Hopefully you understand that HT5711 applies only to iBooks Author, whose format can only be read on an iPad or OS 10.9 in any case. Japanese ebooks can be created in epub3 format for the iBookstore and these will be readable on any platform. You will have to use an app like InDesign for Sigil for this instead of iBA or Pages.
Nobody can tell you if or when Apple will expand the capabilities of iBA to cover these languages.

Sorry, quite right. My note was not helpful, just plain frustrated. the sync does not hold. So the phone keeps trying to establish the synchronization. Thus, it zero's out the emails and intermittently does not hold the calendar, the phone shows the calendar unchecked. When you manually recheck the calendar it begins to sync. There was quite a lot of blogging about the issues of exchange and the iphone. Also contacts will revert to telphone numbers only with the name of the individuals disappearing. After sync is restablished everything looks normal and then when it losses synchronicity, it starts all over again. It is happening as I type. There were a nbr of user suggestions about how to maintain stablility with synchronicity. However, none of the issues resolved the matter. I have spoken with my IT department. What settings do you have for exchange....what version of exchange. I also heard the apple dismissed its chief overseeing this aspect of the iphone 5 because of the issues.
Apple is very unhelpful....

So Firefox is leaving you in "the lurch" because you installed a POS toolbar which is supported by freecause.com which doesn't have its' act together enough to make sure that their security certificate is up-to-date??
Firefox is doing its' job by alerting you to the out-of-date certificate! You need to figure out what extension you have installed which is causing that message, and disable that extension until the certificate is replaced by a current certificate.

Adobe Send - Problem with uploading files. When is this going to get fixed?

When is the Adobe Send problem with uploading files going to get fixed. Similar to others - I have tried and tried to make Adobe Send work and get an error. I have tried to upload the file and it looks like it uploads and then - it is nowhere to be found.
I then go to Adobe Send Now and it works fine.

The problem is the same as described in other similar threads.
I have a 57 MB PowerPoint file I am trying to send using Adobe Send. I go through the normal steps to identify the file and select recipients and then send the file. After the file completes the upload - an error saying there was a problem comes up and the file is not uploaded.
I have tried to upload the file to the site with similar results - error and the file doesn't go.
I can go to the old SendNow site and it works flawlessly.
If I need to get screenshots - let me know. There are several other threads describing this same problem. It isn't something new or not heard of before.

Just this past week, I noticed that Firefox is not keeping my passwords. This is MADDENING. I'm on a Mac, but it seems many are having this issue. I don't see a solution given for this. WHEN IS THIS GOING TO BE FIXED??? I like FF the way is USED to be!

It seems Firefox has stopped retaining passwords. This happens with all of my accounts. I must fill in the password manually.
This password issue is not computer specific either. It happens on my G5 as well.

I'm sure I will be calling AppleCare, but the problem is, they charge for the phone calls don't they? Because I don't have money to be spending to be on the phone with a support service.
In other things, it seemed like the only time my MacBook was working was when I had Snow Leopard without the 10.6.8 update download that was supposed to be done to prepare for OS X Lion.
When I look at the information of my HD it says that I have 10.6.8 but that was the install that it claimed to have failed and caused me to restart resulting in all of the repeated problems.
Also, because my computer is currently down, and I've lost all files how would that effect the use of my iPhone? Because if it doesn't get fixed by the time OS 5 is released, how would I be able to upgrade?!

Google decided that they will no longer produce the Google Toolbar for Firefox beyond Firefox 4. Future versions of Google toolbar will only work with IE7-9. Google Toolbar is not available on any other browser, even Google's own browser.

QuickTime thumbnail rendering...when is this going to be fixed?

Safari STILL does not render thumbnails linking to videos on our streaming server correctly. It is ONLY Safari that does this.

See how the thumbnails in Safari are all zoomed in and blurry? This is pulling up the same page on the server...Safari just doesn't render them properly. Plus, Safari pulls these pages up REALLY slowly. It's kind of weird that browsers made by other companies (including IE for Windows) pull it up faster and with the thumbnails displayed correctly.

Can't transfer mp3 from overdrive with new itunes 12.1 update. Was told aware of problem. When is it going to be fixed? This is very frustrating. There are a lot of glitches now with trying to transfer audiobooks even the WMA. 12.1 deleted my entire music library.

IChat Sharing doesn't work... When is it going to be fixed?

After attempting several times to resolve this issue with an Apple technician, with the last technician advising me that it was a bandwidth issue, (I have since increased my bandwidth to 7 Mbps, and the problem still haven't been resolved) when is this issue going to be fixed? After the 10.5.7 update, the iChat software no longer works. The error message states "No activity has been received in the last 10s" which is seen on both computers after the connection is completed for 15 seconds. I've done every thing from changing the port number, to reinstalling iChat. Can anyone give me any info about any update to fix this problem?

After reading the Note 3 problems. How is this going to be fixed and when.

After finding other people were having the same issue I was with my note 3. No help from customer service. Have the issues been fixed on the New Note 4 that soon to be released? As for the cost of having a Verizon account with 6 phones for over $400 a month with 10g to share. Everyone says this is crazy and we have been a loyal customer for over 12yrs. I think we are switching after this. bad reception and bad phones. So much inconvenience when they have to send a refurbished phone. Dropped calls and no bars this has been the worst phone I have had. My husband has the S5 and gets a little better reception and picture quality and I paid $700 for what??? Oh its on the edge....I have tried everything to make this phone work. Since the update it stinks. Friends of mine with the news are thinking of doing a segment on this and service. Verizon is the most expensive and service and quality has gone way down hill .
So what do we do?

Agreed. I would have to think it's just a matter of time before word gets out and they start losing customers. The network "upgrade" was definitely a bad move. They should have just built on to their existing network and not acquired someone else's garbage spectrum. Way to take a step back! I thought Verizon was the leader in fewest dropped calls. Not for long! I wonder how dropped calls get reported? Oh wait...it wouldn't technically be considered a dropped call if you couldn't make the call in the first place.
Sorry for being so negative. But, you would think that having a top-tier phone, we wouldn't have these issues.
I am so frustrated with this. I have been looking at prices on the other carriers over the past month or two, where before I would never think of that because I valued the reliability of Verizon too much. Now, there is nothing to keep customers from fleeing Verizon, especially when they charge more than anyone else out there.

1000 results: Matches for every article containing any of the words 'can't', 'unpin' and 'tab'.
This makes the search useless, if there was an advanced search option available then it wouldn't be so bad but there isn't.

Best in such a case is to remove all common words and only search for unpin
