HT5625 Upgraded iphone 4 to 5s. Want to use 4 as ipod. DO NOT KNOW APPLE ID FOR 4. When I try to find Apple ID, it finds the id on my ipad and my 5s. I have no idea what the old id is? What are my options?

Why don't you simply continue to use the same AppleID you had?
The 4 ID IS something I made up in the store the day I bought the phone. I have no idea what the id is.
You had an iPhone for 2 years and you never got anything from iTunes or never enabled any features of the iPhone?

In addition to what FelipeV is telling you, I advise you to contact your friend and have him remove the iPhone from his apple id through icloud.com. Otherwise, if in the future you want to update the iOS or restore the iPhone for troubleshooting a problem, you may find that you cannot activate it again due to the feature Activiation Lock in iOS 7.
Once your friend has done this, you should deactivate Find my iPhone on your iPhone iCloud settings and then activate it back with your own Apple ID. -
iOS 7.0.3 did not fix the mirroring issue with ATVs and AirServer. Anyone have an idea what needs to be done? The only solution we have found is to reboot the iPad. We don't have the option of restarting the wireless as so many people are on and it would further disrupt classes.

I just received the error message "Attempting to copy to the disk failed. The required disk cannot be found". When I try to sync my iPhone or iPad to iTunes. Anybody have any ideas? The sync worked yesterday.

just got a replacement iPhone 4s and i let the battery run down all the way before charging it and now that i have put it on the charger it won't turn back on or show any signs that it is charging. its just a black screen. how do i fix it
Keep iPhone on wall charger for ten minutes, it may turn ON itself. If still nothing, keep on charger and Reset, hold both home and power buttons for about 20 seconds until the iPhone begins to respond.

Sync each of them as always. There is no need to do anything, just sync them to your computer. -
HT5538 Broke my iPhone so i want to use my iPod touch for imessaging but my imessages wont send
I broke my iPhone and I would like to use my iPod to send iMessages, except everytime i try and send a message they won't deliver. My iPhone and iPod accounts are linked.... so not sure why this is happening. I went into messages settings and made sure my send & recieve was correct and it is. someone help please!!
Do the recipients have an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad with the Messages app and are yo calling the email address or phone number they set up for Messages?
An iPod can only Message to another iOS device with Messages.

Yes, actually there is a free Nook app. It does not offer in app book purchases, but syncs to the Barnes and Noble account (book are actually purchased from the web site and then downloaded in the app).

i have changed the apple ID (email) but on my iphone , the icloud is stil asking me to log in whit the old email.And it is poping-up on every 10 seconds.I never used icloud, and i dont want to use it.I just dont know how to disable the icloud.
If you see that pop up you enabled icloud. Whether you want or do not want now to use it irrelevant until you actually disable activation lock.
In order to do that you have to change your apple id back to do that just long enough to sign in and back out. System will ask you to verify, don't.
Just sign in on the prompt you getting and then logout. Once done, change apple id to what you have now and verify. Then decide if you want to
use icloud (who does not want to be able to track their phone if lost or stolen). -
I have an iphone 5. I have no idea of the ios version in it. Recently i broke my iphone screen and its showing up nothing. it was never synced to itunes or to any pc. When i tried to connect iphone to itunes in my pc it was asking for passcode which i had forgotten ages ago. Suggest me the possible ways to recover my iphone.
Since the screen doesn't work, it will be challenging to get it working, even thru iTunes. You will need to ask yourself if you want to invest more money in it or get a new one, especially since the contents will be lost since you don't know the passcode. Apple will gladly replace the screen for a cost that represents a significant portion of the price of a new. Once the screen is done, you may or may not be eligible for the free iPhone 5 Battery Replacement Program.
Or, if you decide to salvage it and are strong of heart and firm of hand, you can replace the screen yourself for less. See here and note they carry kits with all needed tools and parts. -

It sounds like it still has her information on it, so it might be efficient to navigate to Settings, then General, then Reset, then Erase All Content and Settings. You can then set up the phone again, using your information. This way the phone will be yours, officially, and her data and information will be removed.
