HTTP 404 Error : Page Not Found

I recieved a *"HTTP 404 Error: Page Not Found"* when I branch via Branch To Page Identified By Item using the application_item F103_NEXT_PAGE as the item. I looked at the apache error log and found the following error message:
[Tue May 26 16:47:13 2009] [error] mod_plsql: /pls/apexcfp8/wwv_flow.accept HTTP-404 \nwwv_flow.accept: SIGNATURE (parameter names) MISMATCH\nVARIABLES IN FORM NOT IN PROCEDURE: CURRENTELEM\nNON-DEFAULT VARIABLES IN PROCEDURE NOT IN FORM: \n
I still recieved the same *"HTTP 404 Error: Page Not Found"* when I branch via Go to Page using the application_item *&F103_NEXT_PAGE.* as the page.
Can someone please help me. I am under a tight deadline and I cannot test the application further until this is resolved.

ops, sorry, you already made that test, didn't you?
The fact is i am testing on XE so there is no Apache in between.
I guess that you are getting HTTP 404 whereas i get a different message.
My best guess is that the item doesn't contain the value you say at the time of branching.
Another possibility is that you think it is using that branch, but it is conditional and the condition is not met, but there are no further branches to process and apex doesn't know where to branch to.
Does any of the above make sense?

We periodically receive 404 Page Not Found errors in our APEX applications. The problem is resolved by rebooting the server where APEX is located. We are using Oracle 10.1.0.3.0. I did some searching on the issue and found that this could be related to a bug that was fixed with Patch 5648872. However, we are on a Windows environment. Does a similar patch exist for the Windows environment?

I may be wrong but if you are using 10.1 or 10.2 you may have an issue that fills up the shared_pool to the point of failure. Try issuing the following command in SQL*Plus and see if it clears up the issue.
alter system flush shared_pool;
The DBA will likely need to issue it but if it works they can set up a scheduled job to run every so often to maintain the workaround. I am also told that there is a database patch that will also fix the issue but I am not aware of the specific ID. Might be that one of the Dev Team knows.

Yahoo loads log in click mail 404 error page not found why?

I upload yahoo site, log in, click 'mail' and am given a '404' error; page not found... This does NOT happen on Chrome or IE, but the pages of yahoo on IE suck and Chrome won't let me have a single toolbar even though there are all sorts of claim you can have one... (sorry) WHY doesn't FIREFOX let yahoo mail load? I LOVE FIREFOX and ALL THINGS MOZILLA, but after I ran into crappy-sappy babylon... it put a toolbar on IE, CHROME and MOZILLA... I had to delete everything associated with them all, get toolbar sweepers and better uninstall programs to weed their junk out and now MOZILLA, FIREFOX, rather warns no one and makes me submit this rather than help

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Exchange 2013 SP1 RPC 404 Error Page Not Found

Anyone got any ideas why on my Exchange 2013 SP1 server I am getting a 404 error when trying to access the RPC URL?
I had a look in the CAS RPC logs and see the following HTTP POST events:

This works fine in Exchange 2010 SP3 so I am wondering if maybe Microsoft have removed the /rpc url functionality in Exchange 2013 SP1?

You receive as you said HTTP 404 error, can you provide the specific HTTP 404 error message?
For example:
HTTP/1.0 404 File Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Object Not Found
HTTP/1.0 404 Page Cannot Be Found
The page cannot be found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable

I am sorry, but I am not able to replicate your issue. The page is working fine for me. Perhaps you could contact OU technical support. Are you also having trouble getting to page tihs page http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=3?
You can find OU technical support numbers on this page http://education.oracle.com/pls/web_prod-plq-dad/db_pages.getpage?page_id=123. There are also certification email addresses, but they will not be able to assist with technical problems with the website. The Oracle Certification Program Website is a part of the Oracle University website, so this is probably a bigger problem that you are having with the OU site.

there is a button for getting a file which triggers some unix script to get file from ftp server.
it runs this pls sql package begin dbms_scheduler.run_job('PROD_GET_SL_FILES'); end;
After it gets the file and loads them to the database using sql loader then it zipp and email the files, after this process the next thing is to display the page with the message "Success: SL Files Zipped and Emailed"
It does every thing but to dispaly that message , then after some time i get
page not found and the page is "htmldb/wwv_flow.accept "
Other thing i noticed is it sends me an email with zipped files twice, the first one has attachements of the files the second one without attachement
I run oracle apex on oracle 10.2.0.1.
It has been working fine untill last two weeks i am getting

Talent Acquisition Manager: Concurrent User signup Error Page not found

i found that if i register an account in job opening page, everything work normally.

I got the error message
When trying to save your page data, the system found that the information currently in the database did not match what was expected.
This problem can happen if another user has changed the same information while you were making your changes. Note the changes you have made, then cancel the page. Reload the page and view any changes made by the other user. Ensure your changes are compatible and retry, if appropriate.
If the problem persists, it may be a result of an application or other programming error and should be reported to technical support staff.
Possible application errors that can cause this message include:
- changing page data from SavePostChange PeopleCode, without making a corresponding change to the database.
- changing the database via SqlExec at various points, for data that is also in the component buffers.
- database auto-update fields maintained by triggers didn't get defined correctly in Record Field definition or in Record Properties definition.

Creative Cloud error: "Page Not Found"?

I cannot, after repeated attempts on different machines, access my files on the Creative Cloud. What's up with that?
I thought this was supposed to give me access to my files ANYWHERE? Here I am at work, miles from home, and I have no access to files I uploaded yesterday - all my older files are still there and accessible. The ones from yesterday - no luck.
Not a very "creative cloud", more like "dead cloud".
An online Adobe rep tried to help, but to no avail. After this "help" my account was disabled! -- I had to get a new password as my old one no longer worked.
Even after resetting my PW, no luck. The same "Page Not Found" error persists.

GP Action Task in UWL Error - Page not found or not available

Hi, SDN Fellow.
I have configured the Guide Procedure connector in UWL Administration to display GP task item in UWL.
I created a new process - says XYZ Form Approval Process. I tested the XYZ process in the GP Runtime, every activity screens come out fine. I am able to see all the Guide Procedure task items in the Task console.
But when I launching the activity item from UWL Task console, by clicking on the item line. It was trying to navigate to the page, but it thrown an error message like the following: "Page not found or not available".
Can anyone advise me where should I go to look at the problem?

I am facing issue while changing the UME to LDAP.....
With Java_ABAP_LDAP.xml the EP is running fine ..but when I am changing this config file to ...LDAP ..
i.e. dataSourceConfiguration_iplanet_deep_readonly_db.xml I am getting the error ....when I logged with administrator user
as page not found or not available.....
I checked oss notes 939412 and 1140519 but no help..............

While changing the xml to ldap, you need to change ldap server details also in the ldap server tab under ume configuration. And, also do the connection test using test connection button in the configuration screen.

404 error service not found for irj/portal ??

I am facing a problem in our productive system. It is a 2-node cluster 7.01 with hostnames v000011360 and v000012360.
We are using a web dispatcher for load balancing and redirecting.
When we try to access the portal through the web dispatcher's url, if the redirection is done to the first node (11360), portal logon screen appears and everything is ok. But if the redirection is to the 2nd Node, Service cannot be reached error occurs!
The user has to refresh the page several times, until the web dispatcher redirects to the 1st Node. A000010360 is the virtual ip of the cluster.
The complete error message is this:
Service cannot be reached
What has happened?
URL http://a000010360.central.nbg.gr/irj/portal call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
Note
The termination occurred in system MBP with error code 404 and for the reason Not found.
The selected virtual host was 0 .
What can I do?
Please select a valid URL.
If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

Yes there is a java server running in the second node!
Also, if the 2nd Node url is written directly, logon screen appears and everything works fine.
However, this should be done automatically through the web dispatcher (or the message server) load balancing.
The direct url for 1st Node is http://v000011360:53000/irj and for the 2nd Node http://v000012360:53000/irj.
Being though a cluster setup we use the virtual url http://a000010360:53000/irj, which should direct to one of the 2 nodes through the web dispatcher. If it directs to the 1st Node, everything is ok, but to the 2nd, 404 error not found occurs.
Also if server0 in 1st node fails for any reason, we cannot access the portal whatsoever! Shouldn't the dispatcher redirect to the 2nd node which is up and running? Isn't that the purpose of having a cluster system?

Can't connect Windows 8.1 Enperprise to Windows Server 2012 Essentials. Get a Digest Login page and then a Blank with HTTP 404 Error page. Need help!

I have make a new and clean install of Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials on my office network server and then i made a new and clean install of Windows 8.1 Enterprise version on one of my office desktops.
After all VPN and Anywhere Access where setup on the server i when to a PC that is inside my office network and browse on Internet Explorer to the URL to connect this PC to the server and make it part of the domain.
But when i browse to the http://MYSERVERNAME/connect im not getting the Windows Server page with the option to download the windows connector. Instead i get a login pop-up saying "iexplore" and "digest". I try to create a user on the server
and use that user login details on this login box, but even then, the only thing i get is a blank page saying a HTTP Error 404.
So can someone please help me on this? Any advice on how to solve this problem in order to show the normal Windows Server connect page?

On the Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials, please open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager. Navigate to Sites, then right click Default Web Site and select
Edit Bindings… In Site Bindings, select Port 80 and click “Edit…” button. Would you please provide a screenshot of the Edit Site Binding (Port 80) that you can see?
Then please click
Connect which in the list of Default Web Site. In the mid panel, select
.NET Authorization Rules and double click it. Then please check if all users were allowed.
By the way, would you please provide a screenshot of the login page when you browser
http://servername/connect? It may help me to understand this issue clearly.
Meanwhile, please logon a problematic client computer and navigate to the path: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows
Server\Logs folder. Then check if there is Computerconnector log file. If there is, please check it if can find some clues. (Please note: the log file is a hidden file. Please open Control Panel, select Folder Options, select View tab and check Show hidden
files, folders and drives. Then you will be able to find the log file.)

While using KM Document iView, if a KM Resource is not found, a 404 error message is displayed - The requested resource is not available.
Is there any way to customize this error message ?

Thanks for your reply. But the scenario here is quite different. I want to display a custom error message at the iView level, not at the Page level, as mentioned in the link.
For e.g: In KM Document iView, there is a parameter named Path to Document, where we give the path to the KM Resource. If the resource does not exist, a 404 error message is displayed : "404 - The requested resource is not available". I need to show a custom mesage instead of this standard 404 error, and this is at iView level, not at page level.
Any ideas??

Wpg_docload.download_file : 404 Error - File not found

I have a system where we have created a custom package to be able to pull down a image from the database using the generic wpg_docload.download_file procedure like so

   end;This code works perfectly in our development environment.
However, we have recently launched to a production environment, and this code is not working. We are able to upload images ok, as we can retreive them in Toad, but in the apex environment, they are displayed with the IE red-cross icon, or the broken image icon in Firefox. When I try to just display the picture directly (http://myserver:7777/pls/apex/SCHEMA.utils.display?id=123), it returns a 404 file not found error.
As far as we know, all environments have the same setup as each other, and all the privileges are the same on all environments.
Any assistance in this matter would be appreciated.

Apex version: 3.0

Kate - If you had to grant execute privilege on the "SCHEMA.UTILS" package to FLOWS_030000 in order for the URL to work (http://myserver:7777/pls/apex/SCHEMA.utils.display?id=123) then the DAD may be configured incorrectly. You should (almost) never grant additional privileges to FLOWS_030000.
You should grant execute on the package to the user named in the DAD, as John said, either APEX_PUBLIC_USER or HTMLDB_PUBLIC_USER.
