HT5714 Can I download a pre-ordered album from my iPhone?

I pre-ordered an album and now it is available, but I can't access it from my iPhone.  I don't want to download it onto my computer.  Can anyone help?

The album already came out on the 31st of August, so I'm not sure what is going on.
I used to have a computer but it got stolen recently, leaving me unable to sync my ipod with another computer for fear of losing all my music.
I tried going directly to the iTunes store and downloading it from there, but when I click purchase it says it'll charge me another $13 to buy an album that I supposedly already bought.

  • HT5714 Can't download a pre-order it came out a few days ago.

I tried doing the check for available downloads but still said i downloaded all of it. Which it did not.
So how can i get it. It also said i purchased it too.

    Hello BFMV11000,
I would be eager to download and listen to a pre-ordered album as well.  I found a couple of resources that might help with downloading this purchase.
First, I recommend trying to download the album from the list of past purchases.  As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the album, you will not be charged again.  You can find the steps to do this in the section titled "Apps, Books, Music, Movies, or TV shows on a computer" in the following article:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
If you are still not able to download the album, I recommend reporting this issue to the iTunes Store:

  • I just downloaded a pre-ordered album and one song is corrupted and stopping just after a minute in. Can I redownload the song for free?

I just downloaded a pre-ordered album and one song is corrupted and stopping just after a minute in. Can I redownload the song for free?

If you delete the song from your PC you can redownload it.  Make sure you actually remove it from the computer, and not just from the library (select "Move to Recycle Bin" when deleting).  To redownload you can go to the itunes Store->Purchased-> Download Previous Purchases.  Within there you have the option to view all songs purchased, as well as all songs which are "Not In My Libraray".
If you don't feel comfortable deleting the song, you can just move copy/paste it somewhere else so that you've got it backed up in case the re-download doesn't work.

You can cancel pre-orders by logging into your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes (you can't cancel them on your phone) : iTunes Store: About pre-orders.

  • HT5714 How to download your pre-orders from IOS7?

I can't download Drakes new album because I can't find the pre order button

    Hi Neelam,
I'm very afraid to say that SAP CRM Service Orders are not the same as SAP ECC Service Orders. So, from the SAP CRM data exchange for Service Orders will not happen. Only if a Service Order has a sales Item then the data exchange will occur.
So, it would be great if you can give the business requirement for pulling the ECC service orders into SAP CRM. And also Service Order is a transactional data. And you can start the data exchange through the CRM Middleware Data Objects.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Samantak.

  • I can't find how to download a pre-ordered album on my ipod after the album has been released.

I pre-ordered an album on my ipod a few weeks and it just came out today. When I got to the store and clicked on the album it says purchased. I can't find how to download the album on my ipod.

    Hi there,
You may find the article below helpful.

When a pre-order item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know your pre-order is available for download.

  • I can't find any way at all to download my pre-ordered album.

Attempt 1: I went to the album page. The album and every song say "purchased", which makes me unable to press a "download" option.
Attempt 2: I checked for available downloads but came up with nothing.
Attempt 3: I managed my preorders from my account options page. The only option there was to cancel my pre-order (even though the album is already available).
Attempt 4: I viewed my recent purchases, but the album did not show up.
Attempt 5: In a somewhat desperate attempt (though I knew it wouldn't work because of Attempt 4), I turned on the viewing of Cloud items in the library, but once again my pre-order did not make an appearance.

    Try to rebuild the iTunes Library first;
Note: After re-creating your library, any devices that you sync with iTunes (Apple TV, iPod, iPhone, iPad) will see your iTunes library as a new library and will completely resync. The next sync with such a device will take longer and may reset some options since your rebuilt library isn't familiar to the device.
    1. Quit iTunes.
    2. Locate your iTunes folder (this is the folder that contains the iTunes Library and iTunes Library.xml files).
    Operating System
    Default location of iTunes Folder
    Mac OS X
    /Users/[your username]/Music
    Microsoft Windows XP
    \Documents and Settings\[your username]\My Documents\My Music\
    Microsoft Windows Vista
    \Users\[your username]\Music\
    Microsoft Windows 7
    \Users\[your username]\My Music\
    3. Open your iTunes folder.
    4. Drag the "iTunes Library.xml" or "iTunes Music Library.xml" file to the Desktop. If neither is available, learn how to add files back to the Library (because the XML file is not available, playlists and other information will not be available).
    5. Drag the following file from your iTunes folder to the Trash:
    Mac OS X
    "iTunes Library" or "iTunes Library.itl"
    Microsoft Windows
    "iTunes Library.itl"
    6. Open iTunes.
Important: Do not add any content into iTunes at this point (such as by purchasing something from the iTunes Store).
    7. Choose File > Library > Import Playlist.
    8. Navigate to the "iTunes Library.xml" file on the Desktop.
    Mac users: Click Choose.
    Windows users: Click Open.

I pre-ordered an album in december, it is now available, i've had the email to say it can now be downloaded, however there is no option to download at all.....where the download icon (or the price if not pre ordered) would usually be, it simply says "purchased" and there is no option to download...any ideas?

  • I can't download a pre-order book, but i can download others new

I have pre ordered a book Ana i can't download it but i can download new book

    Hi again,
i just looked at this same book (that I received a pre-order download email for today) on my iPhone 5 and it was already downloaded - it never asked for the password. I opened the book and it is all there. Then I went back to iBooks on the iPad and the book was still sitting waiting to be downloaded, but this time when I hit the download icon and it asked for a password the keyboard was not grayed out so I could download.
Strange that each time I tried the download BEFORE looking at the same item on the iPhone the iPad grayed the keyboard, but worked AFTER accessing the book on the iPhone.
Also strange that the iPhone downloaded automatically but the iPad did not.

  • Can't download a pre-ordered book on iPad

I got the e-mail telling me that a book I had pre-ordered was available  for download. When I tap on the link in the e-mail, iBooks launches and asks me for my password. However, the keyboard is grayed out so that I can't enter anything. Going to purchased items shows the book as pre-ordered but doesn't have any way to download. This has happened with the last 8 or 10 books I have pre-ordered. I tried killing and re-starting iBooks and then killing and re-booting the iPad. Neither worked. I then contact Apple support. They had me re-set all settings on my iPad. When that didn't work, their next suggestion was to delete and re-install ibooks. Neither of those solutions worked either. Now, they suggest that I do a restore of the iPad and re-install everything. I think there has to be a less drastic solution. Quite frankly, that solution is worse than the problem. So has anyone seen this behoavior before and know of a less drastic solution? (My work around is to download the book on my Mac at home and then I can either download it on the iPad or sync. Not as convenient as downloading it directly but much less painful than a re-set to factory state.)

  • HT201272 can't download a pre purchased album

I have prepurchased an album, one direction midnight memories, and in itunes, on the right side, it says purchased, but I am unable to download the songs.

I have a similar problem: I had this problem in relation to the "password not remembered" issue in https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2167066 but resolved by "reset itunes Cache: in prefs->Advanced.  I still have this problem, but in pre-ordered Seasons Passes.  In more detail:
(I hope the editor doesn't butcher my indented number-list)
    1. iTunes 11.0.3(42)  (released a few days before Towel Day?)
        1.1 prefs->Store->"Download pre-orders when available" is checked
    2. Store-> Check for available downloads
    3. "All purchases have been downloaded for this Apple ID" (I only use one apple ID for purchases)
    4. Browse in ITMS to the content (Grimm Season 2)
    5. see that there is a new episode
5.1 most episodes have a "downloaded" button
5.2 the new episode has a "download" button
    6. clicking the "download" causes the download to come without any problem
iTMS understands I have purchased it and it's waiting for me, but neither "Download pre-orders when available" nor "Check for available downloads" finds the new content.
    Any ideas?

I pre-order two albums and it wont download the whole abulm

    Hello Darkwing369
Check your purchase history to try and download them again. Also in iTunes, check for available downloads (Store > Check For Available Downloads…). If that still does not work, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

  • How can I delete photos and or albums from my iphone without having to delete them in all locations?  I have some pictures in an album that i want to remove them from but when I try it asks do I want to delete picture  from all loc

I have pictures in albums on my iphone.  I want to delete them from one album but when I try it asks to delete the picture from all locations.  I only want to delete it from 1 album.  Is this possible to do?

You can delete photos from individual albums but not from the camera roll.  If you try to delete a photo from camera roll it will be deleted from all other albums ("locations") that contain the photo.  This is because the actual photo is in the camera roll (the albums only contain links to the photo in camera roll, not the actual photo).
