Am unable to update my iPad to IOS 7.1 .

Make sure your iPad is located close to your wifi router so you have an excellect wifi/internet connection.
Are you getting an error message?

App updated half way, and stopped. Can't delete or continue download.

I impatiently decided to update several apps on the road today, before I had access to WiFi (at work). App started downloading the update and stopped about half way. I assumed that once I was able to contect to the network, it would speed up and complete without problem. Well, now it's stuck. I can't delete it or access it. It's basically a dead icon on my screen.
I haven't tried connecting it to my iTunes at home, but is there another way to access installed apps and force delete? iPhone finder?

You can also try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Ipod updates half way then stops

Hi i have a 20gig click wheel. i am sharing files with a computer in the office in my home. im attempting to update my ipod from my upstairs computer by just having half of my library being feed from the computer in my office ( i have half of my music in my room half in my office). The problem ive been having lately is that i got a new ipod and it wont update the music from downstairs past the letter M it still puts on the music from the upstairs computerafter m but not the music downstairs.

I have installed the app-v 5 client on a 2012 rd server. After publishing the application I’m getting the error “The
application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.”
The registry value
NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation is already set on 2.
The error in the eventlog is
“could not be started because the App-V Subsystem 'Virtual Filesystem' could not be initialized. {error: 0x6740090A-0x20003}”

Trying to move Acrobat 7.0 Standard (Version 7.0.9) to a new computer. found the website to download a new copy of the application. Downloaded and installed. When trying to start the application an error message immediately pops up - "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000fd). Click OK to close the application."

There is not enough information about the problem. For troubleshooting, I recommend you can use Process Monitor to detect whether there's any process failed.
You can download Process Monitor and see how to use it for troubleshooting in below links:

There are a lot of log entries in Process Monitor, you may filter Visual Studio process only(proces = devenv.exe). And you can upload the logs to OneDrive so that we can investigate them.

Does Word start in Safe Mode?
Press Win key + R, type "winword.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
If Word can start in Safe Mode, the issue should be related to 3rd-party add-ins, disable the suspicious add-ins to determine which one caused the problem.
You can also try repairing Office from Control Panel -> Programs and Features, check if this helps.

I recent have been having trouble running cmd.exe. I am getting this pop up message everytime I run the program, whether as a regular user or as Admin. The message that pops up is:

My 80 gig ipod color stops updating half way through

My ipod 80 gig color stops updating half way through the synch process. I have tried to restore it and it still fails and gives me an error message saying it cannot read or wrtie to the ipod after it is half way loaded after trying to load 5000+ songs only it gets to about 2,250 and stops.

It could be an indication or a damaged or dying hard drive. I would recommend doing a disk diagnostic on the iPod's HD using the instructions given by turingtest2 in this older thread. He also covers what the resulting numbers indicate.

Senario:
Need to manage 500 Enterprise iPads
Requirements;
1) Trackable via Find my iOS device (we have 500 iPads and with the 100 device limit per iCloud account for Find my iOS device limit we have 5+ iCloud accounts).
2) Individually named iPads for locating and sending commands to wipe, lost mode, etc.. on map per Find my iOS device (we uniquely name them in Apple Configurator either by using the "sequensetially numbering feature", or by creating individual back ups (yes, 450) with the name specified in the image).
3) Find my iOS device feature enabled in base Prepared or Supervised image (using one of our 5+ iCloud accounts) (image can be created during prepared stage, or in supervised stage) - tried both and have the same issue - which I am getting to...
4) VPP codes for paid apps (all VPP codes purchased with generic account which is the Apple Admin account for VPP purchases). Apple Configurator is set up under a different/ unique Apple account (i.e. not VPP admin account) and not logged into iTunes for any purchases/ services).
Issue: Can not do any following senarios;
A)
1) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Prepare stage (added during preparing stage)
2) configure master iOS 7 iPad with iCloud account with Find my iOS feature enabled in Supervised stage (added after supervising, and then backing up that supervised and iOS Find my iOS device enabled)
B) 1) Apply master image to any Supervised iPad (under senario step A) or senario step B)), including the (Supervised or/ Prepared iPad that was used to create the maset iOS 7 image
Result = fail with Apple generic code "4" ; This is obviously due to Find my iOS device feature enabled during image capture.
According to Apple (see Apple Config. Help) the 'Activation lock' (new feature in iOS 7) will not be enabled on a supervised device when an iCloud account with "Find my iDevice" is enabled. Their "help files" seem to imply after the device is Supervised, and a person (presumably and end user) adds thier own iCloud account with Find my iOS device enabled the activation lock is not enabled and erasing/ reconfiguring with Apple Configurator will not cause reimaging probhlems such as requiring the end user's credentials to reconfigure the device using Apple Configurator (i.e. you won't need the end user's credentials).
Needed: To be able to configure Supervised iPads with iCloud account (Enterprised owned iCloud account) configured on the basse image, which has Find my iOS device enabled, and to be able to apply that base image to all Enterprise iPads without generic apple error code 4 issue.

I am trying to replicate these steps in my environment but I am having trouble getting an iCloud backup restored to a supervised device. Can someone clarify the steps? The parts I am unsure on are:
1) Do you Prepare in Configurator with all the institution owned apps? Or do you install them after restoring the iCloud backup?
2) After entering the personal AppleID to restore the iCloud backup, the setup wizard prompts for the Institution/Configurator AppleID, there is an option to 'Skip Now'. Do you enter in the password for the institution account? or do you skip that step?
3) What exactly is on the screen in the 'mini setup assistant' after the restore when you Refresh with Configurator?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
