27, or online.
It is much more usable and safer (not totally).
LibreOffice [free] does not have as polished a UI but is actively supported, and uses open file formats as well as MsOffice formats. It also has the advantage of opening/saving virtually every known format on the planet (wish it would do Pages!) and has a usable but not briliant intgrated database.

Does it happen with the apps that came with the iPod?
Does it happen with all apps you have downloaded/installed?
Have you ried deleting the apps and redownload/install the apps? You will not be charged again if you are signed into the same iTunes account that originally purchased the apps.
Next would be to restore from backup
Last would be to restore to factory defaults/new iPod.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

It is simply asking you to verify your account info. Select None for the CC.
It will still pay with your gift card balance.

What you are saying does not make sense. You redeem a card once, that's it. It doesn't matter what device you are using, as long as it's using the same account, you will get the reminder of your store credits.

Okay, so i know that this has probably been asked before, but every similar question i read was a little different from my specific problem. Maybe someone on here can help me. :)) *crosses fingers*
I've had my iPod Touch since summer, and I just got a new laptop for Christmas. So I want to transfer my iTunes over to my new computer, of course. I read the tutorial on Apple Support, but when I went to drag my Library over to my iPod, it was showing up in My Computer as a camera, and will not let me use it as disk space. I've also followed the steps to stop the automatic Camera pop-up when I plug in my iPod. Yes, my iPod is set up on manual, so disk use SHOULD be enabled, correct? I am positive that I also have the latest iTunes software. AND my USB ports are up to date.
Sorry for the overly-thorough problem description, but I have read too many of the similar posts, and I know all the usual suggestions. But seriously, any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Sorry to say that you cannot use an iPod Touch as an "external" drive, unlike the "Classic" etc. which I believe have this feature.
To transfer your library you will have to back it up to disc(s), a different type of HD or use a network to send the files over.

Hi, I'm using the new Mac Pro
2.7 GHz 12-core Intel Xeon E5
64 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
AMD FirePro D700 6144 MB
OSX 10.9.2
I'm using After Effects 12.2.1.5
When I attempt to invoke the race trace 3D renderer in a comp, I get this error
"After Effects Error: Ray-traced 3D: Out of paged mapped memory for ray tracer. Your project may exceed GPU limits. Try closing other applications. Try updating the CUDA driver. (5070::2)"
My preferences are set to use the CPU for Raytraced 3D since I do not have an Nvidia card.
So, obviously there is an issue here in that it thinks I have an Nvidia card.
I know (or assume I know) the cause for this is that when I set up this machine, I used Apple's migration assistant to move most of my data over from the previous gen Mac Pro which DID have a CUDA card.
So my question is, what files can I delete/reset to cause After Effects to no longer look for CUDA files that do not exist on this machine?
I do not have the CUDA control panel in System Prefs, so THAT did not carry over.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks!

Ugh. That causes so many problems.
The first thing to try is deleting the CUDA frameworks from your Mac: Look in /Library/Frameworks for the CUDA.Framework and get rid of it.

For some reason this worked for me. I went into my account and changed my first name, maybe it causes itunes to reset. What ever it does my itunes works now.
