HT5622 Why do I keep getting the message 'we can't complete your sign in to the store, please try again later'
I am a new user and have downloaded iTunes to my Windows pc. I have also checked my Apple ID and password multiple times. Every time I try to access iTunes store I get a message saying 'We can't complete your access to the store, please try again later'
This has been going on all day now. Is this usual or am I doing something wrong

It sounds like you cannot access the iTunes Store at all in iTunes.

I am unable to purchase anything at the iTunes store with this computer. The message is:
"We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202).
There was an error in the iTunes store. please try again later."
I always need to go back to my older laptop to purchase anything.

I use Win 7 ultimate with a fresh install of itunes. My Win 7 has never had a installation of itunes before.
I have tried disabling my firewall, but nothing changes. -

Hi all,
i am getting the below message when trying to download the imove and iphoto update from the app store app on my mac book.
I am able to download this on my imac with the same apple id and password, but when i try to do this on my mac book i get the following messsage:
we could not complete your request. there was an error in the app store. please try again later. (20)
this is strange as my account allows me to download other puschases on this macbook, and i have full admin rights on the macbook.

closed imove
finder > applications
imovie to the trash
empty trash
purchases > download
This is currently downloading, it have not completed yet, so i will update you once htat is done.

Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>
About=>Carrier? -

If you don't have a SIM card in the phone, you must put one in. It's required for activation.
If you do, then your phone was probably hacked to unlock it from the original carrier. Contact them and see if they will unlock it. If they will not do so, then you can't use that phone. -

there was an error in the itunes store. please try again laterI've been getting errors all morning when trying to connect to thestore either from my Apple TV to watch purchased TV shows, or from my iPhone to redeem gift cards - it would allow me to enter the voucher code but gave no confirmation, but then rejected a second attempt to enter the code - but wouldn't allow me to view my account to confirm my balance.
Connected OK from iTunes on my MacBook Air, the gift cards hadn't been credited, but I was able to add them from there.

Any possible solutions on how to fix this issue?
Sometimes there are just server problems with the App Store. Only thing that I can offer is to wait a day or so and try again and, if still no luck, contact the App Store support folks - http://www.apple.com/support/mac/app-store/.

Where exactly did you get the phone? If you have a SIM in it, it was most likely hacked to unlock it, meaning it's now completely bricked unless you can get the original carrier to authorize a legitimate unlock.
