HTML email bug (with one company)

Constant Contact (service for many bulk emails for various individuals & companies)
their emails are coming in and only the left side of the page is viewable. it's really strange. so... just wanted to bring that bug to your attention.

Is this an HTML site your viewing in Safari? or is this using the Mail Application?
Both of which I am referring to as being on the iPhone. Might be some troubleshooting steps we can have you perform that could resolve the issue.

  • BIS users in Pakistan::: HTML email view with images

    Mobilink, service provider, has updated their BIS to 2.5 in July. But they are unable to provide HTML email view with images on Blackberry sets running on ver. 4.5.
    Mobilink says that it is only available to BES users at the moment. BIS users will get it late on.
    Please explain, is it a Mobilink issue or RIM? as all around the world BIS users are getiing it.

    i dont beleive this. RIM wont leave  out Mobilink, infact they cant. The upgrade was done on BIS servers across the board not for some service providers. You probably wanna try another device or may be re-install oS On device?

  • Three emails sent with one record each

    Hi all there are three records that result from the query but instead of sending all three results in the email it sends three emails with one record each. I can't use cfoutput in the cfmail tag. What do I do? Thanks
    <cfquery name="qNames" datasource="salesdb">
    select * from company, industries, division
    where Date(company.meeting) = '#DateFormat(Now(),"yyyy-mm-dd")#'
    and company.SECTORS1 = industries.SECTORSIDS
    and division.DEPARTMENTIDS = company.DEPARTMENT1
    ORDER BY company</cfquery>
    <cfmail to="[email protected]"
    from=[email protected]
    subject="Today's email"
    type="text"
    query="qNames">
    Dear Fred
    #company#
    #sectorsnom#

    Hi
    Just add Cfoutput to output the value of the query in Cfmail tags Like shown below.
    <cfquery name="qNames" datasource="salesdb">
    select * from company, industries, division
    where Date(company.meeting) = '#DateFormat(Now(),"yyyy-mm-dd")#'
    and company.SECTORS1 = industries.SECTORSIDS
    and division.DEPARTMENTIDS = company.DEPARTMENT1
    ORDER BY company</cfquery>
    <cfmail to="[email protected]"
    from=[email protected]
    subject="Today's email"
    type="text"
    query="qNames">
    Dear Fred
    <cfoutput>
    #company#
    #sectorsnom#
    </cfoutput>
    </cfmail>
    You can also use cfloop before the cftag and get the data stored using <cfsavecontent >. Inside Cfmail you can output cfsavecontent value
    Please let me know if this post could help

  • Map pearson email id with working Company Email ID

    Hi,
    I have taken the Oracle Certification exam using my personal email id. Is there any way to badge this with the Company Email ID . So that it should display in Specialzaion status.
    Thanks

    Your post doesn't provide sufficient details for me to be positive what your situation is.  I'll provide some background and then make some suggestions.
    There are two accounts, your Pearson Vue account and your OTN account.
    You take the test under the Pearson Vue account, but link to your Oracle Partner Network company through the OTN account.
    The Pearson Vue account and the OTN account are linked via your Oracle Testing ID.
    First of all, both my Pearson View account and my OTN account are under a non-company ID.  Despite that, I have badged my OTN account to my company. From this I know that it is not required that the OTN account use a company email.
    Second, theoretically the Pearson Vue account and the OTN account could use different email addresses.  I haven't tried this, but the two are linked by the testing ID rather than the email address, so I don't believe there is anything preventing this.
    If one of the above doesn't resolve your problem, I need more details.

  • Multiple email address with one server account

    Why can't Mail have multiple email addresses on one email account? Like Thunderbird calls them Identities. As I remember, Outlook also supports this. I like Mail but it seems rather dated and clunky in this respect.
    I am using mainly IMAP so maybe I should switch to Thunderbird but I do still have some old messages in pop accounts in Mail.

    You can have multiple accounts, but only one "identity." Configure new mail accounts for all the different email addresses you may have. They can each have different configurations, different servers, etc. as well as be individually made active or inactive. All incoming mail will funnel into a single Inbox, but you can use rules to transfer incoming mail to separate mailboxes based on the account.
    What you cannot have are distinct "personalities."
    Bear in mind that Mail is intended for a single user and the vast number of single users only have one email account. I actually have four different email addresses but three of them are set to forward mail to the account I use with Mail. Mail works quite well with IMAP, POP, and Outlook mail accounts.

  • Can you have 2 seperate email addresses with one apple account

    My family has had one apple account forever.  My wife just changed her email address to an @icloud.com
    Can her address or account be linked to my longstanding apple account?

    No. She can have her own Apple ID which is her new email address. She can then create her own iTunes Account. But you can only have one email address per Apple ID and account.

  • Two email accounts with one apple Id, message synced

    I have 1 Apple ID but have my daughters email address and mine on it. How do I stop her messages coming through on my iPhone?

    Create a NEW account for her using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.
      Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
    The use that new ID for:
    - Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.
    You also may want to do that here to :
    - Settings>FaceTime sign out of your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that under You can be reached at only her ID email address is listed
    - Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with hers

  • Html email bug in iOS 6?

    Hi,
    I was testing out a campaign on my two devices and I found something strange happens in iOS 6 mail:
    as per the screenshot, on iPhone 5 iOS 6 all the very narrow images (.png) are showing as black lines, while on an iPhone 4 iOS 5 they are showing correctly.
    Also, if I change these images to .jpg they will show perfectly fine.
    Here are the screenshots:

  • Creating html email with apple's mail

    How do i get an html page (created in Dreamweaver) to show up in apple's mail window?
    I want the html page to display. If I just attach the html file all I get is an icon of the file not the look of the html file (ie with background color and placed photo and html text). I know to have the placed image with an absolute reference (ie. http://www.whatever.com/image.jpg)

    Tiger Mail uses Apple's new WebKit authoring engine, creating complex HTML email messages with Mail's trademark simplicity. However, most of the power of that engine is inaccessible. Aside from the addition of an "Add Hyperlink…" menu item, Mail's composition window offers no better text or layout controls than 10.0's Mail did in 2001.
    Tiger was replaced by Leopard last October, and Leopard Mail has a new feature called Stationery which might provide some of what you are talking about:

    After entering master password, I have to enter password for each of mine email accounts also.
    Let's say for 20 accounts I must enter 20 different passwords, and it's time consuming. Can Thunderbird
    store all my passwords, so I can open all email accounts with one master password. If not can I get a Add-on or opp in order to do this, please let me know.
    Your dedicated user Tony.

    When entering the account password, check the box to remember it.

  • IPhone HTML email thumbnails fail to link

    I have an HTML email design with a section that uses images as links (thumbnails) to higher resolution versions of themselves.  It works everywhere except the iPhone; each time you tap the link (a low res, small image), it brings up the "Save as" and "Copy" buttons instead of sending you to the Hi-Res image... What's wrong?
    I can only be certain the problem exists on an iPhone4 (non "s").  I've heard it rumored that it may be a problem with the iPhone 4 specifically?  Any workaround?

    Ooops, I spoke a little to soon.  I was so excited to finally see the BG image show up, that I didn't even notice that the table data was not displaying. Argggh!
    Where in your code would I add the data?
    I have it in this little 3 by.3 table  which I attempted to nest inside a cell of your code.  Looked fine in a browser, but was invisible in newer Outlook messages.

  • Possible bug with HTML emails and attachments from Mail.app

    I'm trying to send an attachment with an HTML email from Mail.app and getting unexpected results. I've been messing around with the order that things get added to the new e-mail and it seems that I can have either an attachment or I can have HTML email, not both.
    The code... (of course simplified)
    tell application "Mail"
    set new_message to make new outgoing message with properties {subject:"A subject", sender:"[email protected]"}
    tell new_message
    set visible to true
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {address:"[email protected]"}
    tell content to make new attachment with properties {file name:alias "Path to your file as string"} at after the last paragraph
    set html content to "<head><body>Some HTML here...</body></head>"
    end tell
    send new_message
    end tell

    The problem is that there is no such thing as HTML email.
    Well, I wonder what I have been generating for over three years now. RTF ? Because it sure looks like HTML. I must agree that HTML is not documented or even mentionned in the Mail AS dictionnary, but it does work, though you must specify visible to false so that it does. Here's my sub:
    tell application "Mail"
    set DMF to default message format
    set default message format to plain text
    set newMessage to make new outgoing message with properties {subject:theSubject}
    tell newMessage
    set visible to false
    set sender to theSender
    make new to recipient at end of to recipients with properties {name:Photographer, address:theAddress}
    set html content to "<html><head><title>" & theSubject & "</title></head><body>" & "This is an automated response." & theSource & "Find your personnal planning on the web: " & thelink & "
    </body></html>"
    end tell
    send newMessage
    set default message format to DMF
    end tell

  • Problems with Anchors in HTML email

    We're having problems getting Mail.app to properly respond to Anchors in HTML email.
    At the beginning of a newsletter-type email, we have a short TOC, with links to anchors further down the page.
    Clicking on the anchors does not do anything, only double-clicks make Mail.app respond, but then it jumps to the wrong location. Instead of jumping and putting the anchor at the top of the visible window, it puts it just below the visible window - effectively jumping to the end of the previous article, instead of the beginning of the current one.
    We have been able to reproduce the problem on a number of machines, all running Mac OS 10.6 and Mail.app 4.
    The problem does not occur in Mail.app 3.5 under OS 10.5, or in any other mail program.
    Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there a workaround for this?
    Thanks

    Turns out it's a bug in the Snow Leopard version of mail.app.
    Let's see how long it will take Apple to fix this

  • Help needed with creating HTML email in Dreamweaver

    Hi everyone, would really appreciate some help with a dilemma or two that I have.
    I have created the following newsletter in Dreamweaver and uploaded it to our website:
    http://www.nova-design.co.uk/sales/000030.html
    Now, when I go into my email mass mailing client (Handymailer) and send a test out, I encounter a couple of problems.
    Firstly, in Outlook when I receive the email, the grey table on the right of the eshot, is crushed and a lot of the single line text is forced to go over two lines...
    Secondly, in Hotmail, the table displays fine, but it does say that "This message is too wide to fit your screen.  Show full message."
    Once I click "Show full message" it displays in full, but I then need to scroll across to the middle of the browser to view the email.
    If I left align the newsletter will this problem be solved?  Or is there a way in Dreamweaver that I can edit the entire page size so that it's not too wide?
    The table is 600px wide so I assumed that any email sent out would shrink to this size.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!  This is the first full HTML email I have sent out so it's going to be far from perfect!

    I need to look into using inline css styles, I have no idea how to so need to read up on those.
    I created a transparent GIF and placed it, but that moves my text down because the image is in the way?  Am I doing that right?
    Make the transparent gif 1px high.
    Is it the links in the right column that go onto two lines? If so that could be because the links are wider than the actual column itself..so you will have to make column wider.
    If you can't sort it, have  a look at the code below, copy and paste into a new Dreamweaver document and test out. Inline css styling is used in the code below. I've masked your email so no spam bots get hold of it.
