HTTP 404 flag on Prelude CS6 Support

I go to Adobe Prelude Help Support (F1) and receive an HTTP 404 flag. What's going on?

Uninstalling Illustrator CS6 and Prelude CS6 Mac Betas

I was on beta team of CS6 and before release this past week was experiencing an issue with Adobe Application Manager. A very unhelpful and uninformed Adobe Tech rep demanded that I uninstall all beta apps manually. I knew this was wrong but followed his advice. Now installing from the Creative Cloud and am getting error messages in Illustrator CS6 and Prelude CS6 installations that there are conflicting files. I cannot locate these conflicting files using Spotlight. All other apps installed without a problem. Since I removed all of these beta files, including uninstallers, manually (following the bad advice of about the worst tech rep I have ever experienced), I have no uninstallers to find these files. I recall that after the cs5 beta cycle, there were several clean-up scripts available to remove any residue of beta software. Does such a script exist or is there a different way to find and remove those conflicting files?

I apologize for the experience you had with our support representative. They were partly correct though with asking you to remove the beta version prior to installing the released version but you would have wanted to use the uninstallers. At the moment I would recommend running the cleaner tool. Missing Presets in Prelude CS6

We are trying to use Prelude to ingest some video and transcode to either MPEG2 or MXF OP1a. Those presets are showing up in Media Encoder as system presets, but they are not showing up at all in Prelude. Shouldn't Prelude be using the presets from Media Encoder? Is there a way to sync up Prelude so that it sees all of the available presets that are in Media Encoder?

I tried this on my Mac, in Prelude CS6 (1.0.2) I could see the two presets which contained in AME CS6 (6.0.2). But I would like to collect more information from you.
Could you see the two formats (MPEG2 and MXF OP1a) in Premiere Pro CS6? If you could see the two formats in Premiere Pro, you could have a try with re-install Prelude CS6. When you re-install Prelude, please follow the steps below:
Uninstall Prelude;
Run the cleanup script found here: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
Reinstall Prelude and launch it to see whether you could see the two formats or not.

Prelude CS6 Cloud won't open

Hi
I just bought CS6 Cloud and all programmes open up perfect expt Prelude.
Prelude opens up with the splash screen, I can see that loading reaches QuickTime.prm and then the program shuts down abruptly.
Do you have any idea how I can solve this prob?

Sorry for my late answer (had two days off before easter)..
It's very strange, I don't see any crash report in logbook, neither in
Programs nor in System (and I updated logbook after attempt to open
Prelude).
I can't launch Prelude from App manager, tried directly from exe file in
Explorer but same thing happens - Is there any other way to retrieve info
about this crash (looked through minidump, but nothing there).
I'm still on test version allthough reseller says I should have got
License number from Adobe - I chatted with Adobe support, and they asked
me to send in the order confirm i did that 2 days before easter but still
no reply...

Sorry for reply you late, I spent almost one day to set up a new XP
machine.
I tried on a Windows 32bits XP SP3, I can launch Prelude CS6 from "Adobe
Application Manager" successfully, can also launch Prelude CS6 from
Windows Start menu successfully, and I can launch Prelude CS6 with or
without QuickTime installed. I can see "loading ImporterQuickTime.prm" on
the splash screen but without crash.
Could you please send me the crash log file?

XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 404 Not Found

The scenario is ECC-XI-SOAP(Asynchronous). We are getting the below mentioned error in SOAP reciver channel:
Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP 404 Not Found
Channel Configuration:

Tried with

You can use the MessageTransformBean to correct the content type.

HTTP-404 No DAD configuration found or no default home page

Hi,
No EBS login page was available this morning but all services appeared to be online as usual. I restarted Apps Tier and could then see login page.
Now I have to find out what happened. There is nothing in the db log file, the listener log, the cc manager logs, the Jserv logs.
The only thing in the Apache log is this:
first error around 4.30am, then next later this morning:

Hi Dan,
The entries in the log files posted above do not help much in finding out the cause of the issue. Does this happen regularly? Can you find any dump files created when this happens? If this happens for few times only, is there any specific action that is done by the users (for example, running specific concurrent program, accessing certain module/form, ..etc) or by the system (like a backup)?
Did you try to find if any errors are logged in the Event Viewer? Since debugging was not enabled at the time this issue occurred, then it is not easy to tell why that happened. Maybe you could log a SR and upload all relevant log files and see if Oracle Support can help.

Prelude CS6 won't launch

I downloaded thru Creative Cloud Prelude CS6. The installation seems to have gone fine, but when I click on the Launch Application, Prelude will load until I get a screen error message of:
Adobe Prelude.exe - Application Error
The Instruction at "0x13f6304e" referenced memory at "0x7ff9d)6c" The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. Click on CANCEL to debug the program.
This is installed on a Windows XP machine. I downloaded this once and got the same error. I deleted the program thru Control Panel and ran CC Cleaner on the registry and downloaded again and received the same error message. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Its an issue with bad sectors on the hard drive, if you have a MAC, run the disk utility :

Very odd HTTP 404 Error

I am getting the HTTp 404 error on some pages in APEX 3.0.0.00.20.
These are the pages I get the error:
1. From Home(APEX) Tab when I click the "Application Builder".
2. From Home(APEX) Tab "Application Builder" Dropdown, select my application 101.
3. From My App 101 when I click on the "Application 101" button on the developer toolbar.
4. From the Application Builder Tab on any page in My App 101 when I click on a Named "List of Values" to edit it.

HTTP - 404 error while installing application

Hi,
We are trying to import an application from one workspace to another workspace on the same database but different schemas. The file gets imported but when we install it, the installation stops abruptly and we get HTTP - 404 Page cannot be displayed error.
Apex Version: 3.1.2.00.02
Database Version: 9.2.0.6.0
Please look into this.

I tried importing another application and was able to do it only with the exception that I was not able to create supporting database objects but it was due to some grants issue on the schema.

HTTP 404 error after changed tablespace and password of schema FLOWS_FILES

Hi I have a problem of having HTTP 404 not found error for file upload in my apex app by submiting a page. When it goes to http://xxx.xxx.xxx:8080/apex/wwv_flow.accept after unlocked , changed password and change tablespace for the account FLOWS_FILES.
Is there anyone can help ?

Yes, I have modified the bug tracker application to support file upload by using a file browser object and created a "file_upload" table under the workspace schema to keep the linkage with the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$. The application works fine before but after I realize that the FLOWS_FILES schema can be unlocked and the free space in default tablespace SYSAUX has almost been used up more than 99%, so I first unlock the account FLOWS_FILES, then changed the password and move the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ to tablespace FLOW_1 and changed the default tablespace and then rebuilt the index. I have moved the table back to SYSAUX tablespace now and have rebuilt the index also. However, upload a file and then press 'apply change' in the 'create issue log details' page, it gets the error HTTP 404 but if I do not attach any file. It goes without an error. The only thing I changed is on the database side of the FLOWS_FILES schema, so I think the problem resides on it but I don't know why even I moved the table WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ back to SYSAUX, rebuilt the index but still it doesn't work.
Is that good even explanation ?
btw, I am using IIS and how can I see the webserver error ?

HTTP 404 error occurs randomly when navigating to HTMLDB pages

Oracle support have asked me to raise this issue here (ref TAR 4248522.999).
Environment:
Windows 2003 server
Oracle DB version 10.1.0.2.0
Oracle HTMLDB v 1.6.0.00.87
Problem:
When navigating to an HTMLDB page using a list item, an HTTP 404 error occurs randomly. There is no error in the database alert log BUT the following error is reported in the Apache log file which is recorded whenever the HTTP 404 error occurs:

A list item is being used for navigation. It has been setup with a target type of 'Page in this Application' and a Page number of a page in the application. The checkbox 'reset pagination for this page' has been
checked. The problem occurs when launching the application directly in a new browser or

Does PPro CS6 support PNY K6000?

I found out that PPro CS6 supports the following combination: PNY Quadro 6000 w/ Tesla C2075.
What about the Quadro K6000? Can PPro at least leverage the same performance from the K6000 as it would have from the (non-K)6000 or is it not supported at all?
If the latter, as of when will the compatibility be rolled out to end users?
