HT5717 Every time I try to download this update I get an error message: "The operation couldn't be completed. (NSURLErrorDomain error -1012.)(-1012)"
What can I do to download and install it?
Also:
Everytime I click on Download after iTunes opens up a the window New iTunes Version Available (11.1.3) it fails to appear in the software list.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

I am unaware if this is caused by iTunes or if it's my internet connection or if it's just my computer. Every time I try to download an update for my device (iPhone 4, iPod 3rd Gen) it returns with an error message of 3259. This error message states that my connection timed out. This causes me to browse the internet for the same update and download it with my web browser. It is a hastle. In iTunes, the entire update will download but when it comes to the "processing file" portion my connection just times out.
Please, if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I would really appreciate itI'm having the same problems! It might be because there are so many downloaders... Anyway try turning off al antivirus and stuff like that. If this helps tell me please.

my MAc Book PRO 13" Retina display will not update. It crashes every time I try to do an update. I have sent in the information on each update but so far nothing back from Apple. Also it does not matter what I am trying to update, the operating system, and application, each caused the same crash. This mac book is less than a month old.
That is the highest you will be able to go with 3g. You need 3gs or 4 to go any higher (multi processors and more memory needed). Version 4.2.1 marks the end of your updates for that device.

No - you there is nothing more to explain - you boot into safe mode as described in the link in my post and try assembling the book while in safe mode - nothing more to it

It appears Apple’s download servers are ‘overwhelmed’ today. I couldn’t download the newest iTunes update or IOS 7 and there are a lot of discussions today about not being able to download. One poster said they had chatted with App Store support who confirmed the problem.
What updates? Here is a link for iTunes which worked for me.

The most recent update I have in the App Store is an OSX update but I receive this error message when I select the update button. (The operation couldn’t be completed. My email is not working properly, I can receive emails but I cannot send them. Every time I try to send an email an error message appear saying "The recipient was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying". There used to be no problem with my email it has only come up recently. Also, my Internet works fine. I have tryed restoring my iPad to factory settings but it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Yes. I think it would be helpful to know how you are trying to update. WiFi? Using iTunes on a computer? Of using iTunes, Mac or Windows? Specific contents of the error message? Details really DO help.
Whichever method you are using, try the other. If you were using WiFi, try iTunes. If you were using iTunes, try disabling your firewall and antivirus software. If you don't have a computer and have to use WiFi, try another WiFi network.
No matter which way you decide to go, reset the iPad to clear the cobwebs and maybe that will help.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If you are using iTunes, quit iTunes and restart the computer before you try again.
