Html 5 to ac3

I started a project in creative cloud cc flash with html 5, but I need to convert the project to action script 3.0. Is there any way I can do this? I know its easy to go ac3 to html5, but I need it the other way around.

Please do not post the same question twice... I already answered in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1439573?tstart=0
You need the actual program forum, not this general Cloud forum
This forum is actually about the Cloud, not about using individual programs
Once your program downloads and installs with no errors, you need the program forum
If you start at the Forums Index http://forums.adobe.com/index.jspa
You will be able to select a forum for the specific Adobe product(s) you use
Click the "down arrow" symbol on the right (where it says ALL FORUMS) to open the drop down list and scroll

  • How to open .AC3 files in Audition CS5.5

As the latest Adobe Audition 5.5 does not have the codec/plugin for opening .AC3 files, I need to download and install the latest QuickTime player for the required codec/plugin.
However, after installing the QuickTime Player, Audition 5.5 seemed to open the .AC3 file I've selected but the whole duration of the AC3 file is blank and has nothing in the waveform. I could not hear anything during the playback.
The fact is that when the AC3 file is playing through the Windows Media Player 12 with AC3Filter, the file can be heard and has no error.
Does anyone know the solution to this issue?

The D7000 was first supported in Camera Raw 6.3.

CS5 shipped with Camera Raw 6.0 and is compatible through to Camera Raw 6.7

Download and install Camera Raw 6.7 and you'll have D7000 Raw support

  • How to open .divx files and AC3 codecs?

    Hi,
I am new at Macbook. I just got it one week ago, and i dunno how to use it, but I love my mac...
My question is how can I play .divx files, and some of the movies I have coded with ac3, so how can I play them?
    thanks,

Hi ecetin and welcome to the forums!
Congratulations on the new macbook - I hope you will both be very happy!
Here is the 'full nine yards' on what you need:
These are the downloads and the settings you need in order to view/hear pretty much everything that the net can throw at you: The setup described below has proved repeatedly successful on both PPC and Intel macs, but nothing in life carries a guarantee!
It is known to work in the great majority of cases with Safari 3.0.4, 3.1, 3.1.1, QT 7.3, 7.4.x and 7.5 and OS 10.4.11.
Assuming you already run Tiger versions OS 10.4.11 and have Quicktime 7.4 or above, and are using Safari 2 or 3, download and install (or re-install even if you already had them) the latest versions, suitable for your flavor of Mac, of:
RealPlayer 11 (which is no longer in beta) for Mac from:
    http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15540
Flip4Mac WMV Player from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx (Windows Media Player for the Mac is no longer supported, even by Microsoft)
    Perian from http://perian.org/
You should read this support page http://perian.org/#support in case you need to delete older codecs.
Adobe FlashPlayer should first be uninstalled using the appropriate uninstaller available here:
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157&sliceId=2
and then the latest version obtained from here:
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1ProdVersion=ShockwaveFlash
    and installed.
(You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS, but please see my footnote if you are running Leopard.)
In earlier versions than QT 7.1.3 in Quicktime Preferences, under advanced, UNcheck Enable Flash, and under Mime settings/Miscellananeous only check Quicktime HTML (QHTM).
You should also ensure, if you are running Tiger 10.4.11, that you have downloaded and installed all the correct version for your Mac of Security Updates up to and including 2008-004. (N.B. Security Updates require both a restart and a permission repair.)
In Macintosh HD/Library/Quicktime/ delete any files relating to DivX (Perian already has them). However it should be noted that Perian is not an internet plugin and will not play DivX files imbedded on a website. For that you will need the DivX Player browser plugin available from http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/
Now go to Safari Preferences/Security, and tick the boxes under Web Content (all 4 of them) to enable Java.
Lastly open Audio Midi Setup (which you will find in the Utilities Folder of your Applications Folder) and click on Audio Devices. Make sure that both Audio Input and Audio Output, under Format, are set to 44100 Hz, and that you have selected 'Built in Audio'.
Important: Now repair permissions and restart.
You should also consider having the free VLC Player from http://www.videolan.org/ in your armory, as this plays almost anything that DVD Player might not.
There is an additional 'fix' you could try if you are having problems with Flash and Quicktime, depending on which type of Mac you have:
On Intel Macs, make sure that you are not running Safari in Rosetta. You can check this, and change it, in the Get Info window.
On PPC Macs, go to the Hard Disk/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, and drag the file 'QuickTime Plugin.webplugin' to the desktop. Quit and restart Safari. If things have improved you can trash that file. If they haven't put it back, as the lack of this plug-in can cause QT content in some widgets to cease functioning.
And now there is an additional kid on the block: SilverLight. Microsoft has created their own version of what a replacement for Flash should be. You can read more about it here:
    http://silverlight.net/
So, if you go to any sites that have been designed for this new Silverlight stuff, you can download the plug-in from here (but make certain that you are downloading SilverLight v.1.0 for OS X (10.4.8 upwards):
    http://silverlight.net/GetStarted/
    FOOTNOTE
    If you are running Leopard:
Some users have mentioned that the latest Flash Player (v.9.0.115.0) conflicts with Leopard, and that they have needed to revert to v. 9.0.47. This can be downloaded from here:
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14266&sliceId=1

  • IDVD 6 and AC3 audio

Does iDVD 6 do AC3 audio? No? Still only bloated PCM audio, right?
...reportedly iMovie 6 STILL has the same jaggy still image bug that has haunted us since v3 and which keeps the iMovie forums busy. I'm afraid that many other old bugs are still there.
AC3 audio support for iDVD might have been a good cause for me to upgrade but maybe I'll have to use iWeb as an excuse to take a dive into the new features and bugs in iLife 06...

So what does it look like and when does it happen?

  • Front Row won't play AC3

    hey folks
Really annoying, front row and quicktime, dont play any of my movie files that require a ac3 codec.
i have downloaded the intel codecs pack but still no joy
    has anyone else experienced this?
are there any recomended codecs out there
    many thanks

I was going to suggest the same codec. I can't remember which I'm actually using, but I know I had to try several betas a year or so back to find something that worked well, and it now works nicely. AC3 (Dolby digital) is not in the standard packs.
    So on another note:
What do you mean no pass through? Shortly I'll want to send audio through to my amp in dolby digital (using the mini TOSlink port). That includes DVD audio, digital TV and quicktime with AC3.
Apple seems to say that works.
"supporting encoded digital audio output (AC3 and DTS)"
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=303376-en
EyeTV 2.2 also says it supports the TOSlink port.
Are you saying it doesn't? That is pretty important to me, so I'm very interested.

  • Why doesn't Quicktime Support MPEG-2 with AC3 sound?

Last summer I bought a Mac Mini so I could use iMovie and iDVD to convert and edit my 20 year old VHS tapes of family events to DVDs. This Christmas I got a Samsung DVD Recorer-VCR unit that easily copies VHS to DVD in MPEG-2 format with AC3 sound.
So, I'm all set to use my Mac Mini and begin my family archives project - or so I thouhgt. I found that Quicktime and iMovie don't read MPEG-2!! Then I was relieved to find that there is a plug-in that works with Quicktime Pro that will read MPEG-2. I spent the $50 to download these 2 programs and sure enough Quikcktime Pro will now read the MPEG-2 files from my Samsung unit. However, there is no sound!!!
Is Apple purposely making it impossible to do what I'm trying to do?
Why doesn't Quicktime or iMovie support MPEG-2 with AC3 sound?
Is there some other sound format that is normally used with MPEG-2?
Why would someone create software that reads movie files but doesn'rt read the sound that goes with them?
If I can't hear my little girl sing on these movies, then this whole project is a big waste of time and money!!
I hope someone from Apple can give me some answers.
    A frustrated father,
    R. Leifield

FWIW, MPEG is a distribution format, not an editing format. The best way would be to convert VHS to DV, edit it in iMovie and burn THAT to DVDs.
Sure, MPEG is a nice compressed format taking much less space than DV but the compression takes away quality.
IMO the best approach with MPEG source would be to edit (yes, it CAN be edited) it with apps like MPEG Streamclip (very limited editing features) or Capty MPEG Edit EX (more features) and author the edited MPEGs via apps like Toast, DVDSP, Capty MPEG Edit, Sizzle etc. THEN you won't lose any quality (unless some of the GOPs have to be re-encoded, that is).
BTW, unlike QT Player, MPEG Streamclip can play also AC3 or PCM audio in MPEG files.

  • AC3 Audio Codec

I am running QT 10.2 on OSX Mountain Lion. I installed an A52/AC3 Codec that is supposed to play AC3 Audio in QT. The instructions said to put 1 component in Library/Component and the other in Library/Quicktime. In the System folder there is also a Library/Component and Library/Quicktime folders. So where do the QT components go? Do they go in all four folders? I put them in all four folders but Quicktime still did not play the AVI files with the Dolbt 5.1 (AC3) audio.

After installing Perian follow steps 1 and 2 from:

It crashes Front Row when you move over a movie that uses the ac3 codec.

  • Normalize audio level (during export to AC3 audio) -- what should it be?

Hi. New to STP (v3) in general.
Someone recommended, when I reported having issues with my burned DVDs stuttering at certain places, consistently, to both use a constant bit rate for video when encoding an MPEG2, as well as making the audio an AC3 file at 256K.
Using soundtrack pro, the 256K part I can figure out. What I'm worried about is this option (that you can't seem to bypass completely) called "dialog normalization". I have no idea what that should be set at. It defaults to -27. Now, I do all the audio work in the original edit, so I don't want this encoding to do any additional normalization. So what's the deal?
If it matters, my file that will be encoded is an uncompressed (in DV terms) AVI that was edited and rendered on a PC. I know this is not optimal for Macs, but I know it can work. So the video will be made MPEG2 with DVD studio, and I want to encode the audio as AC3, at 256K. Just for safety. These are film festival screeners, so the quality doesn't have to be maxed out.
So, where do I want this "dialog normalization" set to? In the original film, most sounds are between -18 and -6 dB, generally, rarely approaching 0. This particular film is a toughie here because there's little dialog period, mostly sound FX and music.

Dialog norm shouldn't be confused with Normalization as it is usually used.
Dialog norm is metadata popularized in AC3 (Dolby Digital) files in an attempt to have the DVD player adjust its volume so that every DVD has the same loudness. If you know the [LEQ(m)|http://www.dolby.com/assets/pdf/techlibrary/34_TV_LoudnessAES.pdf] of your track, then you should set the dialog norm to that level. LEQ(m) is a measurement of "loudness equivalence". It's invented by Dolby, but they and many others are pushing it as a way to equalize the listening experience in the face of louder and louder sounding mixesl The setting of -27 is the default setting. Unfortunately the only way to measure LEQ(m) is with an [expensive box from Dolby|http://www.dolby.com/assets/pdf/techlibrary/123_pa_br_0206Model737.Spec.pdf]. There is [software|http://www.channld.com/audle.html] that will measure [LEQ(a)|http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en-us&q=leq(a)&ie=UTF-8& oe=UTF-8], but that may be slightly different than LEQm. It might be good enough for non-broadcast.
I haven't used the STP AC3 tools, but I have used Dolby encoders in other software. If you don't know what you're doing, I would recommend setting it to OFF or -32 (if that is the highest number available). That way the DVD player will play your track at its full volume without any attenuation.
Here is a short excerpt from the [Metadata pdf|http://www.dolby.com/assets/pdf/techlibrary/18Metadata.Guide.pdf] available at dolby Labs.
+The dialogue level parameter (aka dialogue normalization or dialnorm) within the Dolby+

  • Ac3 synch track

I think it would be wonderful if encore would create a synch track for you whenever you trim the video track. Maestro has this feature and it is wonderful. You trim the video all you want, add multiple video clips...so forth, then you right click on the audio track and select create synch track. Maestro takes into account the timecodes of the source video and constructs an audio track in ac3 audio that is perfect synch. No need to slide audio or trim audio or worry if it is out of synch.
I would love to post this to the enhancements request section, but I cannot seem to figure out how. there is no add topic link or a way to create a new request. anybody know how to?

  • What is apples problem with ac3 codex?

I want to upgrade to ios6 but waiting for ac3 codex problem to be resolved how long?

What "AC3 codec problem" are you referring to? Unless I've totallly missed something, iOS has never natively supported AC3, so there's nothing faulty about your device if it's not playing an AC3-encoded file. You'll probably need to explain in more detail what it is you expect or are trying to accomplish. If you're waiting for Apple to add AC3 support to your iPad, since they've never supported it in the past, I'm not expecting such support anytime in the foreseeable future, but you can express your interest to Apple here:
