Html error while downloading table entries to Excel.

Hi,
I am getting an error while downloading table entries from webdynpro to excel. After some entries below error script comes and this is not comming all the times.
Is this because of large size?Can anyone please suggest me on this?

I wrote a new Wiki Code Tutorial which demonstrates how to download an Excel file from a Web Dynpro Table UI element on-demand. In this scenario the resource gets re-created on every request. The solution is based on re-initializing the context with a new 0-byte resource object within the calculated context attribute getter method.

Error while downloading Report as an Excel Sheet

Hi All,
I have a issue regarding enabling download of report as a excel sheet. Here is the summary of the issue I am facing.
I have enabled report links in the Dashboard and saved the Dashboard. The download link is visible and when I click on the link
it gives the option of excel and pop up window starts showing that the download has started. But midway it says the application URL is unavailable.
My query is are there any server settings which we need to enable or add to allow the download of reports are excel sheets.
The download to excel works fine in Firefox.
The problem is with MIME type which is .mhtml in IE browser.
Our Instance is SSO wired.
If we remove the SSO, download to excel works fine in both IE and Firefox.
Any inputs on this?

Error while transporting table entries to QA

Hi All,
I am working on system 4.6C i have a ztale with 3 key fields.
I have added entries in table sucessfully.
While imprting to Quality system.
key field1 2183
Key field2 A
Key field3 CHF
It returns an return code with message called 'key of table Ztest (6102183 ACHF) only valid up to offset 13. It's better to skip it.
It has only enter when i enter values in 3 key fields. If i left key field2 as empty for those entries the values are impoerted to quality suceesfully.
Can anybody please let me know what would be the problem.

YOu can try transporting the entries using generic keys.

Error while downloading data into excel file.

Hi,
    I have a requirement to download data available in xstring to excel file.
I have a RFC which has export parameter 'file_data' of type xstring. When i call RFC
from web dynpro abap application it gives data out pout in xstring format.
I am opening excel file using that xstring data as below
cl_wd_runtime_services=>attach_file_to_response(
i_filename = 'file.xls'
i_content = ls_data_source-data_source   ***[xstring data from RFC]
i_mime_type = 'x-excel/application'
i_in_new_window = abap_true ).
But excel file not coming in correct format. its giving an error while download
excel file
Error is
      " the file you are trying to open , 'file[1].xls', is in a different format than
specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from
a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now? "
If i click on 'YES' button file opening but not in proper excel format. Data is coming
in tab delimiter format in excel file.
Please suggest any solution for this problem.

Hi Guyz...
I've been facing a few issues regarding activation of transfer structures.
I'll explain the whole process...so it makes sense to you guys.
I've initially activated the Transfer Structures in BI Content for Master Data. Later on we faced some issues in the DEV server. So we had to transport all the objects and store them locally on a temporary location. When the BI DEV sever, was up and running, we transported all the objects back to the server.
Now while moving the objects back to the sever. We had an errors in the Master Data Request (Log- Method Execution). After going into the log...this is what I found.

I am getting a error"Error while creating table 'EDISEGMENT' entry", when running the program RS_Transtru ActivateAll to activate the transfer rules as we had reconnected our source system,
we are on 2004s server and on SP level 17, I understand that this issue is created as the transfer rules are using IDOC as transfer method, and I Cannot manually change the transfer method to PSA and activate as the number of transfer rules with this issue are huge in number.
Please suggest the suitable solution

should correct the inconsistencies and afterwards you can re-import the
request and it should then work.

I have an entry for '/BIC/CIWA0TRZONE_TEXT' in the table 'EDISEGMENT' do need to delete it before importing the transport. How to delete this entry, I donot see the options in SE11 /SE16..

can you please be more precise with your enquiry?
As far as I read the note, it is quite explanatory....
What is your source system release?
You'll need to implement this prog in your source system and execute it there.
If everything works and is fine, import to program in your QA/PROD source systems and rexecute it as specified in the note...

Delete entries for the data source in ROOSGEN, EDISEGMENT and EDSAPPL tables, both on ECC and BI sides.
Try activating the infosource again. This should solve your problem.

Many other transfer structures work fine, but this one is really problematic.

Excel service and OWA - getting ERROR while trying to open/edit Excel documents

We have configured SharePoint 2013 with Excel Service and OWA (Office Web Apps).
After configuring, we are able to view/edit Word or PowerPoint documents from the browser (as OWA is configured). But we are getting errors while trying to open/edit Excel documents.
We are not able to view/edit the excel workbook from the browser (through OWA).
To open the excel in the browser, decision has to be taken at the farm level on what to be used – Excel Service or OWA Server? Is it possible to do setting at site collection level?

I have the same issue while opening the file , i have checked every thing twice. but unable to fix this thing . can any one help.

In the system where the error occurs (usually the OLTP), create and run the report RS_CHECK_TS_EDISEGMENT (with SENDING and RECEIVING LOGSYS as an entry).

Error while download HR integrator having parameter

We created HR integrator and then selected Standalone_Integrator_Queries for assigning parameters which are following.
Example:
Integrator Name - CUSTOM TEST People3 INTG
SQL Where Clause – WHERE EFFECTIVE_DATE = '31-DEC-4712' AND EMPLOYEE_NUMBER = $PARAM$.EMPLOYEE_NUMBER
1st Parameter Name – EMPLOYEE_NUMBER
1st Parameter Type – Varchar2
1st Parameter Prompt– EMPLOYEE_NUMBER
Below error while download file for particular employee.
SQL error: ORA-00904: "EFFECTIVE_DATE": invalid identifier occurred processing stored SQL for Content 800:GENERAL_362_CNT.
Download parameters are not complete
Secondly, now if remove effective parameter coditions and reload the same then layout taking twice input for the employee field, is there any table which is configured parameter with integrator

I have incorporated both option as you suggested but still there is not getting all employee when pass blank employee number at the time of Parameter.
if this is working try to evolve it into something like:
SQL Where Clause – WHERE (EMPLOYEE_NUMBER = $PARAM$.MY_EMPLOYEE_NUMBER or $PARAM$.MY_EMPLOYEE_NUMBER is null)
SQL Where Clause – WHERE (EMPLOYEE_NUMBER = nvl($PARAM$.MY_EMPLOYEE_NUMBER, EMPLOYEE_NUMBER)
Secondly user ("936671") suggested to use where_clause in such manner but this where system doesn't accespt due to (:PER) SHORT NAME.
should i apply patch for this or need to change some profiles setting.
