i know my apple id, but don't remember password. my primary mail and apple ID are same so i can't access them. i don't get mail on my rescue mail, i think i forgot to verify it. so i only know my apple ID, first and last name, date of birth and answer to one security question. what can i do to access my account? please help.

If the old ID is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.

My work is giving an old imac G5 and I can't change the IP address for my home internet because its asking for a password that no one remembers Even my boss is clueless.
I tried going into Keychain Assistant, but it seemed not to help at all.
We can't even take away or add programs.
Is their anyway to manually override this??? It's getting very frustrating. I'm about to take to a mac guy and just have him wipe the harddrive/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/migration-img-not-avail.png

Did you have a rescue email address on your account ? If you did then have you checked the inbox and spam folders on that for the reset email ?
If not then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the password reset.

You can't create another account with the same email address, and all purchases are tied to the account that downloaded them - so creating a new account won't give you access to a previous account's purchases.

ICloud don't remember birthdate for password reset

So I have an iPod touch that I got for my 3 year old son about a year ago.
I must've set a bogus birthdate for his iCloud account or something because whenever I enter my, his or his mom's birthdate for the pw reset, it's always incorrect. I'm not sure what I set it to. I believe I do remember the password, but the account is now locked. I also restored it in DFU mode thinking it would solve this, so now it is stuck at the login part on the iPod.
Also, I don't know if I set an alternate email or not, because I'm not getting any.
How can I solve this without paying $29 for tech support?

However, if you're not able to receive email to your rescue email address, you may need to contact iTunes Store Support:
You'll need to contact iTunes Store support to have your questions and answers reset.
After your password, security questions and answers are reset, I'd recommend providing a different rescue email address:
You can edit or delete your rescue email address at My Apple ID. To edit your rescue email address:
Navigate to My Apple ID using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.

How does one redo a 8GB ipod? My neice has one and lock it with a password and now password dosen't work and/or she forgot it! It give message ipod is diable! connect to Itunes! I've done that and the device doesn't showup in itunes, keep getting a message that password is needed! But there no input for that on the phone either! So I thought I would just dump and reformat and reinstall software, but I'm using windows and the device dosen't show up! Anyone!!!!! got a answer!

You can't. Purchases cannot be transferred from one Apple iD to another.
You will have to repurchase the apps using your new Apple ID.
