can you access youtube and trailers and other internet features because if you have no internet connection you can't access the account

    Same thing happened with my iPhone 4S - no one is any help.  Thanks Apple for such a crappy update!  I've called Apple, they say the SIM card needs replacing, I go to my service provider they tell me nothing wrong with the SIM card - provider tells me I now need a new phone.  Sheesh!  If someone has a solution to this it would be greatly appreciated.

    What are you trying to look up on your mobile me account?  You should be syncing mobile me e mails, contacts, ect.  You have to set them up.

    iTunes will let you sync some stuff from multiple computers, but it'll only let you sync music, videos or apps from one iTunes library.

    If you have purchases on your iPod Shuffle that you want to sync back to iTunes, but are under the Apple ID you no longer have access to, you'll need to reset that account information. You can use this link to reset your password.

    If that doesn' work or help, you'll need to contact iTunes support and have them walk you through the process of resetting the older account information.  Once you know the email and password again, you can authorize your new computer and transfer any purchases from this account back to iTunes.
    For all non-iTunes purchased content, you'll need to the assistance of some sort of third party software that is not supported by Apple. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

    It seems that you may have an issue with your input source on your Mac since you can use your iTunes account on your iPad and iPhone.
    On your Mac, go to the system preferences > language & text > input sources > check keyboard & caracter viewer
    Now on the top right corner of the menu bar, you should have a new icon, click on it > show keyboard viewer.
    Go to the iTunes store and try to connect to your account. The keyboard viewer will show you if you type correctly your password. Please be careful with capital letter and numbers.

    You can create a new account, but all of the purchases that you did on your existing account will remain tied to that account, so only that account can potentially redownload them, authorise them on a new computer's iTunes and download updates to its apps.
    To reset the account's security questions and/or password, if you don't have access to the email account then contact Support in your country to get them reset.

    I updated my BT e-mail address a couple of years ago but still retained my old e-mail address which was in use with iTunes and other Apple web sites.  I suspected that my old address had been compromised so have been trying to delete it from iTunes.  I have created new ID but cannot delete the old one.  Can anybody help?

    OK, that being said, you don't "delete" an account from iTunes. An account will always be there; it's just a matter of whether you are logged in to iTunes on your particular computer using that particular account. What I think you want to do is just sign out of that account on your computer, so go to iTunes Store>[your Apple ID] (next to the back/forward buttons) and then "sign out".

    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")

    Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?
