I just got the iPod touch 5th gen and it has taken almost 2 days to download why is this happening? What should I do?

What exactly happens when you try?
Are you updating vie the iPod or via iTunes on the computer?

Try:

Why won't iOS 6 download on my iPad?

iOS 6 has just come out and I have tied to download it from my iPad. When I download it get to about 15% and then it says there was an error so it can't download. Does anyone know what I can do? Oh by the way it is the new iPad.

I'm hoping someone here can assist me as well... Neither my iPhone 4S nor my iPad 2 are even giving me the option to update to iOS 6. Both devices state:
iOS5.1.1
Your software is up to date
I've shutdown, reset, etc. and still there is nothing referencing the new iOS. I don't think I'd be so bothered if it were just one device, but again, neither of my devices have the option.
Would anyone happen to know why that may be? Any help you can provide would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Why won't iOS 8 download on my iPhone?

For the past few days I've been trying to download the new operating software (iOS 8.0) on my iPhone 5, but I keep getting an error message message. When I try to download the software, it says "Downloading", followed right away by "Update Requested... Your software update request has been received. You will be notified when the update has been downloaded and is ready to install." That message stays there between 10-30 minutes (every attempt to download the software had different timing). Finally, a message pops up stating, "Software Update Failed". (See screenshots attached below in chronological order.)
Before suggesting solutions, know that I've eliminated the following as possible reasons for the issue: 1) I've let my phone die / restart before attempting installations. 2) I've plugged the phone into power and been connected to wifi during every installation attempt. 3) I have 10 GB available on my iPhone, so there's definitely enough space for the download and installation to take place. 4) I've plugged my iPhone into my computer (iTunes) and attempted to update the software via the computer. Spoiler: It still didn't work.
Fingers crossed that I can resolve this without having to go down to the Apple Store Genius Bar for help!

Same issue here. You'd figure that after a week of it being available they'd would out the kinks in their system. I've tried over the air, through iTunes, wirelessly (sic) through my home network, wired...disabled security and firewalls...all to no avail. Don't know what gives.

Need help with download problems on Ipod-5th Generation

Hello everyone. Another newbie here who is not technologically inclined but love their Ipod. I just purchased new music videos from the Itunes store, connected my Ipod to the PC and left everything alone until I saw the update complete prompt. However, I am now in a panic because not only did it not sync my new purchases but...all of my previously purchased TV shows, music videos, etc are no longer on my Ipod. I did not request nor click to have anything erased. What can I do to restore my complete library of tunes, videos, tv shows, as I have spent a lot of money on my purchases for this Ipod?
Also, while I'm asking for help: do any of you have problems with downloads timing out before the downloads from the Itunes Store are complete? I purchased several music videos during downloads that said there was an error due to download timeouts; not only did the items never show up in my library but never synced to my Ipod. There were error codes assigned to these videos but...who do I do when this happens? Thanks in advance.

Why isn't my iTunes syncing up to iPod 5th generation?

My iTunes hasn't beens yncing wiht my device. I plug it in and then I click the selected songs I want and it shows the 'syncing process' bar. After it suppossedly 'syncs' my library it just stops as if I never clicked anything. If it helps, I have the new iTunes and I updated to the iOS 7. Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?

Was the iPod previous synced to another iTunes library/computer?

if you have a problem dl'g, you didn't follow all 7 steps. the most common error involves failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

I have a new iPod Classic and it won't sync some of my videos. I've reset it. I've got everything checked. All files and videos play in my library. There all in the same location and files. Its After syncing I get the "some videos were not synced because the format is not supported". All the vids were downloaded from iTunes Store. WTH? Can anyone think of a solution? What is wrong?

Great question. iTunes defaults to downloading HD content when available, whereas your iPod classic is not compatible with HD playback. The solution would be to download the SD version of the content from your purchase history:

The easiest way to put purchased videos onto your device is to download the videos from iTunes in the Cloud. This should make sure that you get the highest resolution video optimized for your specific device.

My opinion on this....from the Photoshop Elements perspective...
Nikon D810 is supported by Camera Raw 8.6 and higher (latest version of Camera Raw is 8.7)

At the same time, the Camera Raw version needs to be supported by the Photoshop Elements version.
Photoshop Elements 12 appears to support Camera Raw up to 8.5 which does not support the Nikon D810.

a. switch to Photoshop Elements 13 (comes with Camera Raw 8.6 and can be updated to 8.7).
b. use the DNG Converter in Photoshop Elements 12

Hi cindyhildy, follow these instructions below it has fixed my issue and should work for you.
Open app store, get the message "unable to connect to iTunes store", go to settings, change year to the last year it will let you (think I went to 2038), double tap home button and close app store, go to home screen and then open app store and touch updates panel, should get a message "cannot get secure connection to server or something like that" go back to settings and reset the year to current.
