HT6010 Certificates of ios 7.0.3

Under settings/general/about there is a certificate called Trust Store 2013080500.... I don't think it's on anyone else's phone cuz I've asked a couple people.  Underneath that there is an option that says learn more about certificates and when I click it the first page that shows up disappears I've took a couple screenshots of it looks very strange

I am currently experiencing the same problem. Are you also unable to download or update apps currently? I signed out of my App Store ID and attempted to sign back in as a fix. Only to learn I can no longer sign into my App Store ID. iMessage and web browsing are working fine, so it isn't an Internet connection problem. The usual fix I have been seeing is to restart your device as well as your router. Unfortunately I am traveling abroad and the router is not mine to restart. Every other fix posted I have tried, except the ones involving the device being plugged into a computer because I don't have one available. This is my travel computer...

    1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

  • How to install self-signed certificate with iOS 4?

I've been trying to install a self-signed certificate in iOS 4 with no avail. I have a webserver at home in which I connect to via SSL using a self-signed cert. It used to work in 3.1.3; it would kick out a dialog, but you were able to continue to the page. Now with iOS 4, that is no longer the case, I am unable to view the site.
I have tried several things. I have tried emailing the cert. to myself and installing it. I get it installed but says it's untrusted and am not able to view the site. I have tried converting my .pem that is on my server to .p12 and that didn't work. I tried going to the site in Safari on my Mac and adding the cert. to the keychain and then syncing; that didn't work. I tried taking that cert. in the keychain, making sure it was trusted, exporting it to .cer and adding that to a configuration profile I created in the iPhone Configuration Utility.. that did not work despite the fact that it showed it as trusted. Am I doing something wrong or missing something here?

  • HT5012 How can you add a self signed CA Certificate to iOS 8?

How Can I add a self signed CA Certificate to an iPad with iOS 8.1?

I don’t think that I can help you but I am very interested in your question. Perhaps you have seen information about a related problem…
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6590335
One way to install the self-signed CA certificate is to export it to a .CER file, email it to the iOS 8 device, open the attachment and process it. My guess is that the certificate will be installed (check the resulting profile) but due to an iOS 8 bug it will be ineffective.
Or, you could send a signed email from the email account for the CA. Open the email on the iOS 8 device and process it.
I assume your goal is for certificates issued by the CA to be automatically trusted on the iOS 8 device. Good luck with that.
The method I used was to send a .CER file. The CA certificate showed up as a profile. However, I do not get automatic trusting of certificates issued by the CA.

  • Testing adobe air applications with fake apple certificate in iOS simulator running in a hackintosh

I can compile an Adobe Air application on windows with a fake apple certificate. Can I test this application in iOS Simulator running on a hackintosh? Or is the simulator blocking testing of IPA outside from XCode ie: it's not a standalone simulator for IPA files. Are there any affordable web service for testing IPA with a true emulator or real device? I'm asking this because Flash Builder doesn't provide a true simulator, it lacks essential API functions such as NativeWindow.

    Hello,

Now, while trying to use it in my mobile application, calling the Constructor of my SWC interface > call initNativeExtension() I get an:

It seems that my code cannot load the ANE because I cannot instatiate the extension object.

  • Deleting Expired certificates from IOS CA

I have been looking at how to delete expired certificates from an IOS CA. I have seen the command "crypto pki server trim" but this command appears to only apply to certificates in the CRL list. Does anyone know if there is a similar command to just delete expired certificates rather than ones that have been revoked first? It would be a hassle to have to manually go through each one.

    Hi Yerko,
Yes you can.  Please have a look at the below link:

  • Mobile safari no longer able to authenticate with client certificate in ios 5...

was working in 4.3.5 on iPad, but no more. Imported the cert with ipcu but Safari  seems to not recognize that there is a cert installed. All certs are using sha1

Some additional info - the imported certificate works fine for Activesync, VPN, and WiFi, so I know it is installed correctly.  When connecting to a web server that requires the certificate, the following is logged in the IPCU console:
    MobileSafari[368] <Warning>: no itentities, but we have a challenge <NSURLAuthenticationChallenge: 0x2eeea0>
So to me, it looks like the Web server is requesting the client certificate, but mobilesafari does not see the identity certificate I imported.

  • Anyone know how to install the SAP/SDN SSO certificate on iOS device?

    Hi all,
I tried to benefit from Single Sign-On to the various SAP and SDN site on my iPad/iPhone by using the client certificate I already use in my desktop browser, but I haven't had any success using it so far...
I emailed the certificate to my iPad, and by tapping on the attachment it got (properly?) installed, i.e. at least it is visible under Settings > General > Profile
However, when navigating to SDN and choosing 'Certificate Logon', it seems to ignore any certificate I have stored and prompting me the username/password logon page...
Has anyone been able to use SSO using the certificate? I'm quite curious to know how I could achieve this.
    Best regards,

    Good question!
Whenever I attempt to use the SSO sign on to the forums, my Safari browser crashes.  I do have the Apple iPhone Configuration utility software which allows for companies to deploy certificates and other various items to its users. (free from the apple site)  What I see when I try to apply the cert for this site is, the private key is marked "unexportable".  Therefore I cannot apply that certificate to the device in its entirety.
I currently run the iPhone 4 with 4.0.1 software (I never update right away)

  • IOS certificate name is wrong

When creating a new certificate for iOS development, the name that is being used is not mine. I would expect to see "Bob Smith" in the name field when creating a development certificate, but instead I see "Bob Jones" where Jones is the name of another person in the group. I am using a brand new computer that Mr. Jones has never touched. Anyone know where the name comes from when requesting a certificate and why it wouldn't be my own?

Updated the Apple ID, inputting the same values that were in there and it looks to have resolved the name problem.

  • My iOS Distribution certificate was revoked while my app is waiting for review.

I submitted my first app for review on 4/17/2014 - about a week ago.  I just received an email from Apple (portion pasted below):
Your iOS Distribution certificate has been revoked.
You have revoked your certificate, so it is no longer valid.
    Certificate: iOS Distribution
Any provisioning profiles that include this certificate are no longer valid and must be regenerated for future use.
In iTunes Connect, my app is still listed as "Waiting for Review" - since my iOS Distribution certificate was revoked, will this affect the submission process?
In the Developer Portal I still have a development and distribution certificate (names iOS Development and iOS Distribution) under iOS certificates. I believe I may have accidently created multiple distribution certificates since I was a little confused about the submission process (and ended up deleting one of them). I have only one Distribution Provisioning Profile that is listed as Invalid. Should I go ahead and make a new distribution provisioning profile? Will this affect the submission process? Sorry if these seem like trivial questions, but i'm still new to the app submission process.

Status is also "waiting for review" along with a yellow circle. the binary details all look ok including the .zip file i uploaded. now that i think about it, maybe the error messages were in response to my second upload. because i thought the first one failed, but now I see the .zip is the proper name.

  • Go Daddy Certificate on ISE Repeat accept certificate on Windows 7/8/8.1

We have moved from a self signed certificate to a Go Daddy certificate to avoid trust issues around self signed certificates.  IOS devices continue to work fine, but Windows devices have to accept the certificate trust many times.  Sometimes it takes 4-6 times clicking connect while on some machines it takes 10-14 times of clicking connect when it prompts you to verify the certificate.  Sometimes it will never connect and you have click terminate once and then click connect a few times.  What is the deal?  This happens equally on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 machines when connecting to the ISE SSID the first time.  This also only happens when using the Microsoft PEAP.  On my machine, I have an Intel WIFI card so I have the option of using Intel control and Intel PEAP instead of Microsoft.  This works fine.  Something to do with the Microsoft supplicant and ISE on this trust?  Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?  The system does work.  It is just annoying for low end users who don't understand to just keep clicking connect...windows will believe you eventually.
More information: I have also installed the provided Go Daddy intermediate cert in Intermediate Certification Authorities and in Trusted Root Certification Authorities.  Neither help the process.

#8 The Start Menu and User Interface
    1. The Start Menu
Allow Drag and Drop from the left list to the right pinned icons. Update build 10041, Microsoft have done this.
The Start menu is bloated with Metro Apps, making it more cumbersome to find useful installed programs. Example of Start Menu to the left bloated with Metro Apps.
These should all be in a Windows Apps folder similar to all the (more useful) items in the Windows Accessories folder.
    2. Windows and X Menu (Right Click Start)
Please add your votes to my Windows UserVoice suggestion here.
Add the following to the “Windows and X” menu:
    Windows Defender
    Windows Defender Offline
    Devices and Printers
    .iso to Bootable USB Utility
"Settings" → This definitely has to be here
Make the Windows and X Menu look like part of Windows 10.
    3. Windows Defender
Add it to the Windows and X Menu as described above and also add right click context menus like Microsoft Security Essentials had:
    4. Minor Feedback
I'm not a great fan of the new icons, the folders are too bright and it looks like they have been drawn in Microsoft paint. The Recycle bin particularly looks terrible.

  • Director 12 won't publish an iOS app

It was working fine (if lots of bugs appearing on the iPad) and then the certificate ran out.
I updated the keychain cert and the provisioning file and now it won't publish the .ipa file.
    Anyone struck this?

There are other issues involving certificates...someone recommended checking the Keychain to make sure there are no duplicate certificates. Also suggested checking to see if there are any certificates in "root", because they should be in "login".
The reason I suspected the codesign phase in the IPA publishing sequence is because Director would progress with the process up until about 99% completion. With the Keychain "locked," the system gives the message asking for codesign permission. That, appearing at the very end of the publishing process, gave me some sort of clue but I kept thinking the certificates were mismatched when they were actually just fine.
It was only when I had the console utility running to see what was going on that I saw the reference to the Xcode path. I had already repeatedly deleted and reinstalled certificates. In my case the failure was because Director couldn't find the Xcode /Developer folder, wherein, I suppose, dwell the Xcode command line tools Director needs to finish the job.
Verbose error messages from Director during the IPA publishing process would be helpful to say the least. There are several places where publishing the IPA can fail.
Something occurs to me...forgive me if this is too obvious a question...but are you using certificates for iOS publishing or are you using certificates for OSX applications? They have to be iOS certificates and provisioning profiles. I assume that is what you have done but I bring it up just in case others may be trying to sign iOS apps with Mac development certificates. I confess that I am not an expert in these matters...
Another thing is to make sure there is an Apple Intermediate certificate in the Keychain. More detail here, near the bottom of the page.

According to manual instructions: Submit a client CSR to Novell NPNS Portal and generate the required NPNS certificates.
My question is: Can we generate the NPNS certificates without using Novell Portal? Can we use openssl commands or other utilities to generate the same certificates?

  • Certificates disappear after reload ?

I do wonder if this is the right behaviour of the router. If I reload my Cisco 3620 IOS VPN Server, both CA and router's itself certificates are gone. Need to do the procedure (crypto ca authenticate ..., crypto ca enroll ...) to get the certificates. IOS version:
IOS (tm) 3600 Software (C3620-IK9O3S3-M), Version 12.2(13)T5, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)
    System image file is "flash:c3620-ik9o3s3-mz.122-13.T5.bin"
    Any answer ?

Be aware that the certificates and the revocation list when used can be a memory problem for the router. Normally certificates and CRLs are stored locally in the router's NVRAM, and each certificate and CRL uses a moderate amount of memory. But it can happen that the router lacks memory space and will not store the information in NVRAM. Hence, when rebooting the router, the some certificate and some revocation lists could be lost. Please take a look at :
    http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/secur_c/scprt4/scdinter.htm#xtocid391213
You can configure the router not to store CRLs and Certificates on the router but rather to query the CA when required, there by freeing the space in the NVRAM.
