All you need to do is go to the iTunes store, and then go to purchased in the right side of iTunes store.  It is under the quick links.  Then you will be able to download the past purchases there.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Try deleting the problematic file (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option at the bottom of the screen of the iTunes app (or video app) on your iOS device.
If the problem re-occurs, select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History using your computer.
Excellent choice of album by the way.

  • Can't purchase and download app songs and albums..

When ever I have to put my password in to buy download an app, purchase a song and album a please try again or unable to purchase/download the app or song pops up every time. The other day I pre-order an album and the error message came up but it said I already purchase the songs you were able to buy but it's not in music folder. Anyone experience this before this error message?

  • How to purchase and download Mac OS X v10.7 Lion in 2012?

    Hello,
I have an old mbp (2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, late 2006) for which i have recently ordered RAM (max at 3gb) and an SSD.
I plan on upgrading from the current OS, Snow Leopard (10.6.8) to Lion (10.7) as i do not believe Mountain Lion (10.8) will run tolerably in this mbp.
I had never purchased Lion so i have found myself in a pickle.
    How do i get it?
I've been browsing the forums and searching the net for hours now and all the tips boil down to figuring out previous purchases or hidden applications in the AppStore.
I have never purchased Lion, i want to do so now... How can i do that?
    Thank you

Phone the online Apple Store and order a download code for it.

  • I purchased and downloaded my songs, and some don't play.

To clarify the songs do play, but only the first 4 seconds. The weirdest part is that songs that were downloaded before and after the ones that won't work, from the same album as well, do work. Any advice and has anyone ever had it happen before?

Delete the corrupted songs, then redownload.

  • When I click on Buy Now - it simply won't purchase and download the song. What's wrong?

Do you currently have a credit card set up in your iTunes store Enter Payment Information screen?
If so, grab a recent statement for that card and check to make sure that the address that shows up in your Enter Payment Information screen exactly matches the address showing on your credit card statement. For example, if your address in the credit card statement says "Street", the iTunes screen has to also say "Street" (Not St or Str.) Also match the capitalisation of the address on your statement. (If it says STREET in the statement make it say STREET in the iTunes screen, not Street or street.)
Also make sure that your name in the iTunes screen exactly matches the one in your statement. (Say, if you've got a middle initial in the credit card statement name, you need one in the iTunes screen.)
After doing that, does that get you past the invalid address thing?
If not, there's some additional suggestions in the following post:

  • I am trying to re-download some songs I deleted by mistake.  I go to purchases and it only shows me options for Apps and Books, no list for Music.  How can I get the music list to show up or alternatively how can I re-download the songs?

I messed up and deleted a few songs by mistake.  When I go to the "purchases" option it only lists apps and books that have been downloaded, but music is not an option to see what was downloaded previously.  Anyone know how I can re-download the songs ?

I have been having the same problem.. and yes, I am in the US.  I have tried reinsatllin gitunes several time and that doesn't work either

Delete the problem song(s) from library including file(s). Then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Select Music tab to re-download again for free.

I have purchased and downloaded an album, but some of the songs did not download correctly as the songs are not complete.  How do I redownload them without purchasing the album again.

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the track and try redownloading fresh copies.
Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)
