I reset it again and it won't work in iTunes.. I have downloaded several apps before but now it just keeps saying retry.....but strangely my new password got me into this forum site? Help..have I done something in settings?

Did you try the one working module in both ram slots? If it worked in both slots then the other module is faulty. If the known good module didn't work in both slots then try the other module in both slots. By a process of trial and error you'll be able to determine if you've just got a bad module or a failed ram slot.

Could be the charger, cable or iPad. Plug the USB cable into your computer. It may say "Not Charging", however, it is charging slowly and will verify that the cable is good.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)

Yup, your question and Diane's answer helped me also. Tho' I had had problems before getting into the iTunes store I always managed to find a way. Today they had me blocked cold with the "Update to 10" advert no matter what I did. Other questioners are being told, incorrectly as it turns out, that they have to update their OS to accomodate iTunes 10 and upgrade to iTunes 10. I did the download which did not take up much more room on my crowded old hard drive and now I'm back in business.

Help with HashMap - what am I doing wrong?!?!

I'm hoping to create multiple instances of an object and identify each one differently. On an earlier thread, someone recommended I use a hashmap to do this. I'm trying but failing. The following code is intended to allow me to ask for 1 and get apple and ask for 2 and get banana. Instead, when I ask for either I get banana, which is making me think that I'm just rewriting over my object and putting two of the same instances in the hashmap.

I lost all my contacts for the FOURTH time this week, but they're still there in "Messages." Help please I'm tired of going to Verizon to get it fixed.

Please help. I recently went into my phone to find out that when I open contacts, there's none there. I've even checked the "Groups" tab and under the heading "On my iPhone" there is nothing there.
The weird thing is, when I go into messages, they're all still there along with their names, but they're not in the contacts.

There is no way to bypass activation lock. Only the owner of the account it's locked with can remove the lock.

How are you generating the PDF file? Are you zipping (compressing) the file before sending it? Is Mail configured to send Windows-friendly files?
If you are using Word to generate the PDF file, then try instead to use the Word Print dialog. Click on the PDF dropdown menu in the lower left corner and select the option to Save as PDF.... You can save the output to the Desktop or any location your prefer. Use that document to send to others via email, but remember to compress the file first.

Run Time Machine from the menu bar.

You must initiallly activate iCloud from an IOS device or a Mac. You cannot inititally activated from a PC.
