HT5714 Will I be charged extra for pre-ordering an album that has already released a few songs?
I pre-ordered an album for $18, and the album already had a few songs released on it. It seems that I received these songs instantly, but I also paid for them separately, which as most know, is more expensive than buying a full album. Does this mean that an additional $18 will be deducted from my account even though I've already paid for those separate few songs, and will I be charged for each song that releases up till the release date of the album?
I just thought I was paying $18, but now it looks like I'm paying more.

It's so funny you mentioned this, I'm currently having the same problem with the same album. I actually just finished sending iTunes an email about it (supposed to get back to me within 24 hours) and then found this article. I would suggest you do the same, but if you don't I'll try to remember to post back what I hear from them. I've always had great support for the odd thing that didn't work properly (like a glitch in a TV show or something) so I'm sure they'll clear this up without a problem. I asked the same thing too though, about what price I actually get charged, so hopefully I'll also get a response to that too. But yes, according to most pre-order rules in other stores, it should be the price we pre-ordered it for. Oh and yes I've checked for available downloads from the iTunes Store menu, but it just told me everything has been downloaded already. I double-checked my library to be sure it hadn't downloaded in the background but it was definitely not there. It has not downloaded yet.

Presently, it appears that this title is only available for pre-order with ship to home. That being said, this would not be able to be pre-ordered in store, or online for store pickup. I preo ordered the album "Lost Isles" by Oceans Ate Alaska and the first early realease song, "Floorboards" Was instantly downloaded into my music library. However, today, a new song was released early called "Blood Brothers". It hasn't been downloaded into my music library and will let me purchase it for 99p. The album also says next to it "Complete Pre Order" but if I click that it just says "Album already purchased". Please tell me how to get the album without having to individually buy each track when they are released, costing me at least another £7. :/

I pre ordered an album maybe a month ago, and it just came out today. They released some of the songs before hand and I have all 5 of those on my phone. But today when the whole album was released it didn't download to my phone. I went and checked the ITunes store and it said i never bought it even though it did. HELP ME!!

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with pre-order issues. It contains steps to report your issue for further assistence:
You can use your email receipt to report a problem. If you use Family Sharing and you have an problem with a shared item, ask the family member that bought the item to report the problem using the steps below.
To report a problem with an item you bought, follow these steps:
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the item you're having a problem with.
Enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having a problem with.
Select your problem from the Choose Problem menu.
Follow the onscreen instructions. You might be asked to describe the problem in a text field.
Click Submit and we'll review your problem.

It's all very confusing to me, I need some answers from experienced customers.I already checked. I purchased my iPhone 3G on the launch date back in July '08. To echo the above users, you can pre-order the iPhone 6/6+ on Sept 12 at 12:01am PST. I'm assuming it's PST because that's the time zone for Cupertino (Apple headquarters).
I know a few years back when I pre-ordered the iPhone 4, pre-order date was Feb 2, I received my phone Feb 5 at my friend's home*, and it wasn't available in stores for retail until Feb 10, so there is always a possibility that you will receive your phone BEFORE Sept 19th if you pre-order on the 12th, however that isn't a guarantee.
If you do not pre-order the iPhone 6/6+, it will be available in stores with limited quantity on Sept 19th.
* You do not necessarily have to have it delivered to the billing address of the account; you can have it delivered anywhere you'd like. I'm not sure if you can have it shipped to store for pick-up; that doesn't seem likely. Pre-order packages are shipped free and must be signed for in order to be received (for security purposes).

Apple IDs are free. Your Apple ID is also usable as your iCloud email address. You need not use it as such.
