HT5731 I cant seem to be able to download any songs

Ive tried uninstalling itunes and re installing it. Ive reset my password and i still cant seem to download any songs. all i keep getting is to re enter my password over and over again

Ive just tried again to reset my password and i then logged and and out and it keeps asking me to confirm my password for verfication then i do that then it asks again to review billing information and then it keeps asking for billing information

    Do you mean old version cannot be removed?  What are your specifics?  Which version of iTunes do you have now?  Did you try to remove iTunes via Control Panel/Add Remove Programs?

    However <s>Firefox is obviously working, and </s>it does no harm to have more than one browser on a computer. In fact it can be a distinct advantage. For instance it allows you to use the alternative browser if the primary one has a fault.
    Maybe what you are in fact trying to do is to set Internet Explorer (IE) as the default browser again, so that for instance the IE icons appear on some files and links. You can do that from IE

    Only developer's have access to iOS 6 now. Thus, if you are a developer you have have access to the developer's forum for iOS 6.
    Otherwise you have a bootleg copy and are on yur own./

    How are you trying to do it ? You can change the rescue email address on your account by, from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 :
    Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
    Click "Manage your account"
    When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
    Click Password & Security
    You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
    After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
    Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
    You can then try using your current rescue email address as your primary email address - you may need to log out of that page and back in. Or you can then try changing the primary email address via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
    If you have an iPhone, iPad and/or iPod Touch you may then need to log out of your account on them by tapping on it in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log back in for the account to be 'refreshed' on it.

    You need to describe more clearly what you are trying to do and how it is failing.
    Was your mac new, or just new to you? What OS did it come with? Lion? Snow Leopard?
    Have you already bought Mountain Lion? If so, are you using the same Apple ID that you used for your purchase?
    What are you seeing in the App Store? Come to think of it, are in the MAC App Store? (not to be confused with the iTunes App Store!).
    If you give answers to these questions we may be able to help!

    I Can't seem to be able to download (or update) any apps on IOS 8.0, and I have been able to download apps on IOS 7 and IOS 6. I have 5.2 GB of available space on my iPad (4th generation) and I have only used 7.1 GB on my 16GB ipad. I have a full two bars of Internet. Again I have been able to download things with two bars in the past using IOS 7 and IOS 6. Any suggestions would be helpful. =3    Sorry for the incorrect spelling  

    You might try just waiting. There are millions of people activating their iPhones today and people still trying to get iOS8, so the servers are swamped. I'd give it a couple of days and if it still doesn't work then try some troubleshooting.

    Plug your iPod in and when it appears in iTunes, click on it from under Devices in the left hand pane.  This brings you to the Summary tab.  Locate and click on the Music tab.  What configurations do you have made from under this tab?  Is your iPod configured to sync those playlists?

  • Where can I go to get OS X Lion. I paid for it and now I can't seem to be able to download it anywhere.

    I purchased OS X Lion. It worked. I bought and installed OS X Mountain Lion. It doens't work. Its slow. And is getting slower. Takes for ever to boot up and the problems just keep coming. I have to repair permissions almost daily because Mail and Safari lock up and bounce and bounce and bounce. Have to force quit. Can't relaunch the system because everything disappears - icons, screen, everything. Sometimes I even have to just push the power button to get the thing to restart.
    I'm tired of this. I want Lion back but I can't seem to be able to download it off of the App store when I purchased it there. And funny, its on'ly one version back. You should be able to get it without having to jump through hoops.
    I hate Microsoft and I'd hate to have to move in that direction but I'm tired of the headaches I'm getting with ML. Its just not worth it.

    I have a 27" iMac. (mid 2010).
    2.93 GHz Intel Core i7
    It has 12 GB of memory with the ATI Radeon HD graphics card.
    And at present I'm updated on up OS X 10.8.3. And this is the basic minimal system. I have not put any of my software on except for my email and Safari. I loaded my bookmarks and such. Other than that. Nothing else.
    I've updated everything but iTunes. Really don't like the new iTunes so I haven't updated it to 11.02.
    I don't seem to have issues with the memory. I ran them through Tech Tool Pro and they passed. Same with the graphics card.
    This primarily seems like a software issue. OS X Lion worked great. I updated to OS X 10.8 on my MacBook Pro when Mountain Lion came out and I've had no issues on it. Runs fast and the issues I have are all on my iMac. I updated to 10.8 on my iMac in late January. Decided that enough time had passed that any major bugs would of been worked out by then and since my MacBook had no problems I figured Ok.
    Since my problems started, I've read about sleep problems but hadn't really noticed them until the last couple of weeks. My iMac does not wake up but only about 50% of the time now. Even worse since I reinstalled the OS.
    I'm just wanting to go back to Lion. Seemed to run faster. Software issues were minimal. And I didn't have to run diagostic software on a daily basis to get my computer to just start up.

    Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.
    And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

    It might be helpful if you told us exactly what the error was... If you don't give us specifics, the best you're going to get is vague responses.

    You posted in the "Using Mac App Store" forum but your profile indicates you are using an iPad so that's what I'll try helping you with.
    On the iPad tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    Then restart the iPad.  Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
    If you still can't download apps, the problem may be your Wi-Fi connection >  iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections

    I find it difficult to believe that it took you a year to realize your phone was defective.
    Restore the phone as new. Wait a couple of days before adding any apps to see if it's running ok. Then, add apps a couple at a time so that, if any of them cause issues, you'll have an idea which one.
