I do not have the option to change my security information when I sign in to my Apple ID and goto Password and security. Why not?
Just to be clear - what are you signing into? You could be talking about connecting or setting a computer or device to your icloud or itunes account. You could be talking about logging into your icloud account using a browser to icloud.com. Or you may have followed a link to an Apple page that lets you edit your account.
If you can't remember your security questions/answers then go to Express Lane and select 'iTunes' from the list of 'products' in the middle of the screen.
Then select 'iTunes Store', and on the next screen select 'Account Management'
Next choose 'iTunes Store Account Security' and fill in that you'd like your security questions/answers reset.
You should get an email reply within about 24 hours (and check your Spam folder as well as your Inbox) - but some recent posts are saying that Apple have temporarily suspended the reseting of security question/answers whilst account security processes are improved, so it may take longer.

I just go my 5S and when I sign in with my apple ID and password 2 other email addresses pop up and ask for the password for those email address. Use your Apple ID with the iTunes Store
Open the latest version of iTunes.
Choose Store > Sign In.
Enter your Apple ID and password and click Sign In.
Click Review when asked to review your information.
Enter your billing information.

When I try to sign in with my Apple ID and password, it says I can not sign in. To check my network connection and try again.
I am connected to my home wifi network. Why can't I sign in??Not sure, but iAd Producer probably has nothing to do with this.
Did you try posting in a forum that discusses iPhone, or FaceTime, or networking?

i changed my sim on my iPhone n reconfigured iMessage, it configured with my number but when i sign in with my apple id it says username/password is wrong while in all other things like FaceTime, App Store it worked with the same id and password..

So, i did what you said.. went to setting>app store> tapped on my e mail.. it asked me to sign in (with my invalid emails address showing). I signed in with the password I had created. It said "incorrect".. I went to reset password. I reset password, tried to sign in and it says again "unvalid password".. this is getting irritating. I have been asking and no one knows what to do. -
my imessages are gone. i cant activate them now. When i go into send and recieve its only my e-mail address thats ticked and not my phone number ticked also. When i sign in with my apple ID it is ticked there. can anyone help me please.
Hi,
Go to the iPhone
GO to Settings > Messages
Is the iPhone Number ticked to be enabled (It will be greyed out and not editable but should be On)
If it is Off (Unticked remove the Apple ID)
Place the iPhone in Airplane mode for a few minutes.
Go back to Settings Messages and make sure the Message app Is Enabled overall.
Check the iPhone Number is verifying.
When Completed test by sending an iMessage to your Apple ID (Mac)
If that works add back the Apple ID to the iPhone's Settings.
Restart the Mac App and Accept the op ups that appear as to what the iPhone is using.

I just restored my ipod as a new ipod. It will not let me sign in with my apple ID and says that it has a problem connecting with the server, even though I am already connected to the wifi.

Reset the iPad to factory and set it up with your Apple ID and password. You can still sync different apps, music and other stuff onto the iPad, the devices need not mirror each other.
I have an old wifi iPad, an iPod touch and a new iPad mini with cellular. All on the same Apple ID and password, different content on some apps, same on others. -
Last night as I was setting up the pin I got distracted and entered the wrong one, now I can't access my phone as I don't know what I entered. Is there anyway around this or do I have to wipe my phone and sign in with my Apple ID and restore from icloud??
I can't ask for help on chat as I'm away from home and don't have the box with me, and obviously can't get the serial number in my phone as I've locked myself out!!

I'm trying to create a new id and e-mail using an e-mail address that is mine and has been mine for over a year - any ideas why this could be happening?Trying where? What sort of email address? The following answer is based on a guess as to what you are talking about.
If you already have an @me.com address, perhaps as a result of having had a MobileMe account, and you are now setting up an iCloud account with an Apple ID you will find you will be asked to create a new @me.com address, and that you can't add your existing one because it is already an Apple ID.
You can do one of two things:
1. Sign out at System Preferences; sign in with your existing @me.com address and enable Mail.
2. Stay signed in with the present ID and add your @me.com address in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars.

I am trying to change my email address for an Apple ID and it is saying that it is already in use. I then sign in with that Apple ID and it says that the account is not set up yet, I don't want to set up the account, but I do want to use the email address in my original Apple ID! HELP!
Welcome to the Apple community.
Once you have created a rescue address, you cannot delete it, nor can you change it to the same address as used by your ID. There are numerous providers you can get additional email addresses from, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, Google etc etc. -
I am unable to download iPhoto version 9.5 and iMovie version10.0, with my apple ID due to remark, this update is for an app downloaded with different Apple ID,Sign in with that Apple ID and try again,but I don't have other ID.

If they are in an iWork '09 folder take them out and let them loose in the Apps folder. Then reindex your HDD.

JohnYou are getting this message because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.

I am trying to update iphoto but I have been receiving the error message "This update is for an app downloaded with a different Apple ID. Sign in with that Apple ID and try again." All other IDs I have had NO LONGER work or aren't activated. I deleted the current verison of iphoto, but it still won't work, so now I have no iphoto whatsoever...any ideas? my current ID is my ONLY ID I have.
Apple Closed all other accounts and the logins DO NOT WORK!
Apple would only have closed an account if you called Apple and formally requested that be done. Otherwise, the account is still there.
I was able to delete my old apps and redownload them onto my computer which switch the Apple ID it was under, but I am not having the same luck with iPhoto.
Those would have been free apps that you "bought" again using your new Apple ID. iPhoto is a paid app and Apple will not transfer it to a different Apple ID. -

You can not create an iCloud account using a PC, set the account up on a Mac or an iPhone/iPad, then you will be able to sign into it on your PC.

When I stream a movie via Apple TV from my iPad Air into my Samsung TV, I'm getting the "soap opera" effect. This only happens when I use Apple TV, not when I view a movie directly through a cable channel. Is there a way to eliminate this effect?
I'm having the same problem. It's not an issue with my TV, i've turned this feature off. I've tried playing with the ATV display settings but nothing works. When I stream netflix from my Samsung bluray player, I don't get the soap opera effect, but when I stream any video from the ATV, the soap opera effect is there. I'm thinking it's a choice that Apple made, but I really wish it could be turned off. Not a lot of people are searching for this, because it can be easy to overlook, but it's driving me nuts!

i accidentally deleted iPhoto on my mac and it says the the app was downloaded with a different apple id and now i can't get the app back without paying $14.99
Did you install it yourself are somebody else for you?
If you installed them yourself, but do not remember which AppleID you used, try all AppleIDs you might have used in turn.
If somene else set up your Mac for you, ask the person to reinstall it. If you bought the mac second hand, the previous owner needs to contact Apple to transfer the iLife apps. If that is not possible, delete the apps that you cannot update and buy them using your AppleID.

Display/show/print point or anchor coordinates in Illustrator CS5
