I can not remember my code to unlock my phone. In itunes it tells me to turn off "locate my iphone". How do I turn that off?
Is Find My Phone turned on?
You'll have to login to iCloud.com, from any computer, locate, then erase your phone. Once done, restore from backup, if you have one.
That's the only way for you to fix this.

Thanks for your prompt response, however I have first seen it now. I have placed an active SIM card in the iPhone turned it off and on. It now says SIM locked, please write access code. The problem is I don't remember the password. When I connect it to iTunes it tell me that I have to write the password before it can be used with iTunes...... Do you have any good ideas? I lost my iPhone 4 in Brussels last week. It was in airplane mode when lost. I also had a code to unlock the phone. The phone was off when lost. My question is: Can a person access my personal data on the phone? Can they take the chip out and place it into another iPhone and access the personal info on the chip or is the personal data on the phone itself and could they put a new chip in and access the data?
I have Find my iPhone App, but it says that it is offine.
I've checked all week and it is offline.
I clicked on erase iphone when phone accesses the internet on the Find my iPhone App.

My iPhone 4 screen stopped working. The phone is still on but the screen is not working at all, it is juts black. I was told restoring my phone might solve this problem so i plugged it into iTunes. When I click on the restore iPhone button a message popped up saying I needed to turn off 'find my iPhone' in phone settings for the restore to be go ahead. Problem is I cant access my phone!
I went onto my cloud account to see if i could do it from here but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Any ideas?From your iCloud account, you can go to Find My Phone and remove the iPhone from your devices list which will release it, or you could do a remote erase of the iPhone from iCloud.

When is Apple going to release an update to our software that will eliminate a thiefs ability once the phone is stolen to turn off the find my phone option without first entering the security code? I think that this would solve a ton of issues.

I've never seen this issue, and I handle many iPads, of all versions. WiFi issues are generally local to the WiFi router - they are not all of the same quality, range, immunity to interference, etc. You have distance, building construction, and the biggie - interference.
At home, I use Apple routers, and have no issues with any of my WiFi enabled devices, computers, mobile devices, etc - even the lowly PeeCees. I have locations where I have Juniper Networks, as well as Aruba, and a few Netgears - all of them work as they should.
The cheaper routers, Linksys, D-Link, Seimens home units, and many other no name devices have caused issues of various kinds, and even connectivity.
I have no idea what Starbucks uses, but I always have a good connection, and I go there nearly every morning and get some work done, as well as play.
You could try changing channels, 2.4 to 5 Gigs, changing locations of the router. I have had to do all of these at one time or another over the many years that I have been a Network Engineer.

How do I set/reset my passcode on my iPhone 6 Plus?
I am locked out and don't have a passcode (at least I don't recall setting one)
I can't restore from backup to reset my pC because I get a prompt that I need to turn off "Find my phone" to restore.

I tried just leaving the player in the paused/sleep mode instead of turning it off (someone said it will stay on the song you were just listening to--but no). Still goes back to nowhere (now playing = random and shuffle). I've read that this is a serious problem with the 6th gen. I don't use or like the shuffle feature. I use a sort list in my songlists to play in the order I want. I just want the player to remember which song I left off on and pick it back up from there when I get back to it. I have a 5th gen nano and 2 classics and they work great at going right back to where you left off. Seems like a no brainer to have it remember which song you were on in a songlist and not go back to a random shuffle (now playing) and hear the same song over. Anyone know any tricks to resolve this?

RobNo, the app does not have to completely restart. It gets shifted in its open state into storage. Similar to how a computer uses the hard disk when it has insufficient memory.
What complicates things is that sometimes memory does not get returned for reuse when you close an app. Thus yo should periodically double click the Home button and "delete" unnecessary apps from the multitasking dock and power off and then back on the iPod. -
I can not be heard when i answer the phone

CAN NOT GET MAIL. TURNED OFF IPAD . RESTARTED. VERIFIED PROVIDER SETTINGS. DOES NOT WORK. IF I CANCEL ACCOUNT AND OPEN NEW ONE WILL I LOOSE PREVIOUS MAIL.
I've removed my yahoo account several times. All it does is delete the info off my iPad and doesn't touch the account itself. So I can go back in, re-add the account and then redownload my mail again. I haven't had to change my passwords or anything.
You might look on sympatico's site, see if they have any troubleshooting specific to iPads. -
My iPhone 4 siezed/froze during an upgrade. How can I back up and then reset?
I'm fairly certain this is expected behavior if you have a CDMA carrier like Verizon or Sprint. The phone cannot handle being on a call and using data to receive messages or email.
Someone else may be able to further clarify.
