HTMLDB Newbie: ORA-01658 error when creating new app or table from sprdsht
Hey there. I'm new to HTML DB and trying to create a new app (or even a new table) from a simple spreadsheet. I've tried both comma and tab delimited, but get the same error message every time. This is in my workspace on htmldb.oracle.com.
"ORA-20001: create_table error: ORA-20001: Excel load run ddl error: ORA-01658: unable to create INITIAL extent for segment in tablespace FLOW_693"

Thanks, but I don't think that's the problem. My workspace is 100Mb, and it's almost empty. I can install & run sample apps just fine, but not create a new app from a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is small, to: nine columns and about 50 rows.
Any ideas?

if I try to add a new folder to a sub folder, the program does add the new bookmark folder, but it also renames the next folder in line in the parent of the original "subfolder" to the exact same name...
maybe I just need to reload the mozilla, maybe I was hacked and that is what they changed...

I think you have to set the query specification for the data provider you created. If you don't, no object is available (that'w why you received a such error).

Error while creating new app service plan for a webapp
Greetings !
I have a new webapp created and I want to move it a separate web app service plan to apply custom domain (Not available on free tier). From the new Portal I try to create new Web App Service plan and get this error.
"Failed to create App Service plan.
Failed to create App Service plan <App Service Plan Name>. There was an error processing your request. Please try again in a few moments."
Even while creation of the web app if I select create new App Service Plan it automatically goes into Free Plan.

The issue of not being able to create a new App Service Plan is now fixed. I tried to reproduce this and was able to create the App Service Plan Successfully.
You should now be able to create the App Service Plan from the New portal. Also, the App Service Plan concept is only availaible in the new portal and not the existing portal.

Oracle 8i, Getting ORA-1501 error while creating new DB
Hi folks,
I am trying create a new database on an HP Machine (Details given below) but getting following error.
ORA-1501 - signalled during Create Database
LOGFILE 'G:\logfiles\logaf1.ora'
We actually have a custom application setup.exe to create new database.
Same setup when installed on a different low end machine works fine.
Before begining the setup in summary page it shows following information.
Block buffer count = -3 Bytes
Shared Pool Size = -41425 KBytes
Yes the values displayed are in negative.
Don't know if this is the reason for the ORA-1501 error.
Can anyone please suggest how to resolve this issue.
Machine configuration is as follows:

HP Server with RAID configuration
4, PIII CPU's
RAM: "4 GB"
S/W details
O.S:Windows 2000 Server with Service Pack-2
Oracle Version: 8i
Patch applied: Oracle8i Patch Set Version 8.1.7.3.0Try look to alert<SID>.log file for full error report (you could paste it here).
Also from alert log you could get real values for db_block_buffers and shared_pool_size parameters that used during instance startup. -
ORA-20001 error when creating Tabular Form or Form and Report
Whenever I try and add a Tabular Form or Form and Report to my application i am getting the following error at the end of the Wizard.
ORA-20001: Unable to create updateable report. ORA-20001: Error creating shortcut id="" ORA-00001: unique constraint (APEX_030200.WWV_FLOW_SHORTCUT_IDX1) violatedIt's not a problem I have seen when building other apps and clearly I have managed to corrupt this application somehow.
I have loaded the problem onto apex.oracle.com for those that have access. The application number is 20325.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Contact iTunes Store Support error when creating new apple ID
This is for a business. We currently have a combination of over 150 ipads and iphones and will be adding another 20+ per month.
I am currently setting a quantity of ipads up for employees and preconfiguring them with their own itunes account. In this batch, I was able to set up the first 7 with no problems. On number 8 I keep hitting a roadblock with the message "Contact iTunes Store Support to complete this transaction". when I try to Create the Apple ID. I have had this problem before when I hit a limit (although I don't know what that number of ID's was).
These accounts do not have a credit card associated with them. To create them I am going through the route of being in iTunes with no user logged in. I go to the App Store and search for iBooks. Then try to purchase it which pops up the login/create account screen. I go through the screens adding the email address, password, security questions on the first data page. Then add none for payment options and add the address. When I click Create Apple ID I get that error message in the upper right corner.
On all of these accounts I am creating them with the same security questions, address and phone number. These devices are all based out of the same office so the address and phone numbers will be the same. I keep the security questions the same as it would be a nightmare tracking all of the different variations for hundreds of accounts. The only thing different between them is the username/email and the password.
It would be really nice if Apple gave a way to create apple ID's for business purposes in bulk instead of creating them one at a time. I will be setting up 20 new ipads per month for at least the next year.Looks like I may have found a work around solution to this problem. It appears that there is a flag or something on the computer that is not allowing me to create more ID's on that computer. As of this morning I was still unable to create any more ID's from that system.
I tried creating the same ID on another computer and was able to with no problems.
This does lead to a problem as I am setting up 20+ new ID's a month and typically work from one computer to do so.
I really wish that Apple provided a way for companies to create new Apple ID's in groups using a batch process instead of creating them one at a time. Or at least allowed you to create a new Apple ID with no credit card associated during the configuration process of the ipads. -
Report template error when creating new report via SAP menu

When trying to create a new crystal report on a SAP query, using the entry "Create new report from a SAP query" in the SAP menu an error occurs: An error ocurred while generating a new report template
The error message appears after the SAP logon and the SAP query selection.
I think this error is related to the report templates of Crystal...
Is there any default template for SAP integrated queries?
We are using Crystal Report 2008 SP2 with SAP Integration Kit.

ORA-28113 policy predicate has error when created VO with some tables
When I created a VO with just SQL statements(no EO), if the sql statements included some special tables or views such as:
hz_locations
oe_order_headers_v
when testing the validation of the sql statement, I encountered the following errors:
SQL Query Error Message: ORA-28113 policy predicate has error
and I can't continue to create this VO.
Does JDeveloper have some special rules to check some tables or views behind the scenes?
I used the apps/apps to connect and the following sql to create the VO:

As I guessed, this is related to the policy.Execute the following sql:
select * from dba_policies where object_name ='hz_locations'
you'll find the point.
So I run policy manager with oracle database client, and find the policy related to the table 'hz_locations' , and disable this policy.
At this time, with the original sql:
select * from hz_locaitons
created VO and everything goes fine and passed the validation.
But in fact I wondered if this is the best workaround for this issues.
If anyone has the same problem, you can refer to my solution.

Suddently have compile errors when creates new *.jspx in new project
I'm creating a new test case.
I created an applicaiton and a model project without any problems.
I created the view project and add a jspx document into without anything into. I got no errors when compiling.

We added some librairies in the model problem and they was in conflict with the librairies in the view project. Removing unnecesary librairies from the model solve the problem (i think servlet.jar was the problem). -
Security Network Layer (SNC) error when creating new session
in SAPGUI 710, suddenly some users are getting a popup message ("Security Network Layer SNC error") when they use the Create New Session toolbar button.
SSO works fine when they connect from SAP Logon, its only when attempting to open secondary sessions. Also, its only some users.
Where would I find log information resulting from the error? Or any suggestions on steps to troubleshoot?

Siebel Error when creating new record
Hi,
We are getting the below error everytime we are trying to create a new reocrd in the Siebel WebClient Pharma8.0.
"A Record that contains identical values to the record you have created already exists. If you would like to enter a new record , please ensure that the field values are unique. (SBL-DAT-00381). "
Everytime I try to create a new Account or contact or new instance of a workflow I am getting this error.
Also this error only occurs when I login to client as 'server' , if I login as a 'local' it doesn not create any error while creating a new record.
Could this error be because of the Database or does it have to be with the Siebel Client Installation.
Please help if anybody has faced such an issue before.
