To use an Apple ID, in the iTunes/App store, requires a payment method be associated with your ID. That can be either a credit card, or if no credit card, you can redeem an iTunes gift card. So, do you have a payment method associated with your account?

You cannot use that ID without a credit card. You did not create your account correctly. There is very specific way in which you must create your account if you do not want to use a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you will have to start all over again.
1. You will have to sign out of that ID before you can create a new one. Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID>Sign out.
2. You cannot use the email address that you used for the first ID that you created. You will need to use another email address now
3. You have to download a free app in order to start the new Apple ID process.

This is not how it works.
You can only have a maximum of 5 computers Authorised at any one time.
If you no longer have, or access to, the computer(s) you want to deauthorise,
Log in to iTunes, go to "view your account info" on the itunes store, deauthorise all five,
(Please Note: this can only be done Once every 12 months)
Then re-authorize your current Computer(s) one at a time.

I have two iTunescards and it shows that I have over $40 left, however when I try to use the card, my iPad prompts me for a code, I enter it And it says it's already been entered. Duh. I just want to use the remaining amount to buy more from the itues app

My iPad2 does not see the 'purchased' TV shows that I have bought on my Apple TV - what am I doing wrong?

So,
I have purchased a series of Top Gear on my Apple TV and want to watch it on my iPad. Since it is all 'in the cloud' I thought that this would be possible. I have read that you can go on the 'purchased' tab on the video app but that only have a film that I bought on itunes some time ago.
Is it possible to watch the TV shows on my ipad? If so....please help!! Thanks

Couple of things:
1. There is no "purchased' tab in the Video app - it's in the iTunes App. Once in the iTunes app / Purchased tab select the TV Series view (top left). You should then see your purchases.
2. Not sure where you are in the world but I believe previously purchased TV Shows are only avaible for re-download in the USA, Canada, UK & Australia http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085

Hi Sharky,
First, I would make sure you are charging using the wall adapter and cable that came with your phone. Plug into wall outlet.
If it was completely drained it can take about 20 minutes for it to fully get enough power back to even start up.
After about 20 minutes of charging in the wall outlet try turning it on like normal.
If it doesn't respond by just pushing the power button, try pushing and holding the power and home buttons together for about 15 seconds to see if it will startup.

you can try to download your icloud backups to computer, such as Tenorshare iPhone data recovery. this tool have 3 way to find back iphone data .
1, directly recover data fom iPhone (your devices have been factory reset, this way no useful)
2, extract data from your iTunes backup (if you sync your iphone 5c to iTunes before)
3, download iCloud backup files to computer. (use your Appple ID and load your data to computer)

I erased my mac os x hard drive and tried installed lion again without knowing that I have to use my apple account, and I have forgotten my details for it.

So I held down option and the power button and erased my hard drive to set it back to factory settings for school and I did not know that I needed my apple details to install lion again, and I dont know the username and password for it because I never really used the apple app. I created another apple account but it says I cannot use that account on it.. From what I learned from testing with a number of people, you do need to invoke IR in certain circumstances.
Command + R will reinstall the currently installed OS version. Apple ID verification is needed.
Command + Option + R will reinstall the originally installed OS version IF that was Lion or ML and the drive is erased first. (This is the option that needs to be used by sellers needing to wipe the drive and reinstall the original OS version before selling the machine; it will also work with a newly installed HD or other problems requiring a fresh install). Apple ID verification is not needed.
IR would appear to be helpful here since the OP is unable to use his Apple ID?

If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone and use Remote Wipe to erase the contents of your device. If you have been using iCloud to back up, you may be able to restore the most recent backup to reset the passcode after the device has been erased.
You can also wipe the iOS device by installing the FindMyiPhone app on another iOS device and using that app to wipe the device.
Next use the method discussed in the following for placing the iPod in Recovery mode without buttons

Check the manual for whatever backup program you used, or, if you just copied the files over, copy them that.

You need to restore you iPod to gedure the "other" to its normal of less than 0.5 GB. A restore from backup works if the large other is not in the backup. Make sure that you turn off outo syncing (iTunes>Preferences>Device and check the box that says Prevent iPOds....syncing. Otherwise, the backup will contain the other.
