HTC One M8 will not charge

I have tried different chargers and the phone will not charge. When I put it on the charger, I get a red flashing light and after 5 mins the light is gone and I cannot turn on the phone. Now the phone has no charge and I am not able to do a factory reset.

Never had this issue on my ONE M8 but you might try getting your phone to restart by booting into recovery mode..
see if that helps.. It may be also you have a Battery that has Deep Discharged and will need charging before the Orange light comes on and stays steady you should also hear the Phone Vibrate.. Put the phone on the charger set close to it if you can see if starts charging after 15 to 30 min. have past by it should and it may take up to Hour if is really deep Discharged anything past that and you have the Same Results 0 level I'd say something is failing in the Battery or phone that helps make it charge..

there is a little orange light that turns on when i plugged it in to the charger that blinks periodically then goes back to straight and turns off after about 5 minutes. This is either a Phone issue or an Electrical issue in your home.! when charging Do you always use the same electrical outlet? or did you try others..
You will know or should know if there are any issues with your other Electronics.. that you Plug into it..
If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..
But I would Try another OUTLET just to see if your phone charges with it.. And Good Luck b33

We never want you to have issues with charging your device! That's definitely no fun! Are you using the charger that came with the phone? Have you tried restarting the phone to see if that makes any difference? If you look in the charging port are there any signs of corrosion?

If your model Macbook Pro is the calibrating model, let the battery calibrate.
If not, and are still under warrant or have Apple Care, give them a call and get a case number. Otherwise, take the computer to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

Nano not recognised on windows or itunes and will not charge, help!!!!

i went to update my ipod the other day and it said that the ipod was corrupted, so i took it out and pluged it back in again and it worked fine. then i went to charge my ipod on the computer a couple of days later and its not regognised on windows or itunes and will not charge!
i have reset, restarted and updated etc and nothing has happened. i have read other thru peoples messeges who have simular problems and they say that reinstalling and reseting to factory conditions doesnt work.
can someone please help me or has any one had the same problem? thanks

Yes, you can.
"Putting your iPod into disk mode" is simply a process that involves pressing a few buttons on your iPod, getting it into Disk Mode.

IPad 2 will not charge or be recognized by iTunes

Ok... before anything is said, I have read basically every thread here and elsewhere regarding this issue. I have reset the iPad and done everything else many times over.
The problem here is not exactly that my iPad will not charge no matter what. If I plug the device into the wall it DOES charge, albeit very, VERY slowly and the lightning bolt sign does not show up. I left the device plugged in and off for two consecutive days and the charge went from 2% to about 40% in that time and then drained very quickly once I used it.
As I said, the lightning bolt does not come up even though the device knows that it is plugged in. After one of the resets I did, the lightning bolt came on and the iPad appeared to be charging very quickly. A few minutes later the cord got knocked just the tiniest bit out of the port and when it was plugged back in fully, the lightning bolt did not appear and has not come back since after many resets.
It also refuses to be recognized by iTunes as well as my computer entirely, even while it is in recovery mode.
I recently upgraded to iOS 5.1, began using iCloud and began using iTunes match, dont know if these things have anything to do with this.

So, I have an ipad 1 as shown above. Recently it froze so I followed Apple instructions and held down the home button and the sleep button until it reset. A couple weeks later I noticed that it would not charge with either the wall plug in or usb plug in. I discovered that it would charge only if it was completely dead (up to 5% and then it stops charging) or if I plug it in via wall plug, then turn it off, and leave it off until it is completely charged. It will not charge if it is on. I have followed all of Apples help/troubleshooting and it still hasn't worked. Make an appointment at your local Apple store and take it back. I think there's some sort of hardware issue going on and they are the only ones to handle it.
