HT5625 i phone asks me to verify my apple id by clicking OK, then it takes me into apps which i can do nothing with because it sends me back to sign on, which again says I must verify my apple id

need help as my phone keeps telling me that my apple id has not been verified, but offers no way to verify the id and I have no clue where to go from there.

How to verify the primary email address for your Apple ID
When you first create an Apple ID (using your email address) a verification email will be sent to that address. If you sign in to your Apple ID from the link in that email, the email address will be verified as the primary email address for your Apple ID. You can also resend the email verification if the email address is not verified:
1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
2. Click Resend under Primary Email Address.
3. Verify your changes by following the link in the email you will receive from Apple and signing back in to your account.

With respect, you actually cannot store folders on the left side of the Dock - only on the right side. I wonder if you're talking about Launchpad, which looks like a silver rocket and shows you your installed applications? It's not actually a shortcut to the Applications folder, though. You can certainly drag Launchpad into the left side of the Dock from the Applications folder.

Errors when updating leads to corrupt system files and this may be your problem. If you're using windows, connect your device to PC and run any third party app like Syncios. If it detects, you maybe in luck and try to back-up your data if possible. I hope that it won't and if doesn't, there is no other way to recover files. You should be restoring with iTunes and all data will be erased, or else your device may become unusable.

I have an invoice about purchase, I can provide the page of the transaction and screenshots from phone.
I appealed to the seller to remove this device from the iCloud at distance, but he at all doesn't wish me to understand and speaks only about phone return, and it categorically doesn't suit me now.

Another reason: You said he doesn't understand that find my iPhone is activated. If the phone was originally his, he would have known what it was since he had to turn on find my iPhone to begin with.
Doens't mean they know what FindMyiPhone is or that they even activated it.
Many (most?) users simply click thru without reading anything and don't have a clue what they are clicking on.

some additional info about the clean install, I did not Migrate any data over from a Time Machine, I started fresh. Perhaps this could be my issue. Do I need to Migrate over the User account in order to have access to my old data?

TS1702 downloaded a free app which now says was 99.00 and 9.00

I've heard stories like this but it just happened to me and I can't figure out how to fix it.
My 4 year daughter asked to download a free app called Campus Life. She started playing with the app and I got two bills. I one 99.00 and one for 9.00 which apple automatically charged me for. I hit report a problem but that does nothing.

Apple allows apps to list themselves as "Free" if the initial download is free, even if the app has kid-oriented inducements for costly in-app purchases. The in-app purchases are almost always ridiculous, over-priced game accessories, such as "jewels," "brains," and "power ups." (I can imagine what the ones in Campus Life were that justified a $99 price tag.)
To Apple's credit, they have a good record of granting refunds provided you explain the extenuating circumstances (unintentional purchase by a minor) and only ask once. Contact iTunes Customer Service.
As Stedman notes, you need to immediately place restrictions on the devices. The restrictions are off by default (caveat emptor!), so you need to take action to place them. See this document: iOS: Understanding Restrictions

Ipad App Store said "20" updates. I attempted to update w/3G. Now many apps say "Waiting" and are frozen. When I go online and plug into computer it just updates and doesn't address the individual apps, which still say "Waiting" and are frozen.

All it did was very quickly go thru the 4 steps and said, "Synched, OK to uplug." I clicked my ipad and then apps. It also said Update complete (or something like that). Now several apps on iPad are frozen and say "Waiting". Help!!

Oh a few other things I forgot.
The long winded back-ups!!!! JESSSSSSH! Although I think the latest update seems to have bit into this a bit.
Also why is it that sometimes when the iPhone is syncing it will not say on the actual iPhone that it is syncing. I see it's syncing in iTunes but the iPhone doesn't have the typical do not disconnect -syncing message!!! What's odd is I can see the new apps being updated to the iPhone and as long as I don't open any apps it will finish it's sync but the minute I open any apps the iPhone will lock-up!!!

Which of these 2 jars are not recognized by the webstart ?
Regarding signing jar files using ANT try to sign them using this code - might work for you.

Why is my phone asking me to enter my Apple ID password every hour or so?

I have 2 x iPads and 2 x iphones all using 1 apple id perfectly. Everything syncs as it should and iCloud works fine. However, recently, all my devices have started randomly asking for my Apple ID password in the pop up box - seems like every time I wake it up, or hourly.
Sometimes I enter it, sometimes I don't - doesn't seem to make a difference.
Doesn't seem to be connected to a particular app, or to the App store (thought it might be auto updating apps? But it's not).
This started about the same time as the new 5.01 update was released.
Anyone else seeing this or know why this is happening or how to stop it?

Then restart the devices.

Did you back them up with iCloud, or sync them to Photostream? If not, they are gone.
