I thought I was going to like this new apple update, but I cant get 7 on my ipod so thanks alot... as for the update of Itunes I thought the radio was going to be cool, but guess not it turned off on me and will not start back............. IDK what to do bout the radio thing.. pls help..........

I had hopes Adobe would deliver that feature in this version.
That they didn't that might mean it only produces good results on images specially prepared for demonstration.

Each download takes over a minute and I have 2000 songs! How can I just listen to my music again without downloading each and every song??? BTW, I purchased the iPhone 5S hoping that this issue would be solved with more memory - it's not. At this point I just want to remove the whole cloud-thing from my phone and go back to only having the songs on one device, no download required except the original iTunes purchase. How do I do this???

Welcome to the Apple Community.
It sounds as though you misunderstood the purpose of iTunes Match. You still need to have the content on the device to play it.
However it's effectively no different than before in that you keep your most played content on your phone but are able to download stuff you rarely play should you ever wish to.
There's no value whatsoever in iTunes Match unless your library doesn't fit on your phone.

You probably cannot get a refund, since as RG said the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, something more likely if the app does not perform as advertised.

I fought this problem for WEEKS with no success. iTunes on Windows 7 x64. I tried running it as Administrator. I tried every fix I could find here and on Youtube and nothing. Any time I was in iTunes and switched focus to another Window like Outlook or something it would pop this error message up again. I reinstalled iTunes from scratch. This did NOT fix it, but it gave me a clue. I figured it had to be my iTunes library which is stored on an external HD.
After poking around in the library for a while I thought it might be a file that had been set to Read Only so I did an "attrib -r e:\itunes /s" to clear all of them all. This wasn't the problem but it alerted me to a file it couldn't clear. The file was iT.tmp and it couln't clear that because the file was corrupt. I deleted it but that still didn't fix it.
I finally did a "chkdsk e:\itunes /f" and let it run through. It found the error in iT.tmp, fixed it and now iTunes works fine again.

Nothing. It's nothing to do with PSE; this is a limitation of Photos, as is the loss of being able to use an external editor without exporting copies of your images.

I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.
There are a number of toolbars which won't work with Firefox 4 anymore due to the enhanced protection mechanisms in the browser.

I'm sure u've heard.. whatsapp stopped working on anything below ios 4.3.1. ... this is so not good. for me it stopped working about 6 hours ago. it's most likely not even your fault, but it does fall back on apple. You are not addressing Apple here at all.
We are all iphone suers just like you.
The app does not simply stop working.
Whatsapp updated their app. When they did, they made it compatible with ios 4.3 or later.
If you have an iphone 3gs or later, simply update your ios.
If you have iphone 3g, you should not update your app. If you do not update the app, then you can still use it.
If this causes you to change phones, then go right ahead. Seems a very small issue to me, as this is not unusual with any device, Apple or not.

I remember seeing a video demonstrating a new process of creating a sharp image. Maybe this was for some other program but I thought it was Photoshop.

When I updated to ios 5 I was forced to create a new Apple ID. Now my iTunes sync does not work properly. Why did it do this and is there a way to fix it?

I already had an iTunes account when I pushed the iPhone. After upgrading the OS to 5.0.1, I kept receiving an error message saying that my AppleID was invalid, even though it worked perfectly within iTunes on my PC. It seemed to want my email address as my "new" AppleID so I entered that, but it created a second ID. It seems my cloud account and the "phone" iTunes is attached to the newer ID and my "PC" iTunes account is attached to the older ID.
Now, when I try to sync iTunes, I don't see all of the songs I purchased, some sync and others appear to sync but are grayed out with the sync icon next to the title. The songs are still on my phone, but not in my iTunes library.
Is there any way to fix this and consolidate the accounts? Also, why did the upgrade force me to create a new AppleID? I haven't upgraded to the 4 or 5 phone because I'm afraid this is going to happen again and I'll have a third AppleID to contend with.

There is no way to consolidate iTunes accounts.
Setting up an iPhone has never required creation of a new Apple ID.
You've apparently purchased content with both Apple ID's. Sign into the device with the correct Apple ID and sync the content.

Is it best to close all apps, install the update, turn the computer off, turn it on and hold down the shift key until the gear and progress bar are showing, when this is finished, do a restart of the computer. I hav always wondered the best way (if there is a best way) to update to a newer version of a browser so you avoid potential problems. Is there a Support Article that goes over installing and updating to a newer version of one's browser, in this case Safari?

The following may or may not apply to Lion:
Repairing permissions is important, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.
Go to Disk Utility (this is in your Utilities Folder in your Application folder) and click on the icon of your hard disk (not the one with all the numbers).
In First Aid, click on Repair Permissions.
This only takes a minute or two in Tiger, but much longer in Later versions of OS X.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

I dont like the new apple maps i cant get the directions i need

I need to get transit directions constantly. I'm moving to NYC and don't know my way around the city when I was going up to visit I loved the Google maps and the ability to get transit directions and now I cant do that I really thing apple took away something's that people use and I cant get walking directions which once again I used that constantly too. Anyone have any app suggestions for me?

iWeb and iDVD have been discontinued by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD.
On June 30, 2012 MobileMe will be shutdown. HOWEVER, iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:
Features No Longer Available Once MobileMe is Discontinued:
◼ Password protection
◼ Blog and photo comments
◼ Blog search
◼ Hit counter
◼ MobileMe Gallery
All of these features can be replaced with 3rd party options.
Currently if the site is published directly from iWeb to the 3rd party server the RSS feed and slideshow subscription features will work. However, if the site is first published to a folder on the hard drive and then uploaded to the sever with a 3rd party FTP client those two features will be broken.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone.
