HTML Gallery Output error.

I am trying to output a folder of photos into an html web gallery and getting an error.
Web Gallery Output Error: I get an error when I try and do an HTML Gallery from CS6 Bridge on Windows 7 64bit. After hanging on "generating html for several minutes I get the following error.
"An error occurred in a bridge extension. JavaScript Error (Auto-Stack Panorama/HDR:3042): Internal error."
I am using  Bridge CS (Version 5.0.1.23 64bit).
Windows 7. 64BIT on a PC.
The error occurs on large and small batches. Preview and Save commands.
Any help to get this working would be very welcome. I have rebooted to get a clean run of bridge with same results.
Thank you so much,
Clarke

Nix on that. I enabled all previously disabled extensions using Extension Manager CS6 — they were all InCopy-related — and the same error occurs. I should mention the title of the error is 'An error occurred in a Bridge extension.'
Which is why it's particularly annoying that EM doesn't support Bridge anymore — no way to see which extensions Bridge uses, nor manage them.
Ah: problem solved. The default font shown was Hobo Std, of all things, and finally Bridge recognized it's a problem font and disabled it.

  • Adjust thumbnail size on HTML gallery output

The thumbnail size is too small for my needs in the HTML gallery output.  I've tried to change i tint he XML and in my user customizations, neither change seemed to have any affect.
Is there any way to chage it, or customize that template?  I'm OK with editing a config file if that would do it. I need this as a permanent change.
    I have Photoshop CS5.

Not THAT thumbnail.  The OUTPUT thumbnail in the "HTML Gallery" (note title of thread ).  Not sure what else to call it?

<i>>>>Which log file records this kind of error.....</i>
You can try the default trace files located in:
    /usr/sap/<SID>/<DVEBMGS[XX]>/j2ee/cluster/server0/log
Also, perhaps something in the 'std_server[X].out' file within the folder
    /usr/sap/<SID>/<DVEBMGS[XX]>/work
However, this gets overwritten with each restart unless you have configured the java engine to retain old log files in the instance profile (e.g. with parameter 'jstartup/keep_old_logfiles=3').

  • Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.

Adobe Bridge CS6, Output to HTML Gallery coding issue.
I have created the html, JavaScript, css file using the output function in Bridge CS6, which nicely generates the coding, pages, folders and files. I can edit the html files such as gallery title, name, etc., in Dreamweaver CS6 just fine and preview them in a selected browser (both chrome and IE) and everything works fine.
When I ftp upload the files and directories into my hosting account (Go Daddy), the images do not show up. The file table appears but the thumbs images does not appear and when selected to preview the larger image, it does not appear either. I have not altered the file structure at all. Go Daddy says it is a coding issue, but I cannot fine any errors.
Have you seen this issue before? All Adobe help research have failed. Any suggestions??

Have you asked on Go Daddy site for help in uploading Adobe Bridge script?  Just to say it is coding is not helpful.

  • Bridge CS6 Output to HTML Gallery - images not showing up

Bridge CS6 Output to HTML Gallery issue - my images are not showing up. The files look the same on the local and remote files. The images populate on the local and not on the remote. Is this a JavaScript problem.
    Any help is appreciated.
I've done a work around solution by using Lightroom, creating a quick collection for a custom order HTML web gallery. I would much prefer to stay within Bridge CS6 and have its HTML gallery actually work...

    Hi AlbiDan,
Its possible that it might be a Javascript issue. I see that javascript is used in the HTML gallery. Did you upload through Bridge or from an FTP client? Do you have the URL for a broken gallery?

  • Using WEB Output HTML Gallery and uploading using ftp upload the HTML page views correctly but images only display the alt tag?

Using WEB Output HTML Gallery and uploading using ftp upload the HTML page views correctly but images only display the alt tag in the browser window?

After a little investigation, I discovered that PNGs also do not render correctly in IE7 in similar circumstances.
I ended up using Levels in Photoshop to bring the output blacks up to "5", saved the images as PNGs, modified the HTML from .jpg to .png, and that seems to have covered up the problem well enough.
By the way, I did confirm that IE8 beta 2 renders the images correctly.

  • Default HTML Gallery: How to make Slider for 'thumb.width' & apply output sharpening on thumbnails

    Hi,
I am in the process of teaching myself the LRWebengine by modifing the file 'galleryInfo.lrweb' which is default HTML Gallery.
I am intensively reading and using SDK 3.0.
Not sure whether I am asking in the right forum but give it a try anyway.
What I'd like to achive is to have a slider allowing to change the width of the thumbnails in the section for Grid Pages and later to apply output sharpening on thumbnails.
Currently the size for the thumbnails width & height is set to 130px (["photoSizes.thumb.height"] = 130)
There is no problem to change the size for all thumbnails manually by changing this and its associated values at lines 96, 110, 114, 134, 138 in galleryInfo.lrweb.
What I'd like to find out is the following:
    - how to properly include a slider row in the section for 'Grid pages' (presumably right after line 358)
    - how to create a variable (eg. $sliderThumbWidth) from the selected slider-value
    - so that this variable can be used to replace the current preset values at lines (96, 110, 114, 134, 138)
    - later and in addition, apply sharpening 'high' (level=3) on output for thumbnails
First I thought I'd be able to figure it out by myself, but after two days of fiddling it seems that I can't. I am stuck with the creation of the variable '$sliderThumbWidth' and assume that the new 'slider_row' is not coded properly.
Hope someone can give me hints and will help me out on this.
    Thanks for your attention.

... have a slider allowing to change the width of the thumbnails in the section for Grid Pages ...
Got this one worked out alright. Yeah, thumbs can now be dynamically adjusted in the WEB-UI.
Remains the problem to find out how to apply output sharpening on thumbnails.
Has someone ideas how to achieve this?
    Thanks for replies.

  • HTML Gallery, metadata and image download

    hi,
I find Bridge collections really useful and output to html gallery template pretty good looking as a quick way to show prospect clients themed presentations of my work. There are two issues though which I hope someone can help with, or that Adobe would change if  listening in on this.
Whereas the html gallery template reads the metadata like description, title and filename,  metadata is being stripped from the image when image is downloaded from gallery.
That the image can be downloaded and that meta data is stripped from the image files are two reasons not to use what otherwise could have been an excellent product.
I would prefer the coding of this html gallery to prevent download of individual image files and as content providers we totally rely on metadata being contained with image file. Are there ways I can change this without going to script amendements?
If the solution should not be with adobe, could anyone suggest another product that could cater for this need?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Torunn

Amendments (and apologies for errors in my original post. Copyright status, -notice and -url are indeed contained in metadata for downloaded image, so not so bad then Wish list thus shortended to description field and the IPTC contact data. Though why not all?

  • TTG HTML Gallery

TTG HTML Gallery is pretty much what it sounds like: a new HTML gallery for Lightroom. It outputs valid XHTML and CSS, and a lot more customization options than the LR HTML gallery. It boasts thumbnail annotations, ratings, color labels and onImage Navigation among its many features.

Think I may have found an answer for Mel.
I was having the same problem as Mel, but only on my standalone PC (non-internet connected). In LR, the wooden background is visible, as is the help button, and the images can be moved around the screen but not double-clicked. Previewing the gallery seemed to generate the previews (active progress bars at top of screen) but IE did not open. Additionally, clicking on Preview again showed this error message, even though there were no active progress bars showing:
Tried reinstalling Flash 9 but no success. However, my internet-enabled laptop worked fine, albeit without the double-click working in the LR preview. Then I realised that my laptop uses Firefox as the default browser. I installed Firefox and the Flash plugin on my standalone PC and voila! The preview in browser option works perfectly! I can only assume this is a problem with IE or the Flash plugin for IE.
Additionally, I went back to the LR preview on the laptop and in desperation/annoyance, I started hammering the left-click button on the trackpad (work's laptop, ha!) and found that the zoom function DOES work - if you TRIPLE-click on a preview and do it REALLY fast (was using two hands, one finger not fast enough for me despite my video game addiction!)
Weird. Anyway, do like the gallery, as well as the Slimbox version. Thanks for these.
By the way, both machines run XP Pro, LR 1.1, Flash 9 and Firefox 2.0.0.6.
    Kind regards,
    mcv

  • Is it possible to get an output error when there is no error?

Ok so I did a picture slide show in flash CS5 where I used actionsript 3. I added a button so that when you click it will go to the next picture. Then on the last one it will go from the last picture and reset back to the first picture. I even added some music with a stop and play button so if you are playing some music and say you get tired of it while looking through the pictures you can click the play/ stop button and it will stop.
I got the following error in my output error-
TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.display::MovieClip@64b30f99 to flash.display.SimpleButton.
    at flash.display::MovieClip/nextFrame()
    at johnexercise3_fla::MainTimeline/fl_ClickToGoToNextFrame_5()
This error occurs when I go to test movie about half way through my photo gallery this message will pop up. The thing about it is that despite the error all my images load and play correctly as they should and my sound plays and stops as I ask it too. I guess I could ignore the error seeing as how everything works 100% fine despite the error but I was just wondering if this error is something serious or if I should be concerned? If it is something to worry about then what can I do to fix it? Again as I said the error is there but the test movie shows everything perfectly fine.

Sorry. I may have mis-spoken. I have 2 image gallery projects. One of them has a button that you click to go from one picture to another along with a stop and play button for the music. Now my second project which is in seperate flash document is the same exact project except that instead of using a button to click from one picture to another I am clicking on the picture itself to get from one image to the next. My 2nd project is the one that had the error.  And I also kept the stop and play music button on that one. I am not sure about anything else that would have caused this code error but it went away for now. For some reason it was giving me this error and I closed out of flash and restarted as it kept acting funny at school today and for some reason the error went away. I will keep what you and kglad said in case the error comes back just do that. Thanks again to the both of you.

  • Disk utility 'input/output error' message?

I am "creating an image" of a DVD using disk utility (prior to making a copy on a blank DVD disk).   Why am I now rec'ing an 'input/output error' message?   I have already copied several other DVDs from the same author (with her permission, they are not copywrited.) w/o a problem.
What's going on?  original damaged? an incorrect step on my part?  some sort of space problem?  ( I have tons of room on my iMac.)
    Thanks for your help.

Take a look at Cinematize 2, I've used it with iMovie 06 and iDVD 08. It has several modes of converting the data. One mode is called "lossless".
For the job you're doing you may prefer to use iMovie 06 instead of iMovie 08 (I would).
iMovie 06 and iDVD 08 is a terrific combination.
Your workflow would go something like this.
Use Cinematize 2 to create a Quicktime file from the DVD.
    http://www.miraizon.com/products/products.html
Important that file into iMovie 06.
From iMovie 06, share to iDVD 08 (assuming you want a DVD).

  • Unable to create "filename.cdr". (Input/output error)

I am trying to create an ISO from a CD. I've tried using Disk Utility, with all different settings, and Terminal. Additionally, I attempted to make the ISO using an array of third party CD-rippers on a PC. Every platform and method has yielded this error message:
Unable to create "filename.cdr". (Input/output error) after several seconds of processing.
I am stuck. The only thing I can think of is that the CD is read-only, though I don't know how to modify my approach in response to this. Can it still be done with a read-only disk? If so, any help in this would be appreciated.
Beyond that, the disk's format is ISO 9660 (Rockridge). I don't know of any other details to provide, but gladly will if anyone can come up with any.

  • Photoshop CS5 Bridge HTML Gallery Questions

Have upgraded to CS5 from CS3 and am trying to create HTML Web Galleries that are similar to what we have been creating in CS3.
I no longer have control of the size of the thumbnails created for the Index pages and cannot create less than 3 rows of thumbnails.
We used to create 2 rows and 4 columns of 200 pixel thumbnail images.
Is this something that can be modified if we downloaded the SDK and worked with scripting?

I have found the same problem when I went from CS3 to CS4 and continued the same problem in CS5 then I researched the "Output" and "Web Gallery" section again a little more thoroughly.  Found that in almost every gallery provided there is a way to change the size and/or quantity of thumbnails in your gallery.  For instance the "HTML Gallery"  in the "Appearance" section you can change the size of the original picture (your larger picture) and the quantity of thumbnails that show up per page. Next you can save your changes in the "output" section under "Style:"  While using the "Filmstrip" template you can change the size of your thumbnails in the "Appearance" section. Hope this helps

  • HTML gallery drawing incorrectly

I'm new to Lightroom, having used Bridge for web galleries in the past.
    I'm using LR 2.1.
I created an HTML gallery with the default gallery that comes with LR.
A couple of my images are not rendering correctly in IE7 when viewed from the LR-created web page. However, if I navigate directly to the JPG file, it renders correctly.
Here are screenshots of a small portion of the images...
    http://www.bhpowell.com/lr/
As you can see, some areas render as gray spots instead of a dark (nearly black) color.
The images seem to render okay with Firefox, but not IE7.
The source of the image is in the sRGB color space.
I've tried re-creating the files, and used different JPEG compression settings. (The latter seems to have some affect on the gray spots, but they are still there.)
Exporting from Bridge doesn't have this problem, but I don't have as many web options when exporting from Bridge CS4.
In LR, the "Library" and "Develop" tabs don't show the artifacts, but the "Web" tab shows the gray spots, though not as many as the final output.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Thanks.
    Brian

After a little investigation, I discovered that PNGs also do not render correctly in IE7 in similar circumstances.
I ended up using Levels in Photoshop to bring the output blacks up to "5", saved the images as PNGs, modified the HTML from .jpg to .png, and that seems to have covered up the problem well enough.
By the way, I did confirm that IE8 beta 2 renders the images correctly.
