When we used XI 3.0 we used the testtool in the link bellow to send http messages into PI and get the URL.

please check PI HTTP Client under: http://code.google.com/p/sap-pi-http-client/.
To my opinion a good choice for simple sending of messages to PI via http.
But of course there are more sophisticated tools with scripting environments included like SOAP UI.

I am using ucm10gr3 and want to implement sso with my web application running on wls, I don't have OAM, I need to implment sso with ucm by my code, reading the following statement in metalink:
REMOTE_USER is a computed Common Gateway Interface (CGI) variable that is used by the web server to indicate that the current acting request has been successfully authenticated as acting as the user identified by the value of this CGI variable. Getting the web server to set this variable for you is highly dependent on the particular APIs and data structures available in that web server. This may also require some customization and code be written within the web server, such as a custom web server plugin. This should not require additional code or components to be written on the UCM side.
In other words, This is not specially a content server configuration issue. If you can get any standard 3rd party web application (such as PHP -- for example a Wiki application) to get the SSO solution to work using standard webserver authentication techniques and doing nothing special in the application, then it should work without needing any additional UCM specific code.
All web servers have a built in understanding that the current request can act at the behest of a particular user. When web servers execute CGI applications, such as PHP, the standard CGI specification specifies that this user name be used to populate a parameter called REMOTE_USER. The mechanism by which this parameter is propagated to the script or plugin that is executing the request tends to be implementation specific. This parameter can be picked up by the CS web server plug-in.
Per my understanding, I need to use CGI to produce a variable named REMOTE_USER, and save username in it, but I am not a CGI guy, who can give me a demo for this?
Or is there any other solution to implement sso with ucm?

PI/XI: "HTTP client. Code 110 reason" for XML PO transmission

PI gurus,
We use XI to convert PO IDOC to XML message and send the XML message to our vendors.
We got the error message "HTTP client. Code 110 reason" for two POs while other POs went to the same vendor successfully.
We also have no problem for sending XML POs to other vendors.
Is this error caused from the sender or the receiver and how can I fix the problem?

XI - Call Adapter Error - HTTP client. Code 402 reason ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT

I am using HTTP adapter to post XML PO to vendor's site. We are having this problem with one of our vendor when PO's has more than 15 line items. XI server is getting error-"Call Adapter Error - HTTP client. Code 402 reason ICM_HTTP_TIMEOUT". Actually PO is posted good for the first time on vendor's site but XI is getting above error message and it keeps posting it again. Is there anyway to stop it otherthan manually stopping the XI message? Is there anyway to increase the wait time of the XI server to get the message.

I'm getting the same issue "500 TIMEOUT error" in runtime work bench-->IE--->Test Message. When i manually trigger the file.
The issue is basically from 01-01-2015 02:00 pm to 02-01-2015 01:am , File is picked from source ftp folder and places in archive but xml messages are not reflecting in SXMB_MONI.
Today suddenly after 01:00 am messages are successfully processing.

First, it's not possible. You cannot attach a primary site to an existing CAS.
Primary sites in 2012 are *not* the same as primary sites in 2007 and a CAS is 2012 is completely different from a central primary site in 2007.
CASes cannot manage clients. Also, primary sites are *not* used for delegation in 2012. As Torsten points out, multiple primary sites are used for scale-out (in terms of client count) only. Placing primary sites for different organizational units provides
no functional differences but does add complexity, latency, and additional failure points.
Thus, as the others have pointed out, your premise for doing this is completely incorrect. What are your actual business goals?
As for the IP Addressing, that depends upon your networking infrastructure. There is no way to configure ConfigMgr to use different interfaces for different types of traffic. You could potentially manipulate the routing tables in Windows but that's asking
for trouble IMO.

ok i've seen this in several threads and haven't found one with an anwser. the software required for communicating with ipod and mobile phones was not installed correctly. of course when you tell it to repair it does not. this has happened several times now and only cure i have found is uninstalling itunes and reinstalling. works for maybe a few weeks then does the same thing and i start all over again with uninstall and reinstall. i tunes version 10.4.1.10 64 bit running on windows 7 64 bit and trying to sync with Iphone 3gs - so anyone have a fix for this or am i stuck reinstalling itunes every few weeks???

Having trouble when I launch iTunes (version 11.0.2) on my Dell Laptop running Windows 7 Professional (service pack 1). I get an error message indicating software required to communicate with iPod and mobile phones was not installed correctly. Do you want iTunes to try to repair this for you? I normally respond with OK and it immediately tells me "could not be repaired. Please reinstall iTunes..." I have done this a number of times to no avail.

I also notice Quicktime is not getting installed at all.
That one is normal nowadays (ever since the iTunes versions 10.5.x).

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.

If you get any message about "Another User", an "iPod Service Error" alert appears, or “Please reinstall iTunes" appears, turn off the 'Fast User Switching' - even if no one else is using the computer (Win XP environment).

Kindly write some sample code for the below Logic.
For a set of Deliveries entered on the selection screen get the relevant data from LIKP & LIPS.
for all the deliveries selected get the sales order data from VBAK & VBAP based on the VGBEL & VGPOS in LIPS.
The Output internal table should contain only deliveries which are created with reference to a sales order.

 from likp as a join lips as b on Avbeln = bvbeln
 where a~vbeln in s_vbeln..
if not itab[] is initial.
 select avbeln bposnr b~matnr ... into table itab1 from vbak as a join vbap as b
 on avbeln = bvbeln
 for all entries in itab where avbeln = itab-vgbel and bposnr = itab-vgpos.
endif.
loop at itab.
read table itab1 with key vbeln = itab-vgbel posnr = itab-vgpos.
if sy-subrc <> 0.
 delete itab index sy-tabix.
 endif.
endloop.
Now ITAB will have only deliveries created against Sales orders.
