Since upgrading to OS X Mavericks I have not been able to work on any MS Word tracked changes documents (works fine if no tracked changes or comments in the doc). Every time upon opening such a word file with tr.changes the word processor closes / crashes.
What can be done in this case?

I just discovered that by turning off in tracked changes balloons in Word preferences prevents the software from crashing, but from then on I need to use only the review pane.

Apple told developers they were removing that service over two years ago. The developers that depended upon it should have done something about it.
Why did they remove it? My guess is because it was pretty crappy, was difficult to maintain, and wasn't a good solution for multiple devices that could get the info without tethering to a "base" Mac.

I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.
Just about time to dump apple I think!

I have tried reloading new LR 5 - and it worked for a short time and then stopped.

It seems to be a problem between LR and Yosemite.

The permissions have been changed on the destination folder where the photos are to be copied into.
You must make sure that the permissions are set to Read and Write.
Or perhaps the destination folder has been changed accidentally to something else, and you need to change it back to whatever it used to be.

I recently updated to the new adobe flash 10.3.181.26 and since then I have not been able to listen to any videos online especially youtube videos. Though I can still see the videos I can't hear them.

I've tried multiple times checking the settings with flash and I've checked and unchecked "hardware acceleration" and I've cleared my cache and cookies multiple of times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled flash many times to but still I have this issue. My computer alone plays music just fine only through flash videos do I have a problem

Hi X-Calibar, thanks for your comments. Yes, there are 4 zones under Internet Options and security settings. IE9 from what I have read has more security features than IE7/IE8 had. It appears this Server verification involves status of the Certificate that the website has as well as the Server that is using it. From what I've read on the IE9 sites, Microsoft states that if any HTTP sites are in the Trusted Zone, that the Server Verification is to be UNchecked.
When you go to add a site to the Trusted Sites zone, it by default only accepts HTTPS sites.
I would think that would only be if you had the SV box checked, that's what I find with IE8.

I think you and I may be saying the same thing, just in a different way:-) Not using IE9, I don't know how all of the new features work. My concern is mainly limited to any feature that conflicts or effects Flash Player. Just as the ActiveX Filtering. That certainly effects Flash Player, so that is on my radar:-)

Since updating to 10.9.3 I have not been able to use my wireless printer. For some reason osx cannot find it or see it. Please Apple make a fix for it ASAP!

Try resetting your printer and router (power off for 15 secs, then back on).
If that doesn't help, try resetting the Printing System:

I have not been able to select on any search results in iTunes. I uninstalled a browser extension program (Spigot) and I was able to resolve the issue.

I was having an issue with selecting any of the Search Results when I perform a search in the iTunes Store on my Windows 7 professional computer. I went through my installed programs and looked for any programs that were installed around the time I started having the issue. I removed 2 of the programs, one was a Browser Search Extension and the other was Spigot another browser extension. After removing these programs the issue was resolved! I hope this helps others that may have this issue.

Try this:
Change the Apple TV resolution:
Press and hold the Menu and Up button on your Apple Remote for six seconds.
The Apple TV will automatically cycle to the next resolution at approximately 20 second intervals.
Press Play on the Apple Remote to keep the current resolution or Select to manually cycle to the next resolution.

Since updating to 9.2.1 I have not been able to Sync Photos

I updated to Iphoto 9.2.1 and when I did so immediately "lost" a whole swag of photo's.
I found em (most in Iphoto Trash) and have restored the library using Iphoto Manager. Iphoto now opens with nothing in the Trash.
But I cannot get Iphoto to Sync with my Apple Tv (1st Generation).
Nebever a problem before now and Apple Tv is working like a dream with everything else and Networks perfectly, just no Iphoto Sync?

It Crashes and when I try to open again I get "unable to open Iphoto, time machine backing up"
Needless to say this takes forever with thousands of photos.
When it does open again there are always about 650 photos in the Iphoto Trash (should be zero).
When Apple Tv does sync it only takes about 200 photos from recent events.

Since upgrading the software on my iPhone 3GS to the iOS 5 i have not been able to sync my iphone. It is not my internet securtity causing the problem, I have just downloaded service pack 3 for windows XP and i have uninstalled and re installed itunes! ?

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot.
