after some problems with update to ios 5 my ipad 2 will not start anymore...
in itunes it is not visible - So restore is not possible... :-(((
there are only "reboots" on the ipad screen...

The audio in "speak screen" stops working after a few uses. IOS 8.2 did not fix this problem unfortunately. I'm using the Alex voice on a Sprint iPhone 6 plus- if that matters.

I really enjoy the speak screen feature, as the voiceover is too inconvenient and tricky to use. The speak screen option works oerfectly for reading, and helps me as I'm dyslexic. However, the Alex voice stops working after the initial use or soon after. I then have to restart the phone every time in order to get the speak screen to acruelly speak again. Really annoying and was hoping that IOS 8.2 Would fix this, but it appears it had not fixed this bug. Any help with this?

The only additonal troubleshooting options after powering the iPhone off and on, an iPhone reset, and resetting network settings on the iPhone is restoring the iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup and/or restoring with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup.
If no change after restoring as a new iPhone or not from the backup - the same when connected to any wi-fi network besides your own as well as not being able to maintain internet access when connected to your carrier's cellular network, the iPhone has a hardware problem.

IPhone 5 (iOS 7.0.4) connects to my MacBook Pro (OSX 10.9) and immediately disconnects. Visited a Genius bar (Perth) and after they found their phones behaved the same way way they told me this was a feature of iOS 7.0.4 not a software problem. Comments!

I have an iPhone4 with iOS 7.0.4 and a new MBPro with OSX 10.9.
They see each other in BT and when I click the Pair button on the MBP it presents the code and the iPhone says I should see that code, so i click the Pair button on the iPhone.
The MBP changes to "Not connected" and the iPhone pops up "Device is not supported". Really.
I also have a few BT devices that worked perfectly for years with a 4 year old MB and a 3 y.o. MBPro - mainly I frequently use a serial-BT device for work. With 10.9 it is discovered, and I have to try connecting and have it fail before it allows me to enter the code; it connects then disconnects. 10.8.5 had more control over the pairing process and now nothing; one step forward and two steps back - nice job Apple.

HT6147 iOS 7.0.6 update - mail sending problems & uncontrollable apps closing

Hi all!
I’m having problems on two iPads after installing iOS 7.0.6 update. The first one is “sending mails via Exchange account and gmail is a NO GO!” an the second is “closing apps from time to time uncontrollably”. With iOS 7.0.4 this worked fine.
Anyone with same or similar problems? Any suggestions on how to fix this?
I already tried rebooting and deleting/adding accounts again in mail app with no positive effect.
Since iPads are used by company’s managers where seamless emailing is crucial function, this made iPads expensive bricks and nothing more.
The rest of iPads are to stay on the older version till this is fixed or workaround is found.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

I updated to ios 6 and afterwards I started having problems.

My 4th gen ipod touch is skipping and pausing music randomly and is not allowing me to purchase apps directly from the app store. I can, however, purchase apps via itunes on the computer and download to my ipod. I have yet to purchase music directly from my ipod, but I assume it won't work, based on previous experiences.

I've had same problem and fix it visiting this page then click on Manage your Apple ID button. Follow the instructions in order to have your email address verified. After that my iPhone 4S updated do iOS 6 works fine with iCloud.

Replace your hard drive. A retail hdd can be used, just be sure to get one with at least as large a capacity as original in order to use HP Recovery Discs to install Windows. For instance if you have a 320gb a 500gb could be used but not a 250gb.

Besides these problems, there is the battery, which was bad got worse, she is not lasting more than 10 hours, even without using the phone.

Thank you for your question. iTunes 11.1 is required to update to and sync with iOS 7. If you are still running iTunes 10.6.3, I recommend trying to obtain the update by going to the iTunes menu and selecting Check for Updates.
