  • I forgot the answers to my apple security questions and there's no link to reset them. Is there any way to do it without calling them? I do have a rescue email.

    I cannot seem to find a way to reset my security questions without call apple. I looked to see if there was a link under the questions but there was not.

    The rescue email should give you the procedure for changing the answers.  If that does not help you can call Apple at the number for your location from http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57 and ask to speak with Account Security.

    If you did not setup a rescue email address, try contacting the Apple ID Security site from http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699 and they can help reset the questions/answers.

  • Hello.I forgot the answer of my apple IDs security questions.Could you recover it for me?

    Hello.I forgot the answer of my apple IDs security questions.Could you recover it for me?

    Everyone here is just a fellow user, so no one here recover or reset your questions. See the information below.
    How to reset your Apple ID security questions
    Go to appleid.apple.com and click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.
    Log in with your Apple ID and password. If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email.
    Go to the Password & Security section on the left side. Then underneath the security questions click on the link that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'.  This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't work, or  there is no rescue email link available, then:
    click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.
    Next, go to getsupport.apple.com. If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services'.
    Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.
    A new page will open.  Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Forgotten Apple ID Security Questions'.
    Click the blue 'Continue' button.
    Select the contact option that suits your needs best.
    The above information quoted with gratitude from TJBUSMC1973, another user in these forums.
    Forum Tip: Since you're new here, you've probably not discovered the Search feature available on every Communities page, but next time, it might save you time (and everyone else from having to answer the same question multiple times) if you search a couple of ways for a topic, both in the relevant forums and in the Apple Knowledge Base before you post a question.
    Regards.

    Hello. I forgot the answer of my Apple IDs security question. But I can't recover it because I don't have the place to "click" to send an email.....

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

    If you have a rescue email address on your account (an alternate email address is different) then you can use that to reset them : If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will have to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
    Contacting Apple about account security : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security
    If your country isn't on that page then try this form and explain and see what they reply with : https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
    When they've been reset, and if you don't already have a rescue email address, you can then add one for potential future use : Manage your Apple ID primary, rescue, alternate, and notification email addresses
    Or if it's available in your country you could change to 2-step verification : Frequently asked questions about two-step verification for Apple ID

    Yes.  You can.  See the "more like this" section on the right side of the page or do a simple forum search.  Your question has been asked and answered dozens of times.

  • TS2446 I forgot the answers to my 2 personal questions. What do I do?

    I forgot the answers to my two personal questions. What do I do?

    Reset Security Questions
    Frequently asked questions about Apple ID
    Manage My Apple ID
    Or you can email iTunes Support at iTunes Store Support.
    If all else fails:
      1. Go to: Apple Express Lane;
      2. Under Product Categories choose iTunes;
      3. Then choose iTunes Store;
      4. Then choose Account Management;
      5. Now choose iTunes Store Security and answer the bullet questions, then click
          Continue;
      6. Sign in with your Apple ID and press Continue;
      7. Under Contact Options fill out the information and advise iTunes that you would
          like your security/challenge questions reset;
      8. Click Send/Continue.
    You should get a response within 24 hours by email.
    In the event you are unsuccessful then contact AppleCare - Contacting Apple for support and service.
    Another user had success doing the following:
    I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
    Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
          tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
          "done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
          Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
          should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
          selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
          should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
    It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
    Good Luck friends!

  • HT1689 I forgot the answers to my account security questions. So now I can't purchase things on my new device until I figure them out? Help!

    I went to purchase a song on my new phone and it required me verifying my account. No big deal but it asked me questions that I answered when I was like 13. I usually use my compurer so it has never asked me them before. How can I reset them or figure out the answers? Or is there a way to by pass it?

  • If you forgot the answers to your Apple ID security questions

    Hi good day,
    I need to change security questions. As you tell as
    Select “Send reset security info email to [your rescue email address].” If you don't see this link or don't have access to your rescue address, contact Apple Support as described in the next section.
    But the massage not show to me.
    Thanks.

    You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; this can be done by clicking here and picking a method, or if your country isn't listed, filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • What do I do if I forgot the answers to my Apple ID security answers?

    I need help fast.

    If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then the steps half-way down this page should let you reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
    If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.
    Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
    When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

  • HT5312 I forgot the answers to my Apple ID Security Questions and can't purchase anything on the iTunes or App Store.

    I recently attempted to purchase a song on the iTunes store, and after I typed in my password, Apple gave me a Notification telling me to answer my Security Questions. After I answer my Security Questions, they were somewhat incorrect. I kept trying and trying to answer the questions correctly, they were still incorrect. Then, it said that my Apple ID will be locked if I kept attempting to answer the Security Questions. I obviously have forgotten my answers that I typed in a few years ago. Please get back to me as soon as you can.

    You need to contact Apple, either through the link in that article or by phoning them and asking for the Account Security team.
