Is this available in the UK? I cannot get it to work/it doesn't ask me on my iPad, iPhone or Mac. It should as I have iTunes in the cloud. On my Mac it wants to download straight away, on my iPhone it says it is over 50MB (obviously it is, but if it asked me to download later I would choose that), I tried buying a couple of movies and it doesn't ask me - I really want to download later!

a) Correct. Multi-touch files (.ibooks extension) can only be created in iBooks Author, the Mac application.
b) iBooks Author is a Mac application available for free download through the UK (worldwide actually) Mac App store on your Mac 10.7.2 or better machine. The content that it creates can be saved as .ibooks formatted multi-touch books which can be viewed only on an iPad. c) iBooks 2 is an App available for iOS devices from the App store. It is available for free to all iOS users worldwide. The published .ibooks files that play back on the iPad can be sold worldwide. However, there is currently only a "Textbooks" category to place these books into on the US store.

Sorry to hear of your problem, but any hardware in a computer can fail - that includes the hard drive, the logic board, etc, etc. Fortunately, it usually doesn't happen that soon; however, I've read of hard drives failing within 6 months.
So, since you did not purchase the extended Applecare Protection Plan (3 years coverage), you will need to make a decision to repair or sell it as is. I would always purchase 3 year coverage for an all in one or a laptop because repairs are expensive and at least I'd be covered for 3 years.
We can't speculate on whether there should be a recall or not; these forums are for user to user assistance with technical problems. In your case, there is nothing we can help with since you've already gotten a diagnosis.

After the uninstall and reinstall I got an error message, that stated: The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program fo fix. then I got the message, iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (windows error 126) I have had iTunes since I purchased the iphone in 2012. I had this problem as well but found the soultion on another post from turingtest2 - it worked for me:
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selectingRun as Administrator.

Thanks petermac87...but for some reason, the only purchases showing are OS. So assuming iPhoto is in Mountain Lion, I was hoping to look under Hidden Items there as you suggested, but there is no option for that. Only option is to download Mountain Lion again, not iPhoto specifically. Any ideas welcome!

I am getting an error message "All available connections to database server are in use by other client machines. Please try again later and check the log file for error 5054" when trying to log into HRC (This user has the reporting capabilities) . I checked the log files this is what i found out
The log file stated that there were ongoing connections of HRC with the CCX (I am sure there isn't any active login to HRC)
|| When you tried to login the following error was being displayed because the maximum number of connections were reached for the server . We can see that a total number of 5 connections have been configured . ||

What is the OS version of the PC you are running and is it physical machine or virtual machine that is running the HRC client ..

We have had this "PRX5" problem with Exchange 2013 since the RTM version. We recently applied CU3, and it did not correct the problem. We have seen this problem on every Exchange 2013 we manage. They are all installations where all roles
are installed on the same Windows server, and in our case, they are all Windows virtual machines using Windows 2012 Hyper-V.
We have tried all the "this fixed it for me" solutions regarding DNS, network cards, host file entries and so forth. None of those "solutions" made any difference whatsoever. The occurrence of the temporary error PRX5 seems totally random.
About 2 out of 20 incoming mail test by Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer fail with this PRX5 error.
Most people don't ever notice the issue because remote mail servers retry the connection later. However, telephone voice mail systems that forward voice message files to email, or other such applications such as your scanner, often don't retry and
simply fail. Our phone system actually disables all further attempts to send voice mail to a particular user if the PRX5 error is returned when the email is sent by the phone system.
Is Microsoft totally oblivious to this problem?
PRX5 is a serious issue that needs an Exchange team resolution, or at least an acknowledgement that the problem actually does exist and has negative consequences for proper mail flow.

Clicked on the "download only" because I didn't have the time to install it at that point. It downloaded but didn't stop. It continued to the 'backing up your iPhone' segment then froze. I waited at least an hour with no change. Finally I unplugged my phone..iTunes wasn't responding.I rebooted my pc then tried the same thing again. Same outcome even though I let it "Back Up" for 7-8 hrs while I slept. Same Story............... iTunes 10.4.0.80 is the software I'm using. When my phone is 'plugged' in what I see on it's face is "Sync in Progress".....for hours!

Hi All, I have purchased a BBC top gear magazine subscription thru the App Store about 6 months ago. This bbc app is no longer available to download in Australia because of the Australian version of the mag now being available. Firstly the app symbol has completely disappeared from my ipad. I can still locate my original purchase in settings>newsstand and subscriptions updates are enabled. My second problem is I cannot download any new magazine editions because a message says I need to update the app. Since their is no app to update on my ipad and the app no longer exists/ is available in App Store Australia I'm kind of stuck. I think your best bet here is to contact the app developer. Sounds like you need advanced troubleshooting that someone who is a part of the app would know best how to resolve. Best of luck.
