To run a terminal command it is usually sufficient to use do shell script. So for your command it would be
do shell script "networksetup -setdnsservers Wi-Fi 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4"
note if the command requires administrator privileges you would need to do
do shell script "command" with administrator privileges
will prompt for the password when the script is run.
do shell script "command" user name "me" password "mypassword" with administrator privileges
will store the password and username in the script. More convenient but much less secure.

So here’s the deal: I wanted to watch some movies on my mac and I searched for it on the web. I found a site called cineble.com. I thought it to be a legal alternative to online movie streaming. They advertised with 5 days of free movies, then there was to be a monthly pay. So I ended up with them emptying my mastercard and now my bank and soon my lawyer is involved.
But that is not my point!
Cineble.comis run by iMoviesLtd. And they have scams like cineble.com allover the web. These guys also operate under different names: cinamuse, cinemaden, filmlush, and flixaddict, among others, all have the same ip-address. Still, it is run by iMovies Ltd.

So now I’m sitting here with having to pay 100 dollars and I’m really angry. So I thought to let Apple know that there are people exploiting Apples i-names for scams.They should be sued! Reported to the FBI! How do we stop these criminals from taking innocent people’s money? I really don’t know. But I think that it would help to have the world’s largest computer company backing me. After all, they exploit peoples trust in Apple and their i-products by naming themselves iMovies Ltd.

You cannot create an Apple ID to use in a country other than the one you are in. Even if you try to log in with your friend's Apple ID, iTunes will be able to tell where you are at and will not allow you to continue.

Here's my situation -- we are having a Halloween Party this Saturday and I wanted to be able to have people sit in front of my computer and take a picture of themselves with Photo Booth. They would then drag their picture into an album (I don't care if it's MobileMe Gallery, Album, etc.). A slideshow will be going in the other room from that folder via the Apple TV. The problem is getting that slideshow to update occasionally with the new pictures as they are dropped into the folder.
Any ideas other than having to back out to the main menu each time and restarting the slide show???

is there any way that we can find if the phone is unlocked or locked before purchasing.
the second hand phone i m plannign to buy is not from UAE and the phone is already jailbroken. the gentleman doesnt wanna upgrade to be sure as if its locked version he wont be able to use it himself.

How to make Macbook work with closed display?

I need to make MacBook to be closed (display) most of the time and work with external monitor, keyboard and mouse (actually trackball as I have been hating any type of mice since 1998 and not using it even at work).
Now I do not like mediocre resolution of small MacBook display and I prefer my 20 inch wide monitor. Also the keyboard is rather for quick work in small areas like restroom rather than comfortable work on big desk (I hate notebook keyboards either as they make me feel claustrophobic and crunching my fingers).
Considering recent buzz on Mac Mini not living for too long into future I would love to find alternative solution (meaning I do not want computer with display and keyboard in one and I do not have needs of spending few thousand of dollars for big metal case good for feeding and breeding birds I have ergonomics demands, but not higg performnce processing needs.
So can you tell me how I make Apple notebook being closed (and perhaps squashed by monitor stand) behave like a CPU box?

Thnaks, but I am not interested in bluethooth/wireless solution. That minimum of cable to reach CPU does not bother me and I do not buy big monitor to work on my computer from adjacent room. I just need space for more windows and I think Apple did great job having USB Hub on keyboard that allows stringing mouse and keayoboard with one cable to CPU.
Also I haven't heard of wireless KVM and I use such solution. This is not my only computer as I run home network and two of them in my room are supposed to share keyboard, mouse and monitor. So far I was successful to run this setup, but I need inexpensive plain CPU from Apple to be able to find comfortable solution to work.
Well I could drop the other computer if Apple managed to provide everything that I need (how about Safari properly working with Citrix client and Remote Desktop to Windows as I do not want Firefox on Apple computer? Only Firefox fixes the problems with this software).

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

     I can, with 99.99% certainty, tell you that you are absolutely right in not wanting to download or install this "Helper," whatever it is (but we can be equally certain it would not "help" anything).
     I cannot comment as to Oglethorpe's recommendation of 'adwaremedic'; I am unfamiliar with it. His links to the Apple discussion and support pages warrant your time and attention.
     It might be really simple -- Trying looking in your Downloads folder, trash anything that you don't know with certainty is something you want to keep, and then Secure Empty your Trash. Then remove the AdBlock extension, LastPass, and Web of Trust extensions to Safari and re-boot. If the issue goes away, still be extraordinarily careful in the future.
     Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be that simple to get rid of, in which case I'd then try the line by line editing in HT203987.
     I have no further suggestions (other than a complete wipe and re-install...but that's a pain because trying to restore from Time Machine would simply ... restore the Mal).
   For the rest of us, please post when you find a solution.
