HT5622 Trying to get a training room set up with Apple ID's. Does Apple block an IP if they receive multiple requests for accounts?
We are training 63 new employees today. Trying to set up an Apple ID's and iTunes. All but 4 credit cards are being denied. Will Apple block an IP if they receive multiple requests from an IP within "x" minutues?

what ip address does the laptop get ?? ensure that the laptop is not set for a static ip add....and it gets an ip add from the router ..

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.
All of these are basic steps that could have been found by a simple search of the forums as a resolution for the issue. -

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Did you have the opportunity to update 12 to 12.1 Update yet using an opened project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so when you get the opportunity.

When I try entering a new event in iCal on my MacBook Air, I get an error message popping up on my screen that says:
The server responded with “502”
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
The server responded with “502” to operation CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation.
The request for account “iCloud” failed.
I am then given the option of staying Online or going Offline.
Can anyone help me?

You can make the iCloud calendar your default calendar for all new events. Close the Preferences window to save this change.
If recent changes simply don't appear, try forcing Calendar or iCal to refresh by selecting Refresh All from theCalendar menu.
Make sure your account was successfully created in Calendar on your Mac (or iCal). After upgrading to iCloud Calendar, you may need to quit and reopen Calendar (or iCal). To confirm your account is configured correctly in iCal:

If the iPhone has Activation Lock - that is, it's asking for the previous owner's Apple ID and password to activate the device - then you will need that information, or you'll need to get the previous owner to remove the device from his/her iCloud account:

If you can't reach the previous owner or he/she is unwilling to cooperate, then the device is unusable by you. If you recently purchased the iPhone, return it for a refund if you can.

Just got an iMac. I am trying to use Migration Assistant. The Mac side seems to be doing it's job, but my PC just keeps "Waiting for the Mac to connect." For over an hour.
Probably a PC issue, you can try calling AppleCare, you are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase and can find the phone number in the owners manual. Also please look over:

It would also be extremely helpful to those trying to help you if you complted your Profile so we at least know what iMac and version of OS X is installed. Click Your Stuff in the upper right then click Profile and complete the necessary fields including what part of the planet you're located. -
I'm trying to share a web page from safari by email but the recipient only sees a ? when they receive the email any suggestions why?
Ok.. see if emptying the Safari cache helps.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Select: Show Develop menu in menu bar
Now click Develop from the menu bar. From the drop down menu click Empty Caches.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try sharing a webpage. -

It is the ONLY account I get problems with DAILY (even after removing and re-adding). AOL will act up once in a while not taking a saved password but accepting it when OK is clicked.... Trying to get actual information on setting up WMS to use CAD.
We're trying to figure out how to set up a WMS system that can be used to run CAD on 5 or 6 workstations. I'm assuming that they will have to be in their own instances of Windows. I'd like to know what hardware would be needed, what software

If this is commercial or education use, you'll have to buy from a reseller like CDW.com To get good performance, the cost adds up pretty quickly in both hardware and licensing. You might actually do better just getting individual workstations like the Lenovo
E32 with pre loaded Windows Pro. I bought a few of those for about $1100 each + $400 each to upgrade to 32gb ECC Ram. Those came with Quadro k600 , Quad XEON 1245, 4gb non-ECC ram, 1TB HD. We are running SolidWorks 2014, but not dealing with very complex models.

Trying to get my old G4 to network with my current AEBS
Hello....I can't seem to get a 100% clear answer on this, so I may as well give a try here....
I'm trying to get my old (upgraded) G4 350 AGP to work in my living room as a "family computer". My MacBook Pro is my main machine, which is in my office, and also where the AEBS is located, along with my printer. I'm trying to figure out a way to "wirelessly" get my G4 to work (basically see the internet) in the other room....would I need to just purchase an AE or another AEBS, and send the signal to the G4 via Ethernet? This is what I was hoping to do.....I realize I could purchase an old Airport card off of eBay, but I'd rather avoid this route if at all possible.

With the AX configured as a Remote Base Station, it's Ethernet port will be enabled so you can connect your G4 to it for Internet access.
