HTC one M8 keeps getting hot and quickly draining battery, anyone else experienced this?

every couple of days my HTC one M8 gets hot to the touch and I noticed the batter display may show as high as 90% but it will die with in 5 minutes, one time i restarted it and it showed 30% battery left. i'm thinking the battery is already going bad even though the phone is only a few months old, any other ideas? I did check and nothing is running in the back ground. I stopped playing any games after it did it once and it's done it several time since so don't think its a game / app issue. thanks!

I'm so sorry to learn of these issues with your device. Let's take a closer look into this OK? How long has this been going on? When the device gets hot, is it being used or is it in standby mode? The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

my phone keeps freezing and then resetting itself with that annoying circle made up of lines as it resets when doing simple operations like messaging. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I'm getting this on my 5s. When scrolling fast i get random complete screen halts. When holding down on a scrollable portaion of a screen the screen jittes badly and then begins to hop all over the place.
Seems a bit suspicious, and more than a little disappointing.

OSX 10.6.4 and onwards...anyone else experiencing this stuff?

I just want to know if anyone else has been having these issues too, because all they seem to do is pile up with every update. Let's go back to 10.6.4...
First, I got it, and as soon as I did, my sleep light stops working and the computer takes forever to go to sleep.
Then I get OSX 10.6.5. Start up begins to take forever. The sleep issue wasn't fixed. iTunes began slowing down, giving me the rainbow disk as I searched for a song or tried to load it. Logic Pro also takes about a minute now to prep the hard disk to record instead of like one second.
Then TODAY I just got 10.6.6. neither of the previous issues were fixed. I did a HD scan to see if there were issues, and there was one error that was repaired with the disk, but it fixed nothing.
Has anyone else had these surmounting problems too?

No, because the problems are associated with your system installation and/or hardware.
The sleep light may be hardware. The other problems would likely be solved by doing a backup of your drive, then erasing it and reinstalling Snow Leopard from scratch then downloading the 10.6.6 Combo Updater to update (support.apple.com/downloads/.)
In addition verify you have installed any released firmware updates for your particular model, try resetting the PRAM How to Rest the PRAM and the SMCHow to Reset the SMC.

HT1222 ever since updating my iPad to its 5.1.1 my apps are constantly crashing, including safari, Netflix and others. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Dos anyone know how I can report it to apple? I'm having a hard time finding where to do that.

Just as I was posting this question, my entire iPad crashed, giving me the symbol indicating it was revving back up it I had to plug it in & press the main power button to get it to come back.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Since installing 10.7.3 Mail and Address Book no longer load and report errors. Anyone else experiencing this? Safari works fine.

Everything worked fine prior to the installation. I am aware of bug issues that people are reporting with regard to no applications working and strange error messages. My MacBook Air is fine; my wife's MacBook is fine. It's my iMac 12,1 that isn't.

It is an enormous crash report error rather than a short message. Both Address Book and Mail crash. I restored my iMac to pre-10.7.3 and everything worked fine once more. I downloaded and installed 10.7.3 as a combo a short while ago and the crash report for Address Book and Mail once more returned.

IOS 7.0.4 on iPhone 4S has caused sound to go on and off? Has anyone else experienced this? Is it fixable?

Also the animation of the bell with a sound bar underneath is not working properly. Sometimes it pops up with the bar under the bell and sometimes the bar is missing and just the square with the bell is all you see. The side sound buttons are still functioning, just an animation glitch. When head phones are plugged in there is no change in the strange sounds going in and out. Videos are the worst and not only do they not play sound but thy also pause themselves??? The typing has intermittent sound. I have hard reset and rebooted my phone about 8 or 10 times with only temporary relief. I connected to iTunes and toatlly reset everything once, still no change??

Are you connected to wifi?
If you can't do it on the phone, you can most certainly do it via itunes.

Thanks so much but none of that helped. It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive. I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!
