HTML formatted output
Hi All,
I have xml source as,
< SAMPLE_JOB>
< ORG_DESCRIPTION>>& lt;UL& gt;& lt;LI& gt;& lt;DIV class=MsoNormal style=& quot;MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 0.25in& quot;
& gt;& lt;SPAN style=& quot;FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt& quot;
& gt;Design and deliver technical training courses to field service engineers, dealer, and customer support
personnel.& lt;/SPAN& gt;& lt;/DIV& gt;& lt;/LI& gt;& lt;/UL& gt;
< /ORG_DESCRIPTION>
< /SAMPLE_JOB>
when i am previewing in pdf output, i am getting the following for < ORG_DESCRIPTION>
< UL>< LI>< DIV class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt 0.25in">< SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: Arial;
mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">Design and deliver technical training courses to field service engineers, dealer, and customer support personnel.< /SPAN>< /DIV>< /
LI>< /UL>
I want html formatted output. I saw tims blog. But here in my xml source i am not getting direct tags (instead of "< UL>", i am getting xml output as "& lt; UL & gt;"),
can i also get the xsl equivalent code for tags like UL, LI, DIV, SPAN..
Please help me.
Your XML source is sorta odd.
Where is it coming from?
Word?
This is what your xml should look like:
< SAMPLE_JOB>
< ORG_DESCRIPTION>Design and deliver technical training courses to field service engineers, dealer, and customer support
personnel.< /ORG_DESCRIPTION>
< /SAMPLE_JOB>
Then you put it in your rtf and preview in pdf and it would look ok.
The source xml is the problem - all this stuff is wrong or does not belong:
& lt;/SPAN& gt;& lt;/DIV& gt;& lt;/LI& gt;& lt;/UL& gt;

HTML formatted output is not coming as an attachment in the mail
Hi,
We have a requirement where we have designed xslt template and generating the HTML output. In the report server/ local machine we are able to get the report as a file, but when we are scheduling the report and setting email as the delivery method we are able to get the report, but the report will be coming in the email content instead as an attachment.
Please let me know whether we need to do any setting or configuration changes in the report server to get the report as an attachment to the email.
Thanks,

Generating rotated boilerplate text in PDF, HTML format
Hi,
I am trying to create rotated boilerplate text in Report 6i to PDF, HTML formats.
Rotated text generates fine using Report 6i's own report generation (Previewer) but when it's generated to PDF or HTML format output the rotated text are mirrored (in PDF) or simply does not display (in HTML).
thank you,
AllanI tried to rotate boilerplate texts (45 degree clock wise and anti-clock wise), all works fine in PDF. HTML doesn't support rotated text natually, you can workaround this by create an image for the rotated text.

Urgent : Display logo in Smartform with XSF+ HTML as Output Format
Hi,
Through the Portal we are displaying ESS Salary Statement of a Employee for last 24 monthys in the iView using the Customized Smartform ZHR_ESS_PAYSLIP_TO_PDF which is copy of Standard Smartform HR_ESS_PAYSLIP_TO_PDF .
Requirement is that we have to change the Output Option to "XSF+HTML" and Display a logo at Top-Middle of the form.
But the problem is that Logo is only visible only when Output Option is "Standard Output". and not visible when Output Option is "XSF+HTML".
Please tell me how to display the Logo in the Smartform so that it is visible in "XSF+HTML" or "XSF" as Output Option.

How to retrieve complete report output in HTML format
Hi,
I'm looking for how to retrieve complete report output in HTML format.
I have tried the following and it only give me first page of the report output where in the actual report output should be 5 pages. Is there something I'm missing.
CallbackOption[] boCallOpt = new CallbackOption[1];
ImageManagement boImgMan = new ImageManagement();
boImgMan.setCallbackScript("getImage.jsp");
boImgMan.setImageManagementHolder("imageName");
boImgMan.setDocumentReferenceHolder("docRef");
boCallOpt[0] = boImgMan;
RetrieveData oRetrieveData = new RetrieveData();
RetrieveView oRetrieveView = new RetrieveView();
oRetrieveView.setCallbackOption(boCallOpt);
oRetrieveData.setRetrieveView(oRetrieveView);
Action[] oActions;
oActions = new Action[1];
oActions[0] = fillPrompts;
oReportEngine.getDocumentInformation(boDocInfo.getDocumentReference(), null, oActions, null,oRetrieveData);
Testing this on BOE XI 3.0
Thanks,For Web Intelligence, HTML is an interactive viewing format and not an export format such as PDF.
Note that the HTML will be embedded with postback URLs to the application for images and drill downs.
Closest you'd get is to be able to specify HTML output of an entire REPORT rather than REPORT_PAGE in the ViewSupport.setViewMode method. But this brings back just one report in the document, and will have postback URLs mentioned above.

Output of tree report to be downloaded to html format
Hi Techies,
how to download output of a tree report( created using oo abap) into HTML format.
Thanks,
Briteny.Hi,
I don't think it can be done easily, you'll have to code it yourself (not so complex if it's a custom program, if you keep things simple with the UL and LI HTML elements, and maybe even by adding TABLE, TR and TD if it's a column tree). Is the ALV tree built by standard or custom program? Is it a simple tree, or a column tree, or even mixed with ALV, or what?

Scrollbar for reports output in html format
We are creating reports with fairly large amounts of data being directed to the screen in HTML format. We were expecting to see a scrollbar along the right hand edge of the report window that allows us to see all of our data. Is this possible?
Alternatively, how would we split this data up into multiple pages? There isn't really anything to break on. We do want our totals on this last page.
Thanks.hello,
unfortunatly the varying destination types are only valid for bitmap reports.
