HT5760 Can I enter a phone number to text message?

I want to send a group text but using only phone numbers. Can this be done and if so, how do I separate each phone number.

when you leave a space the os should recognize this as a new number or destination. Please note that if not all of your contacts in your group have imessenger (iphone or ipod or ipad) they will not be able to reply to everyone, you will receive a message back as a solo message from the person. but the other people in the group will not see their response.

I have a iPhone 6 and every time I click on messages a pop-up will appear saying I need to enter a phone number to be able to message. It has two options "cancel" or "settings" so I select "settings" and it takes me to my message settings and my phone number is entered there so I will re enter it and click "save" and when I go back to messages it will pop up again. Any idea how to fix It? I've done all the updates and I have restarted my phone twice.

I think I figured it out. Did everyone, by any chance, have their device previously jailbroken? Then when they backed up their apps with iCloud, iCloud saved them? Then when trying to restore to a previous backup after upgrading to IOS6 all the apps showed up but just say waiting underneath? Well the reason it keeps asking for the apple id and password is because of those apps. As I noticed, the apps that are like that, when I tap on them the same window shows up asking for my info. All I did was erase the apps that were 'waiting' that were previously downloaded from when my iPad was jailbroken and I haven't gotten the little pop up since, its associated with the apps, I noticed that, but not exactly what its reasoning behind it is, probably because it is asking for your ID in order to download it, but when it can't connect, because of it being a pirated app, the device gets confused and when isn't able to download the first time, it will try again and continuously ask for your ID in order to confirm its download.

+ sign in front of phone number in text messages

I've had a + sign show up in front of two phone numbers in my text message list; these were old texts that I had saved and I seem to remember a more recent number having the same thing happen. None of these were messages from contacts in my phone. What does this mean?

It seems that if you don't have a contact for a phone number, it will be listed in the international format which starts with a "+" sign - I just checked my iPhone 5 and it has the same situation.

TS2755 With the new IOS7 how do i tell which phone number my text messaging is being sent to? on the old system the number used to be highlighted, now nothing is highlighted and i have ended up sending texts to my friends international numbers instead ???

With IOS7 I am finding it impossible to (a) tell which number I am texting, when my contacts have multiple phone numbers, i dont know wether it si their home , monile/cell or international number... Thanks Michael. Apologies for the slow reply I was away for a bit (holiday blitz at work and visiting family madness etc.etc.) back now, I set both options you requested to "never " and retried the CMS software with no change.
I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.

I assume that you don't have a rescue email address on your account, as described on the HT5312 page that you posted from ?
If not then how are you trying to contact Support ? You are selecting the country where you and your iTunes account are on this page to contact them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 ?
When your questions have been reset use the steps half-way down the HT5312 page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use

How can I associate my Phone number to iMessage and FaceTime function?

I need help to resolve a problem that a have in my iphone (iphone 5 with IOS 6.1).
I have the iMessage and Facetime associate to my ID apple email. However a would like to associade to my phone number but I dont have da number listed in iMessage.
I've tried to enter the phone number manually on the email field in iMessage but it gives a error.
Can anyone help me?

I have this issue too. To elaborate when I go in to facetime/imessage settings and go to the section "YOU CAN BE REACHED BY FACETIME AT" it only provides email addresses. My mobile number is there but its grayed out and cant be selected. People have told me when they try to facetime me now they get a message saying I'm unavailable for facetime. I'm assuming these are people still on ios 6 that are still able to call my number which evidently doesnt work anymore??
Same applies to imessage. Texts are sent from my email address now. I dont want this! I might want to text someone and not have them know my email address. I hope this is a bug or something. Anyone know?

If you are trying to setup a charge card number on the Apple Store - make sure you are in the Correct country site - icon bottom right last time I saw it - where you can change country.

Make sure that the iPad is using the same Apple ID as your iPhone. If the phone number still doesn't appear, log out of iMessage on both devices, log back in on the iPhone, wait until it activates, then log into iMessage on the iPad with the same Apple ID.

You choose whether to see text messages in Notification Center or not. If you elect to see them, they will display the phone number (unless they are from a contact in your contacts list).
You can choose not to see them at Settings > Notification Center > Messages.
