No need to apologize! You didn't put your question in the wrong Community forum, so no worries there. It's just that this is a user community forum, so Apple is not represented here. The link I provided for you takes you directly to a place where you can provide your feedback to Apple. Just so you know, Apple doesn't directly respond to any feedback they get, but the do read all of the feedback. So, the more clamoring for Apple Pay in Canada they get, the more likely it is they will try to get it in place
Glad you all have iPads and hope you enjoy them! And thanks for posting back! Hoping Apple Pay comes to Canada soon for you!
Cheers,

  • Apple Pay in canada

Will apple pay be available on iPhone 6 and 6 plus in Canada on release in October?

    Here is everything we know:

the important part at the bottom:
*The list will be updated as banks are added. Contact your card issuer to determine your card’s eligibility. Some banks may not support all card types.
Apple Pay is available in the U.S.

  • Apple pay canada ???

when is apple pay coming to canada

Current reports are that it will be as soon as March. However know that nothing is official until Apple announces it. Also, remember that your card issuer or bank will need to support it. Even after it was released in the US many banks took a month or so before supporting it.

  • HT6288 Does Apple Pay Support the Visa (Quicksilver) CC From Capital One

Sad to say that Apply isn't available for my GM Master Card from Capital One because it's has rewards features.
I'm planning to obtain a VISA Quicksliver CC fro Capital One.  It also has reward features, does anyone know if this card is acceptable for Apple Pay ?

It should work fine.  The rewards have nothing to do with not working.  I also have a GM Master Card from Capital One.  Only straight Capital One cards currently work ie: Quick Silver, Venture, etc.  These cards are directly from/by Capital One.  The Store/Company branded versions of Capital One will roll out later in the year or next.  GM could not tell me exactly, but I would assume it won't take too long as more consumers will be asking that the branded cards be added to the list.  Several new banks were added just this week.  Before then only the major banks ie: Chase, Bank One, etc. were good with Visa/MC, now my bank USAA has been added.  Hopefully the Store/Company versions of these cards will be added soon.

  • No Settings Passbook & Apple Pay in iPad Air 2

I want to setup Apple pay on my iPad Air 2, which was received yesterday. I found the following instructions.
To set up Apple Pay on iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, open Passbook and follow the steps below. On iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3, go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay and follow the steps below. blah, blah, blah ...
However, the question there is NO "Passbook & Apple Pay" in the "Settings". I'm using the tablet in Canada. Is there anyone know what should I do? Here is a snapshot for the settings screen.

    Hi David,
    Thank you very much.
Dose the passbook is also not available in Canada?
    thanks

  • Why is there no Apple Pay option on my iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1 update?

I have iOS 8.1 on my iPhone 6, but there is no option to set up Apple Pay. I have checked the settings, and have checked passport itself. I have search Spotlight on the iPhone, nothing comes up. I live in Toronto, Canada. Is it just because of where I live? Will there be another update for the rest of the major countries?

It's U.S only at the moment.

  • Apple Pay Setup with 2 Different iCloud Accounts?

    Hello,
I have 2 different iCloud Accounts.
One (my main account) in Canada.
The other one in the United States.
I am with citi bank in the US.
Can I setup Apple Pay on my iPhone 6 with the US iCloud, but keep my main Canadian iCloud account as the main account to sync everything (contacts, bookmarks, calendars, etc) without the US account interfering.
i.e. I would only want to use my US account to setup Apple Pay.
    Thanks,
    Nicolas

    Hi Nicolas ....
I understand what you are trying to do but only one iCloud account is allowed per device.
Apple Pay is only works in the United States.

  • Does US apple ship to canada

The new iphone6 plus was presented, and I'm interested in getting it. And I'm living in Canada, in apple store in Canada, the price of iphone6 plus is $100 more than in US apple store. Can I order on US's apple store and ship it to Canada? The price that I pay will be US price or Canada's price? Do I need to pay duty tax or something else?

Also, make sure you are comparing "apples to apples" so to speak
*exchange rates are spot from about an hour ago*
    1 Canadian Dollar equals
    0.91 US Dollar
    1 US Dollar equals
    1.10 Canadian Dollar
    store.Apple.com/us/buy-iphone/iphone6 = iPhone Plus 128GB = $499 USD   [  = $551.05 CD at today's exchange rate ]
    store.Apple.com/ca/buy-iphone/iphone6 = iPhone Plus 128GB = $1079 CD   [  = $977.09 USD at today's exchange rate ]
The $100 of which you speak of is hard to figure out (for me at least). Canadian taxes+fees+??
    best luck

  • Is Webster bank in Connecticut going to setup Apple Pay

Is Webster bank in Connecticut going to setup Apple Pay

    Hey Gtd44,
Thanks for the question. While I do not have specifics as to which financial institutions are currently exploring opportunities with Apple Pay, we do have a great resource that lists all of our current participating issuers:
Apple Pay participating issuers - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT6288
This list is updated quite frequently - the last update being five days ago. Continue to check back if you don’t see your issuer listed.
    Thanks,
    Matt M.

  • Can not see Apple Pay in Passbook

When I click on Passbook, I do not have Credit and Debit Cards as the selection below shows, All I can see is Passes.
    I do have 8.1 and I do have a iPhone 6 Plus.
Thank you for any responses ahead of time

I had same problem and then I looked at this post. However, before connecting to my iTunes, I gave one last try and went to settings -> General -> Language and region -> Region Formats. I had set up my region as India as I use Indian languages for display purposes. However, when I changed the region back to US, I was able to get to the screen in Passbook where I could add Credit/Debit cards. So this was solved. Then I went back to settings, but the Passbook and Apple Pay menu was still not available. So I restarted the iPhone and it took me to screens as if I was starting for first time. After couple of clicks and setup, I was able to see the menu in settings as well. Btw, I am still able to use Indian languages with the region setup as US. So I am not losing my original functionality either.
Hopefully this helps for people with similar setup and do not wish to go through iTunes route.

    No.

  • How can I enable Touch ID for Apple Pay without turning Passcode on?

    I have an iPhone 6 w/ iOS 8.1.
I strongly dislike having to unlock my phone when I want to use it. Until I purchased the iPhone 6, I have never enabled a passcode. My phone is never out of my immediate control and when I want to access my phone, I want to access it immediately, not put in a passcode or wait for it to recognize my finger print.
There are separate settings for "Turn Passcode On/OFF" and for enabling the use of Touch ID for Unlock/Apple Pay/iTunes. However, if you turn off passcode, All three of the Touch ID Options are immediately disabled. Unlock makes sense, as your phone would no longer be "locked". However disabling Apple Pay and especially iTunes/App Store (since those purchases require you enter your Apple ID Password, NOT the passcode!) does not make sense.
The inconvenience of the extra unlock step every time I want to use my phone to do anything almost certainly will negate any convenience of using my phone to make purchases.
Am I missing a configuration? If not there should be a way to use Touch ID without having an unlock passcode!

NO in order to use the touch id, you need to enable a 4 digit passcode.
    No way around that.
Imagine when you lose your phone and the person who has it can access anything on your phone because it's an extra step to have to use the touch id or enter the 4 digit passcode to lock/unlock your phone.

  • Can't Set up to Apple Pay and can't find Apple Pay in my Passbook

I have updated my iPod Touch 5th Gen. to iOS 8.1. I can't set up to Apple Pay in my Passbook and can't Find Apple Pay in my PassBook in my settings.
How do I set this up for my iPod Touch?
In My settings My PassBook app is not Listed but it is listed in the Notification section, but my Passbook app shows  in my iPod Touch? How do I add or can I add the Passbook app into my settings?
How come my Passbook app isn't listed in directly in my settings like all the other apps?
I really want to have and use the new Apple Pay in my iPod Touch, I had watched the Keynote and they said that the Apple Pay could be used on the iPod Touch 5 along with the other Apple mobile devices? If the Apple Pay can't be used on the iPod Touch 5 then this is very unfair, I know for a fact that they said that the Apple Pay could be used for the iPod Touch 5!?

But thats Not Fair to us iPod Touch People?1 We would like to be able to use the Apple Pay too?

Who do we complain to and how do we get Apple to Allow the iPod Touch People to have access to Apple Pay?
Sorry, you are wrong. Apple did NOT say Apple Pay would be available on all Apple devices. Apple SPECIFICALLY stated that Apple Pay is available ONLY on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Previous Apple devices, including your iPod Touch, simply do not have the hardware chip (called NFC) to make it possible.
