yesterday i installed skype application from playstore and run it and login with my id ,used voice and video call with my brother ..for few minutes kept for loudspeaker too after closing call with my brother ..i wanted to listen songs from music player ..when i opened music player the sound is coming from only top speaker that too very low and sound from bottom speaker is not coming ..when i play any music it plays from top speaker that too low sound ..... so ,for testing purpose ...i reset my phone ...it works fine after resetting ...then again repeat same procedure ...same problem i m getting My phone HTC816 dual sim please waiting for your positive reply ...... please give me reply

Live in Costa Rica. Been making Skype calls to U.S. in excess of 5 years. During the past 3 weeks when I make initial Skype call with my iPad2 or iPhone and I can't be heard. Did a search in App Store using "Skype", not Skype for iPad. Apps were shown for iPad, iPhone and iPod. Unlike the iPad App which shows "installed", the iPhone App displayed "Install". I installed the iPhone App to my iPad2. My iPad now has 2 App's installed. The iPhone Skype App display format on my iPad now looks like the Skype display before I upgraded to the current iPad version in late May. Made a call using both App's. Still could not be heard with Skype iPad App. Called the same individual using iPhone App installed on my iPad. Was heard and the sound quality was excellent! Will continue to make calls for several days before passing judgement.

Try to position your iphone that the screen is facing away from your skin.
Make sure that the back part of your phone will be the one that will contact your skin inside your pocket

Skype 7.2 crashes after making a call

Today i installed windows 8.1 and i've encountered a problem with skype.
Anytime i try to call somebody skype just stops responding. I've seen people had similar problems and tried things like:
1) Reinstalled skype, deleted skype folder from roaming.
2) Activated .NET framework version 3.5 in my windows features. Still no result.
3) I checked that there would be no compability with older versions of windows
Above things did not help me.

5800 - problems after installing skype

Hey all,
I have a 5800 which I have been using without issue for 6 months or so. Several days ago, I decided to install the Skype app, for whatever reason. However, once I did this, several problems suddenly sprang up.
First, when I receive a text message to my phone, nothing happens to notify me of this. Most of the time the little envelope in the corner shows up, but not always. No sound or vibration, however, no matter what profile I have it set on. The phone still rings when I receive a call, and for alarms, but not for text messages.
Second, my accelerometer seems to have stopped working. I DID get it to work once, and the phone flipped to landscape view, but then wouldn't flip back.
I've since uninstalled skype, deleted the install file, turned the phone on and off, took the battery out and put it back in, played with all the settings, etc., and no dice.
Any ideas?

IPhone music playback breaks after making a call - Motorokr t505

Hi,
My Motorokr t505 works great with the iPhone for making calls and music playback.
This all works well with voice control.
Except, there's a bug in the iPhone.
If I am playing music, then make a phone call by pressing the Motorokr phone button, after the call is complete, the music playback does not resume reliably.
Sometimes, it seems to be going fast and playing fractions of a second of music. Other times, it just doesn't seem to be doing anything.
The solution is to switch off the Motorokr and start playing music again.
Note, that if I receive a call while playing music, the whole system works perfectly - the music resumes correctly after the call has finished.
Any feedback? How do I tell Apple so they can work on this problem for the next firmware release.

Yesterday, I traded in my blackberry with skype mobile to a Samsung. Since then, I've received one SMS message, but my response has been stuck in "pending" mode all day. Also, I cannot receive or send any calls. Any thoughts?

To stop the calls to your Skype Number from strangers go to: Tools>Options> Privacy Settings>Allow calls to my Skype Number from phone numbers in my Contact list only>SAVE
Then please contact Skype customer service explain the problem and ask for a replacement number.

IPhone 4S IOS 5.0 on ATT: audio problems when making a call

I have had recent problems with the new iPhone 4S regarding calling audio and mic. In Bluetooth mode, the BT symbol changes from blue to white and there is no audio when the call is made. At this time, I cannot select another source (BT, iPhone, or speaker). Sometimes I can hear the other person. I completely turned off the Bluetooth on the iPhone and experience the same problems. Signal strength is excellent. Anyone else having the same issues?

Audio Problem When Making Normal Call

I've run into a problem where, if I place or receive a call using my iPhone, the iPhone doesn't play or transmit the conversation audio. In fact, I don't even hear ringing. This changes if I change the call into Speaker mode; audio seems to work fine after I do that. I was having this problem last night and it continued into today, and I've reset it twice. I have noticed that from time to time the device loses track of what to use for output.
Since I use BlueTooth most of the time I have been able to bypass the problem with the depression of the button on the BlueTooth headset.
When I do not have the BlueTooth on, I normally have to put the iPhone up to my ear to hear the audio.
When possible you can go to Voicemail, depress the audio key and then depress the manner that you want to receive the audio.

Not at this time. You have to manually make the call presently.

My I phone will make calls but I can only hear the dialling tone when on loudspeaker.
I can only speak with people on loudspeaker (Where they can hear me and I can hear them)

This seems to be a widespread issue, I just finished reading a three page thread in another area of the forum.
Mine never worked right out of the box. Unfortunately, I didn't come to realize this until after I had left the AT&T store.
When making a conventional call, the person on the other end cannot hear me unless I switch to speakerphone. I have a scheduled appointment with Apple this morning, let's see what they say about it. Based on what I have read so far, it sounds like I will have to get a replacement.
