HT5824 My pictures on my phone 5 are no longer uploading to icloud on my PC.

I am having problems viewing my photos on icloud. When logging into icloud there is no longer an icome for photos. My pc no longer connects to my phone when charging. When taking my phone to the apple store they didn't know what was wrong. Since I had a PC and not a Mac they weren't very helpful or seemed to care about my issue. They suggest I call into apple. Since I've had my phone longer than a year they want to charge me for the call.
Has anyone had these problems before? Most importantly does anyone have any suggestions for me to get my photos off my camera?

I experienced this problem recently but was able to solve it by signing out of, then back into Photo Stream on the computer. This will temporarily remove your photos, but once you get signed back in, it will repopulate the photos. Be sure you have updated to the latest version as well.

Phone numbers are no longer showing up in my messages and on my emails as links so that I can call the number directly.

I too am having the same problem, and use the *228 then killing all my open apps solution to bring my numbers back to the correct format. However, as just a one time fix, I keep on getting the same problem again after a few weeks, and last week, after a few days of doing the *228 fix. Does anyone know what is causing this problem on Verizon iPhones? As a point of information, I was previously on AT&T with my iPhones until my wife transferrred me over to Verizon (on her business account because she wanted to surprise me with a new iPhone 4S).

I recommend that you attempt to boot into Safe Mode:

It may take you multiple attempts to get the ESC key sequence (press/release/hold) correct, so be patient. When successfully into Safe Mode, see what happens.
If the behavior ceases, then think carefully...what happened just before this behavior started? A new app? An update? A Theme? Something else? Think carefully as the smallest change could be causal...and attempt to undo whatever that was.
But if the behavior continues in Safe Mode, then you may need to consider more drastic actions -- WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload, and the "Bare Bones" OS Reload Process. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup to your PC...please review the Backup link in my auto-sig on this post for instructions.

Turned on my Mac Pro a few minutes ago and I got the following "POP-UP" message.
" Your Apple ID and phone number are now being used for iCloud on a new iPhone. " ( my iPhone is not new. )
" If you recently signed into "xxxxx iPhone" you can ignore this notification."
On the bottom of this pop-up window is an "OK" button. Well it's NOT "OK" No option is offered if it is not "OK".
I have made no changes to my iPhone whatsoever. Just normal use today. In my iCloud settings everything is turned off except sharing Contacts.
I'd suggest you log on to iCloud.com with your Apple ID, and then go to Settings and look in the "My Devices" settings for anything you don't recognize.
I just did this. All of the devices are iPhones, iPads, and Macintoshes that I own and am familiar with.

There are a couple of possibilities that may apply to the email you have received regarding your Apple ID. The first is that the email may be a legitimate warning that your Apple ID has been compromised. For this reason I would suggest that you change the password to your Apple ID as soon as possible. Use the instructions on this page -

In order to increase security for your Apple ID you may want to set up and use two-step verification. See this article for information about it -

The second possibilty is that the email is an attempt at "phishing" in order to get you to reveal personal information. Typically this is done with an email that looks like it comes from an official source but has links to web pages that, while they may look like they are real, may actually be gathering your information for use by others. It will only sync what you have selected to sync.
Your subject question and the question in the body is not the same. Which is your question?
Deleting on iPhone has no effect on your computer.

HT203565 contacts on my iPad are not being uploaded to iCloud

I have synced my iPad with my Yahoo account. It has downloaded all of the contacts located there. However:
1- The Yahoo sync did NOT include any group information. I.e it downloaded all individual contacts, but none of the groups which existed.
2- These contacts are visible on my iPad, but they are not being uploaded to iCloud when my iPad syncs with the cloud.
The original problem is - how do I get the Groups from my Yahoo account downloaded to the iPad.
"Obviously" If I could get the Yahoo contacts uploaded to iCloud, I could create the groups there. (Which I can do easily enough), but I cannot get the contacts into t he groups.

Check the following:
From your Home screen, tap Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream, and make sure the slider is set to the ON position. If grayed out, check Restrictions in Settings>General.
From the Home screen, tap Settings > Wi-Fi, make sure the slider is set to ON, and that your device is connected to a wireless network.
Ensure that Camera app is closed on the device where you took the photo. Photo Stream will not upload photos from an iOS device until the Camera app is closed.
Ensure your iOS device has not fallen below 20% battery power. To preserve battery life, Photo Stream downloading and uploading are disabled when the battery reaches this threshold. Downloading and uploading will resume once you charge your device, and the battery charge is greater than 20%.
Note that when photo stream is turned on, only pictures taken from that point on will go to the stream, not existing photos. For those, sync them to a computer using itunes and USB cable.

My contact phone numbers are no longer formatted and texts come from numbers instead of people. What gives?

All of a sudden all of my contacts as displayed on my iPhone have lost their formatting. So the numbers all read as 1234567890 instead of (123) 456-7890. And, what's worse, is when I go to the texting app, all of my texts are still there, but instead of showing me the contact name, all I see are the unformatted phone numbers of where they came from.
Any ideas on why? It's a Verizon iPhone 4S. This lack of formatting is not showing up on my Mac nor my iPad. Would a re-sync fix this? I'd hate to have a re-sync screw up the info on my computer and pad, though...

If I deleted pix from my iphone 4s, sent them to icloud, recovered them when I got new iphone 5s, deleted them off of 5s onto internet site, but have now lost them off of the internet site, are my pix still in the icloud?

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. If they were in the camera roll on your 4s when you last backed it up, restoring the backup would recover them.

The folders under iCloud Drive are not being uploaded to iCloud

I seem to read similar problem reports in this group but I want to make sure that indeed it is the same problem I am having. I moved all my folders to iCloud Drive some weeks ago and they were being uploaded to the cloud since then. In total I have 150 gigabytes of folders and about 100 are uploaded to the cloud which I can see in the settings of iCloud under system preferences. I realise that during the last week nothing is being uploaded anymore. There is still about 50 gigabyte of files that need to be uploaded automatically but nothing happens. I do not understand how the upload process works. What determines when the upload takes place? What determines how much of my files will be uploaded today and then the next day: because sometimes the upload used to take place the whole day while at other days only for a few hours. I definitely need a clarification here. Could some please respond?

New songs are not being uploaded to icloud

iTunes 10.7 - I just noticed today that new songs I added to my iTunes are not being automatically uploaded to the cloud. This has worked fine ever since I subscribed to match. I even bought an album yesterday that went to the cloud fine. I tried signing out and signing back in, updating my match, purchasing a song from itunes..nothing is working.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Why do my phone's photos not get uploaded to icloud drive automatically?

For e.g when i used windows phone, the moment i took a photo it used to get uploaded to skydrive and i could see it on my PC.
Apple doesn't have a similar service?
