Today I bought a brand new iPad mini 2, 32 gb. First, I backed up my old ipad mini to my hard drive. Then, I updated iTunes to the newest version. Then, I plugged in the new iPad mini, went through the set up, iTunes was working fine. I registered the iPad, then it suggested i update the iOS on the iPad. This is where things went south. After a few minutes, it stated "cannot update iOS 7 at this time" or something to that effect. Since that point, iTunes will not recognize the iPad. The iPad shows the "connect to iTunes" screen. When I plug it in, I hear the tone suggesting a new device is connected, but nothing happens. I've tried it in DFU mode, no results. I've tried putting it in recovery mode, nothing happens, just the same screen. I've uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it, following every step suggested through this site/apple support. I even uninstalled and installed an older version of iTunes (10.7) but same result. I've followed all troubleshooting steps, and nothing is working, so please don't suggest the same olf "iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows" page.
What should I do? Do I have to take this to the geniuses at the store? Will they even be able to help without having access to my computer?iPad not appearing in iTunes

Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
If you've used some progam with your iPod that wasn't made by Apple, it might have modified the host file. -

I have this Error when I am trying to sign my applet, after execut this command :
jarsigner -verify -verbose -certs test.jar
jarsigner: java.lang.SecurityException: invalid SHA1 signature file digest for classe/JDBC_SQL.class
And for your information, that I had add the JDBC_SQL.class to the jar file (test.jar) because I made some change to the file JDBC_SQL.java
so please if you know what can I do to resolve my problem

rania +ahh, here is a problem. u made changes to the JDBC_SQL.java and packed the jar file. u have to sign the jar file again.

Errors when applying sql expression on filter, please help

I was trying to put a filter on the date column and filter between timestampadd(sql_tsi_day,-31,current_date) and current_date
I was successfully able to define both field on sql expression of the filter and I selected "is between"
However when I run reports it returns the following errors:
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 22024] A comparison is being carried out between non-compatible types. (HY000)

When I using the same timestamp expression on the column formula and run report without filters, the report will return the correct date however though

I believe it must be something with the essbase that is not serving OBIEE well. Because I tried the same filter on a different environment not having essbase, it return me the right results..

i would really appreciate your help.
I am wanting to download the january update. So far i installed itunes 7.6 and downloaded the 1.1.3 update without any problems. I seem to be having difficulty installing the 1.1.3 update onto my ipod as it just says something along the lines of couldnt update ipod error 1602. Ive had a bit of a search on this discussion board and realise ppl have been posting a few strange ways to overcome this, with varyingly successful results. Primarily they involve removing all itunes programs and/or restoring ipod. Is this what i should do?? If i am to do this does this mean that i loose all of the content on my ipod?? will i loose all of my songs in itunes? or will everything be exactley the same??

Did you fully remove iTunes and the Apple Mobile Device Support as per the instructions above. A simply re-install may not replace all the components required.

Detla Update Error, Last update is not repeatable. Please Help!

I would greatly appreciate any help with this problem.
We have a daily delta update going in from R/3 to SEM Production (bw 3.1 bc 3.3). for business consolidation purposes.
R/3 --- 0FIGL_O07 (ODS) --- ZBW_BCS (Custom Cube).
The delta request failed and became red. Subsequently the following day the same thing happened. There are no error dumps.
The thing that gets me is normally our delta updates have about 200,000 records per update, the 2 that failed have 17 million each!
When I do to the first failed request and check the details section Under Transfer (IDOCS and TRFC) it says data package xxx sent but not arrived.
What is confusing is there is nothing to warrant a jump in no. or recs from 200k to 17mil.
When I try to do an immediate request of detla it says cannot do it as last delta update still running.
Please advise

This is exact steps I followed.
1.) There were 2 red requests in the ODS with the error message (given above).
2.) I tried to force the first one green which started a batch job that got cancelled.
3.) I informed Basis as per Dinesh's advice and extended tablespace.
4.) I re-activated the request.
Currently there is another batch job running at the moment.
What I would like to know is, is it unusual for a delta update to contain 600,000 records today and say the update does not run for over a month and then contain 17 mil records ?
I will come back on the completion of the job once done.

Multiple errors when opening my project file. Please help!
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I hope someone can help me with a problem I'm having with opening a specific .aep.
My project crashed. I tried reopening it, but from then I've been getting the following error messages. While restarting my system or AE usually helps, this time the project wouldn't reopen no matter how I approached this.
Steps I've taken so far:
-Restarting my computer.
-Restarting After Effects
-Importing the .aep file into AfterEffects
-Opening the file on a different computer.
-Trashing preferences and reopening the Project in AfterEffects.
-Opening one of my 5 at a 15 minute interval generated Auto-save files.
All result in the same error.
Please see attached images to see the error I'm getting.
The final message can't be clicked away and when I click the exit button at the top right of the application the application crashes and prompts me with a default windows error screen.

QuickTime 7.7.4Solved!! I moved the two plug-ins that were giving me an error and tried to reopen the project. This time I could reopen it.
Saving the file under a different name now worked and I could continue working on the project. However the composition containing the rotoscoped footage got lost in the process. I just redid this part and rendered the rotoscoped footage as a separate RGBA quicktime to prevent the same thing from happening.
So happy 50 hours of work were still alive

So I just bought my M4 15 days ago and last night suddenly it started to turn off itself. When I turn it on, it turn on but not completely turn on. It just turn on the loading part wave. But vibrates from all messages and chats still comes and I can't turn it off again, it just turn off itself when it runs out of the battery... I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..
Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

i would like to know how to get all apps back , also to get the other icloud account off my iphone ?
If you restored the backup from iCloud, it will automatically re-download all your apps for you on its own.
If you restored the backup from iTunes, you have to manually download all the apps back from the AppStore.
Never heard of such issue with iCloud before but you can sign out of all iCloud account starting with,
Settings>iCloud
Settings>Messages>iMessage
Settings>Facetime
Settings>iTunes & AppStore
Settings>Game Center
Turn off home sharing on your phone if its on. Then sign in back to each one of them with your apple account. -
Error when updating Playbook OS version via Blackberry Desktop Manager

I have a batch of old playbooks which having the stack charging issue, but I found that I can update the OS to the newest version (2.1.0.1917) via Blackberry Desktop Manager, then the charging algorithm will be changed to the updated one and go over this dead battery issue. I was able to do so successfully in the past week smoothly on several devices.
But since this Monday, the Desktop Manager is saying "An updated Blackberry Desktop Software component must be installed before you can continue" when downloading the Desktop software and will appear "There was an error updating your software, an error has occurred while downloading the Blackberry Desktop Software.Please try again." and preventing the process. Seems there are some change on the server side starting this week which has caused this problem, but there's no error code to locate the exact issue.
I tried on 2 different computers as well as completed uninstalling and re-installing the Desktop manager, also tried to disable the automatic update as been advised in some threads. So no clue how to deal with it for now. It will be highly appreciate if some one can share some idea.

First I would like you to do a Back Up of your PlayBook using your computer and BlackBerry Desktop Software.
This can be downloaded for free from http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
After the Back Up is complete I need you to unplug your PlayBook and then push and hold down the Power Button until the unit Force Powers Off.

I am loading hierarchy data using Info pac into 0FUNDS_CTR . I have selected a hierarchy under hierarchy selections tab in the Info pac .
All Partner profiles in WE20 seems OK . But When I loaded data , throwing errrr message as below

Check the IDocs in Source System . You do this using the extraction monitor.
Error handling:
How you resolve the errors depends on the error message you get.
When I checked in TC WE05 says that IDoc: 0000000000355113 Status: Error during syntax check of IDoc (outbound) with status 26 .
Please advice .

Actually we will monitor idoc status in BD87 in SAP BI As well ECC , while extracting the data from source sytem if any idoc struck we will manually process in BD87 , But you are telling that while loading the datasource the error occurred , so please check once in ECC side . Otherwise see how many packets are still process, make it red that infopackage and do manually update.

When i was loading the data from SAP R/3 to BW, i was facing the error "Error when updating Idocs in Source System" (0 From 0 Records).
When i check in the Environment>Transaction RFC->In the Source System, it was displaying the error--
<b>" Import container contains errors (are any obligato) in the Function Module: IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R".</b>
Can any one please help me to solve this error.

The workflow settings are not proper it seems. Ask the BASIS people to correct the Work Flow Settings. Then try Updating the IDOCs manually.
Also check the Inbound and outbound IDOCs in the Source system. The outbound should contain some warnings or errors.
