HTML Format for Smartform
Hi,
How can I change the format of a Smartform to the different output formats "Html" or "PDF" in the programm?.
Have I to change the output-options ? What are the combinations?.
Where can I read anything about these questions?.

Where to add html format for phone # so it dials on touch in List View
Hi,
In Apex 4.2 Jquery mobile list view how can you apply html format for the phone# field to make it dial with a touch. For example, I see how to do a list view of the 'DEMO_CUSTOMER' sample data, but I cannot figure out how to format the phone # fields so that they will dial on touch. I know the HTML tags to use and I know how to use it in a standard report, but I can't figure out list view.

Thanks for the quick response! I found the Settings and subtype but when I set to phone it does not make the phone # dial-able on touch.
In a report I can set : Column Formatting --> HTML expression to:
<a href="tel:#PHONE_NUMBER#">#PHONE_NUMBER#</a>
The phone # will then dial out when touched on smartphone. List view does not seem to allow formatting the column with such a format. Seems strange that Jquery mobile would not have this type of formatting 'built in' so any subtype defined as phone would automatically be dialed on touch.

How to export the report in HTML format for desktop application
Hi,
i have wrote the JRC desktop application to export the report and i am able to export it in PDF and other formats as mentioned in "ReportExportFormat" API.
i would like to know is there any API there which can export the report in HTML format.
i know it would be possible with web based application of JRC, but how can i do it in desktop application?There's no mechanism for static HTML pages that displays the report.
You can use the CrystalReportViewer DHTML viewer, but that's 'interactive'.

Problem in Displaying image in HTML format for BI Publisher (OTM)
Hello,
We are using OTM 6.2 and we are developing the IB reports to the customer.
I am getting dificulty while displaying the image in HTML format. I used image in JPEG format. When i am running the report, It displayed only in PDF format, but not in HTML and Excel format.

i have gone thru all your threads on a similar sort of issue which i am facing now, However i m bit struck as i m newbie.
Issue:i am insering a static picture from the c drive into the header section of the rtf template and when previewing the rtf template on the BI publisher the jpg image disappears. i have tried adding the url into the format picture -->alt tab.Still no signs of improvement.
However if just placing the jpg image on header section without using the wrap text it gets displayed.But if i use wrap text on the image ,it disappears.
could you guide me please in fixing this issue .

Logo (tiff format) for Smartforms
I am having a bmp image but need to convert this first in tiff format . This i am doing through paint .
Then , I want to have this image ( tiff format ) as logo of a smartform .
So i am uploading the same(tiff image ) from se78 transaction .
But ahile uploiading its throwing an error "Erroroneous tif format " .What can be the cause of this error . How should i proceed ?Due to some loss of colour information in bmp , i have to go for tiff format as no loss of colour information is occuring in tiff .
But i am not able to upload the same(thru se78) and need to know the same .
Is "baseline 6.0" version in tiff only supported for uploading through se78 ? -
Non viewable font format for smartforms

Please tell me setting in font which displays during the print preview but when some one take printout then text with following font doesn't come.
In print preview it displays but during printout it doesn't .
Any suggestions welcome,

Email smartform in html format
Hello all,
I've been searching SDN for help with creating an email in html format via smartforms. Pavan Bayyapu's blog was really helpful and I've also used program SF_XSF_DEMO_MAIL as the basis for my program. I followed their examples exactly but my emails always appear as a .MTL attachment, never as just the body of the email.
I tried removing the file name from lo_mime_helper->set_main_html and from lo_mime_helper->add_binary_part as suggested by some other folks but I haven't had any success.
Has anyone solved this same issue? Maximum points will be given to helpful suggestions.

Unable to receive email in HTML format on BB Torch 9860 with BIS
I recently purchased BB Torch 9860 with OS 7 and configured by personal and work email on BIS. I am receiving emails only in text format. In some emails with images that have hyperlink, I just see a link and images not displayed. All the images comes as an attachment in the email. My friend having another BB Torch is able to view emails as HTML. But he is with BES.
Is there any solution for my issue? I am not receiving any options in the email preference to enable HTML format for emails.
Appreciate if anyone could help me with this.

How to send the body of mail in html format using servlet

i developed an servlet using sun.net.smtp.SmtpClient package,my servlet receiving data from an form,i can able to send mail successfully,but my mail body part is in the text format,but i would like to send it as an html format,for ex <input type="text" size="25" name="Name"> as an input field with value received from the form instead of showing tags as i mentioned<input type="text" size="25" name="Name"> ,any help would be appreciated.

In smartforms we can switch between Portrait and Landscape formats in the tab "OUTPUT OPTIONS"
In the FORM ATTRIBUTES, "OUTPUT OPTIONS" tab we can select the type of page format, Characters per inch, lines per inch etc.

-give your button some layout (e.g.: BoxLayout.Y_AXIS, or BorderLayout).
-create the wrapped text in separate JLabels (one line in each label)
-add your labels to the button
Advantage:
this solution does not affect the laf classes
Disadvantage:
focus rectangle is not calculated accurately

Here , I ahve a requirement, the smartform <b>CRM_SLFN_ORDER_SERVICE_01</b> is going to the service desk in PDF format as all the Output types in SCOT for Scripts and Smartforms have been configured as PDF. But I have to send it in HTML format.... is there any way other than coping the Class and modifying........
if there is no way other than that PL. let me know how to modify the code to convert the output into HTML format......

Trying to send SmartForm in HTML format - error
Hello
I am having some trouble when i try to send a smart form in a html format to some e-mail recipients. I have written an program in ABAP that does the extraction of smartform contents and translates in HTML (+CSS) format, ready to be send. I got the program here

and modified it just a little bit - no major changes.
I guess the problem is in a service that is not running on the system but i don't know which is that and even where to look for that. I also explained my problem to my BC group but they don't seem to have any ideas .
I checked the system info (which comp. version we are running):

Is it something to do with the default.css url which pointing to localhost? http://localhost/SAP/BC/BSP/SAP/SMART_FORMS/DEFAULT.CSS
