Updated to 2.3.3 and now my HTC Stocks application doesn't seem to work - anyone else experiencing this?

Why do some apps stop working after update to iOS 6?

I notice one of my apps stopped working after the iOS 6 update, in particular Uno HD, which I paid $5 for. Why did this happen?

I had solved the problem by installing the free app, which seemed to reset something, then I deleted the free app, and the paid version continued to work until the next day. I was going to show one of my friends the game, and then it once again would not open- the same problem was back, as soon as I went to open it, it crashed back to the desktop without opening the game. I had to re-install the free version again, and for a while, neither version would work, but then after a while, it started working again. I guess I have to leave the free app installed or I won't be able to use the paid version of Uno.

Just checked again, took the Uno app out of resident memory by double-pushing the home button and holding the app icon til it starts to shake, and then hit the minus symbol, which deletes it out of resident memory.
Went to open it again, and it of course crashed back to the desktop again. So there is some issue with it that is making it unstable.
I have to keep pushing on either one of the app icons continuously until one of them starts, and then the other one will start.
Gameloft needs to do an update.

Mail app stopped working after upgrade to Mavericks

Dear All,
I have updated from Mountain Lion (Macbook Pro 3,1, 256SSD) to Mavericks, and mail app stopped working.
That means - when I click the icon - the app does not work.
I can see that it downloads mail - as when I click it I receive notifcation that it has downloaded some mail, however I cannot open window. Sometimes I manage to open it, but it is totally unresponsive - I cannot change or click anything in it.
I have tried repairing disk permissions but without any success.
Moreover if I run mail app and try to click "new message" from the top bar, the window that appears is somewhat mixed with my wallpaper backround (I can see fragments of it).
Please help me, as I had there a few gigs of precious mails that I don't want to lose...

Do a backup.
Take notes of all account information or take screen shots. You may need to set the accounts up again. Quit Mail.
Copy the line below.
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Select Go/Go To Folder from the Finder menu bar. Paste the line into the window. You won’t see it.
Move the folder com.apple.mail to your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents.
Relaunch Mail and test. If the problem is solved, recreate any required Mail settings and import any emails you want to save from the folder on the desktop. If the problem remains, return the folder to where you got it replacing the one that is there.

If you prefer to make your user library permanently visible, use the Terminal command found below.
Show User Library Directory in Mac OS X 10.7 Lion & 10.8 Mountain Lion
You might want to bookmark the command. I had to use it again after every update. I have also been informed that if you drag the user library to Finder it will remain visible.

Social network apps stopped working after hard res...

Hi,
I hard reset the N8 with the code *#7370# but after that the Social network apps stopped working. Facebook could not be connected even when I'm entering the correct user id and password.
Please help.

i use the same account for ovi store And as well as for ovi music . . And they are working . . I understand about the the alternative no offences but is the default application gonna be dead from now on for me ? Nokia should test something before they put it for people to use . . Dont know till when i have to wait for it to get sorted out . . is there anyone from Nokia team Who can tell me what is to be done with this problem . .

IPhone 4 Apps stop working after sync

Everytime I sync my I phone my downloaded apps will not open. I can correct this by downloading another App but that is a pain. I want to be able to sync my iPhone and not have my app stop working.

I've just noticed the 'more like this' section on the right with similar problems and it appears to be a common problem with iTunes not being authorised so I have now done that and hopefully it'll be fine now. I just opened iTunes then went to store-authorise this computer.

Stocks App Stopped Working Properly

The Stocks App on my 3G iPhone has recently stopped working properly.
When I open it, the current share prices all still come up as expected, but the numbers at the right hand side in the green and red boxes where it tells you the + or - shift for the day no longer show. Now they are all blank.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have any suggestions to fix it?

My Stocks App stopped working

My stocks app just stopped working. All the stocks that were in the list, as well as, the exchanges got erased. When I added back the dow jones and nasdaq back in, they still don't show any info. Just a green line.

Anyone Elses Apps Stopped Working After IOS 5

After i updated my 3GS to IOS 5 my apps have stopped working :s i click on them and they come straight off it's werid anyone else having problems? I tried deleting few them and reinstalled still didn't work and dont wanna do it for all my apps as i have loads lol.

Unfortunately, it's up to the app writer to make his/her app iOS5 compliant. I'd suggest finding the app's troubleshooting or contact info and letting them know there's an issue. If they're non-responsive, then you can look for another one. It's entirely possible that they don't even know there's an issue.

App Store Apps Stop Working After Sync

On my 3G, I have paid, downloaded & used 4 apps from the apps store. They have worked fine until synching. After Sync, the icons still appear on my phone but the appps no longer work.

I've had exactly the same problem, even though I did not play with the authorize/deauthorize stuff. The computer's always been running iTunes and has always been authorized, the only new thing was the iPhone 8GB. What happened is that one app was updated through iTunes (though all apps downloaded over the air). After that update (+sync) none of the "uncore" apps were working.
The solution that worked for me was effectively to download a new app over the air - filling the iTunes password again - and poof, all other apps were working again.

iPhone's great apart of that slight prob. Might try to update to iTunes 8 anyway.

Apps stop working after sync

Hi whenever I sync my new iPad3 with iTunes my apps no longer open, the screen just goes grey briefly then goes back to the home screen, the way I've been getting around this is by installing any free app then uninstalling again and everything works fine after this but is there a way to stop this happening in the first place or am I doing something wrong?

Apps stop working after updating to 2014.1 - only in one account.

I updated to 2014.1 and Photoshop will open, but will not respond to mouse or keyboard input and has to be force closed. Photoshop CC still works fine.
After previous experience with the Update Manager, all updates were installed under the Administrator account.
Back in the regular user account (is also an Admin account) Premiere started getting slower to open, then stopped altogether with the "could not detect video playback device" error. Updating drivers, both for Nvidia graphics and Intel graphics (laptop) made no difference.
Both programs work fine in other accounts - both the Administrator account and a newly created test account.
Preferences were synced online to the Administrator account and then, when not all of them came back, they were manually copied from the nonworking user account. Premiere continues to work in the Administrator account.
I really need this to work in my normal user account - I have other applications that will have to be re-authorized and preferences restored, as well as all of the Adobe CC preferences and presets as Cloud sync doesn't really work fully.
Any suggestion for possible courses of action would be greatly appreciated. I'm off for a couple of weeks so I'll try and get this fixed, otherwise I'll get a new HDD and do a clean install.

Sorry, thought I'd mentioned that - all accounts have Admin privileges, although all installs and updates are always done through the actual Administrator account.
Although I've decided to start the year with a fresh install on a new SSD, I'd kind of like to figure this out.
I have since:
Created a new user account.
Premiere and Photoshop run fine.
Copy everything from the Old User folder except the ntuser.* files that are the common culprit on corrupt user accounts - although there have been no other indications of that.
Premiere and Photoshop fail in the same way as before.
Create a new user account.
Copy everything not Adobe in the User folders.
New user account now behaves (mostly) like the old user account but Premiere and Photoshop work.
Incidentally, even though I verified that it was checked, Syncing user settings with the Cloud does not restore my saved workspaces. It does restore effects presets.

Why do some Apps stop working after synching?

Each time I synch my iPhone 4S with iTunes, a number of recently added apps won't work. They only "shudder" but won't open. They are however, on the list with the other open apps.
Also, My phone keeps telling me that 7 apps didn't not synch and that I should refer to my ITunes for more info. Can't find anything...???

Apps stop working after 2.1 update

My apps don't load anymore after I updated to 2.1. I have turned off the phone completely and turned it back on, but that still didn't help.
Anyone have any answers?

My apps outside of what comes with the phone has all bought the farm.

Airplay audio from iPhone 4's iPod app stops working after a few songs

I have problems with airplaying songs from my iPhone 4 to my Apple tv.
Everything works fine but after a few songs it suddenly stops and I'm not able to switch it back on. After a few hours I'm able to airplay again but only a few songs till the problem reapears.
Streaming music from my iMac to Apple tv works flawless over wifi so it shouldn't be a network problem.
