HT6114 Why will 10.9.2 Combo not install?

I have a Macbook Pro (15" Mid 2009, which is currently running 10.9.2)
and thought I would install the combo to solve some issues.

I am under the impression that if something gets "munged" in your system, that installing the combo updater might replace the funky element. I'm just surprised the installed wouldn't let me do it. I could swear I'd one this in the past with combo updaters.

If your asking about the photoshopcs6_p1_installnotes.pdf, then it should open with Adobe Reader 9. It does for me with Adobe Reader 9 (9.5.0) on OSX 10.5.8.
The PDF is saved to version 1.4.

When trying to update and install Mountain Lion's 10.8.3 update from 10.8.2, the App Store will restart my computer but not install the update. Any ideas on how to update my Macbook Pro 15" from 2008?

I was wondering, does anyone have an idea on how to update my Macbook Pro 15" to Mountain Lion's 10.8.3 from Mountain Lion's 10.8.2 version? When I attempt to use the App Store, it will restart my computer but it will not install the update. The update also still shows up in the App Store as available and when going to "About my Mac," it still shows the current version being 10.8.2.

Current OS: Mountain Lion 10.8.2
Original OS: Leopard

Why does Desktop say iTunes is not installed?

When I connect my PlayBook or phone to my PC and click on MUSIC, it says "iTunes is not installed".
However, i do have iTunes installed on my PC.
Any idea what the problem is and how to solve it?

As it turns out.......I had to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes.

Why will a Leopard backup DVD not work on G5.

A couple of Leopard issues:
1, When I a make a dvd backup of my Leopard dvd using either Disk Utility or Toast it will work fine on the intel but will be spit out of the G5. The G5 cannot make double layer so I must rely on a computer that does! My G4 can make double layer but it is 400 miles away now! When is a copy not a copy?
2, Leopard disk utility repair permissions takes a long long time. It gives the errors discussed on other posts but why such a long time?? By the way, the Diskwarrior site gives some cautions about repairing permissions but does not address the inordinate amount of time, with respect
to Tiger, issue.
Other than the above and some applications no longer launching or working properly I appear to have two stable systems working. As I have done for years I install a new OS on an external drive, find out what works and what don't and in a few weeks upgrade the main drive. I usually use Supperdupper but found out it does not work on Leopard, a least for me! So I have not yet figured out how to make an archive copy of a Leopard system. Hard drives are like people, they eventually die. I have not tried a restore using Time Machine so I do not have any faith in it yet!

The fact that your G5 cannot make a dl DVD means nothing. I am sure it can read it, and that's all that counts. If you can play a movie on the G5, it can read a dual-layer DVD. You have some other issue there.
I would also point out that not all DVD DL blanks are equal and some machines can only read the + and some only the - types. A homemade dual-layer DVD is not the same as a commercial one.

This is a known "issue" which has been discussed here many times. We do not know why it takes a long time. Only Apple knows.

Have you looked into CarbonCopy which claims to be Leopard compatible?

Why will my i phone 4 not successfully update the new I.O.S 5

Why is it that when i install the downloadable content on I tunes my I phone 4 connects and starts downloading fine, then as the download comes to an end as soon as it finisheswhich is around (1 to 2 hours) it says 'sorry I tunes was not successful in updating the I phone 4's version of I.O.S 5 due to either network problems or technical problems. ? this is utter rubish as i have a 15 MB internet connection that is on five out of five bars ( connection ) on my computer so this means it is running at it's highest speed. So what the **** is going on ? i have the latest I tunes download anyway so thats not the problem, i have connected and fast internet so thats not the problem and i've followed everythin I tunesw hastold me to do for the update such as; back everything up again ( even apps ) so why is it not working ? anyone have any answers please please please i have tried it 4 times now and to be honest if it keeps doing it im sure my I phone will be finishing up in the bin.

try a basic reset, press and hold the sleep/wake button and the home button until the apple logo appears. This may fix your problem.

Why will my music from iTunes not sync to my iPad?

I tried to drag music from my library to the iPad and the music files are all in grey. I've have reconnected the iPad but they still will not show. I have also restarted my iPad and computer. All songs and playlist from iTunes are there but are all greyed out. All music synced fine to my iPhone and iPod touch. HELP?!
