Hi Sudhir
Thanks for the reply. I have already gone through this thread.
I am not using any HTTP adapter. i am using IDOC adsapter only.
and this error occured on my production server. So we cant say like the thread you mentioned that this time it need any HTTPS connection configured coz it was working fine already.
Although this problem was solved by restarting the server. But its not advisable to refresh server on production frequently..also i want to know the complete description of this error ?
what this error stands for? what is the permannet solution of this?
Also if there is any supporting document or SAP Note to clarify this , will be highly appreciated/
any input experts?

  • Getting the error: Error while receiving by HTTP error code: 110

    Hi,
I have developed an interface which actually gets data from SCM system and in BPM to gets additional data from R/3. There are five synchronous call to this R/3 to get different sets of data. I am using only one communciation channle from BPM to R/3. The interface works perfectly OK in the development system. When the interface is migrated to the test system I found that the four calls work perfectly fine while the last call error out as below and the J2ee server goes down:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <!--  Call Adapter

Any input/help will be appreciated. I have tried increasing timeout/connection alive time but still not get resolved.

    Hi Prateek,
Thanks. But this note I have checked before and this seems not related. I actually found out the system logs in SM21 and saw the "Operating system call recv failed (error no. 10054)". What I did then is I seach notes related to this error and found a numebr of SAP notes. And I have informed the Basis guys to look into the notes and the system logs. They are working on this and they are deleting the old messages which have errored out. They are suspecting the system memory or too many old messages would have caused this issue.
If you have any knowledge of why this error would have occurred please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Sushma

  • INTERNAL.CLIENT_RECEIVE_FAILED error : code 110

    Hi all,
I have configured a synchronous proxy to RFC scenario.

I have noted that once I execute the report (in which I call the proxy) and get back the response, I have to wait for a long time before I execute the report again next time and get a response back. I am not able to run the report in quick succession without getting an error. Please help.

  • HTTP Receiver interface returns with error code 110

    Hi All,
We are posting the document from XI to a external server as HTTPS request.
We are able to sucessfully post the request to external server using HTTP destination as address type but not able to post sucessfully with URL as address type.
    Here goes the details -
We are able to post the HTTPS request successfully on the external server using the HTTP destination as address type in HTTP receiver adapter setup.
When we setup address type as HTTP destination , we need to provide the following details -
    IN SM59 , Connection type G
Target Host : host name (  with out "https://"  as prefix)
    Service No : 443
    Path prefix : query string
    SSL : Active
Certificate : Select the certifacte from the client certificate list.
We can post the request to external server using URL as address type in HTTP receiver adapter setup.
When we setup address type as URL , we need to provide the following details -
    Address type : URL Address
Target Host : host name (  with out "https://"  as prefix)
Service Number : 443 ( HTTPS port setup on XI)
    Path : query string.
When we post the same request as we did with HTTP destination as Address type , we are getting a HTTP response code as failure HTTP response code 110
Please find the details about the return code -
If a cache returns a stale response, either because of a max-stale directive on a request, or because the cache is configured to override the expiration time of a response, the cache MUST attach a Warning header to the stale response, using Warning 110 (Response is stale).
    110 Response is stale
MUST be included whenever the returned response is stale.

    Hi All,
Is some one can confirm that - We can use HTTPS with Address type as URL address in HTTP receiver adapter setup.
I can confirm that using HTTP destination as Address type in HTTP receiver adapter setup we can attain HTTPS communication with external server.
If some one who has tried HTTPS communication using HTTP receiver adapter using URL address as Address type can guide me what are the steps need to be done.
Address type is a parameter in HTTP adapter setup .

    Cheers

    hi Colin,
Check in SMICM if your HTTP service is running.  Also in RFC destination one of the parameter (SSL client Certificate) might be wrong which could also cause this problem.
    Also check this thread:-
XI Error when upgraded to SP14 (Error Code 110) CLIENT_RECEIVE_FAILED
Have a look into this SAP Note - 897583

  • Error in scenario "FILE to HTTP(with SSL)" - HTTP client code 110 reason.

    Hi friends,
    Our scenario is as follows:
We are trying to send XML file from our SAP-XI to external tool "COMMunix XC" (a multi-protocol EDI platform tool).
We have configured " FILE TO HTTP(with SSL)" scenario (trying to connect HTTPS/port)
    1. We have created RFC destination of type G and refered the same RFC in Communication channel (Adapter type: HTTP)
    2. We have send the SSL Server certificate to other party and ensure that they have imported at thier end.
    3. We have included the certificates from other party in our SAP XI STRUST under SSL Client (Standard) node.
    4. We have tried " CONNECTION TEST " in the RFC destination created in type G (in STEP 1) and it shows the GREEN TICK at bottom, no other message nor any error message
When we trigger the communication we recieve the error: HTTP client code 110 reason in SXMB_MONI.
Please let us know if we have missed out some step.
    What does error message indicate,
    Regards,
    Rehan

    Hi Rehan,
I see that the PROCTIMEOUT was already at a very high value.
Does this occur for messages of a particularly large size?  If yes, you could increase the parameter
       icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB = 2097152
This would need to be done in the sender/receiver system as well as XI.
Otherwise you could try reproducing the issue and checking the dev_icm log in the work directory, or go to SMICM -> Goto -> Display trace file
check for errors like NIECONN_REFUSED or "no service for protocol HTTPS" which can often be related to this type of issue.
    Kind regards,
    Sarah

    Dear Sriram Ramani,

but my problem is in Soap to RFC case..
for all RFC communication channels are working but some time it is throwing RFC_COMMUNICATION_ERROR and messages are stucks in smq2 with retry.
when i check with retry error with in sxmb_moni log showing ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED with error code 400.
not for all signals for few signals for some time..

Please suggest me good suggestion for this type of issue what can do for this to resolve.

  • HTTP Client : Code 110 reason

    hi,
when i try to send a IDOC to XI to HTTP Receiver.
The flag shows red in the SXMB_MONI and the error is HTTP Client : code 110 reason message.
I am using a HTTP adapter for a HTTPS url as a receiver.
If i test the xml from a WFETCH i get a response saying no cXML Sent but there is cXML that i am adding in the Header body.
I have not used HTTP Client.
    Any tips.
    Thanks,
    Tirumal

    Hi Tirumal,
you were going correct man ...
The 400 error that you are getting can be because of :
The verb used in the request is invalid.
    The requested URL is invalid.
The requested header name is invalid.
    The requested hostname is invalid.
The request contains an invalid carriage return and/or line feed as a terminator.
The request contains an invalid content length header or invalid entity chunk length.
The cumulative length of the headers in the request is longer than the maximum allowed.
The header field in the request is too long.
The request header is too long.
Check on these lines and see if your problem is solved.

Hi Istvan! Sorry for the delay in our response! we are in the process
of building a list of error codes for everyone! in the meantime the 110
    means the following:
    // Couldn't create a new network interface
    #define CC_STATUS_CCS_CANT_CREATE 110
Is this an NSM integration installation?
    Also, remove the alternate hostname.
If you don't mind, let's move this support issue to
    filereporter"@"novell.com!
    Thank you!

  • HT201372 used this to make a bootable copy for a new hard drive installation. copied the install find but gave error code 110 when making the disk bootable.. Any help in what this code is

Used createinstallmedis to make a copy of the Mavericks app for use in a new hard drive install.. Copied find but gave error code 110 and failed to make the flash drive bootable.. Any help in what errror code means?

Did you partition and format the flash drive first? See the following:
Make Your Own Mavericks, Mountain/Lion Installer
After downloading the installer you must first save the Install Mac OS X application. After the installer downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing.
       2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your flash drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the leftside list. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list.
Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to an hour depending upon the flash drive size.
Make your own Mavericks flash drive installer using the Mavericks tool:
Mavericks has its own built-in installer maker you use via the Terminal:
You will need a freshly partitioned and formatted USB flash drive with at least 8GBs. Leave the name of the flash drive at the system default, "Untitled." Do not change this name. Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy this command line after the prompt in the Terminal's window:
    sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction
Press RETURN. Enter your admin password when prompted. It will not be echoed to the screen so be careful to enter it correctly. Press RETURN, again.
Wait for the process to complete which will take quite some time.

  • HTTP Error Code 500 Internal Server Error creating connection

Hi, i have an error when i try to create a database connection
    i have windows 7
    php 5
    mysql 5
if i try to connect to mysql with a icode i gererate it connects perfect.
if i use for example ems mysql manager it connects perfect to the databases
but when i try to create a connection in dreamweaver it appears:
HTTP Error Code 500 Internal Server Error
i dont know what to do.
i have done a lot of steps for solve other errors:
    - chance mysql passwords for old_password
    - remove cache file
    any idea ??
    thanks.

I would look at your log files on your server to see what is the issue.
You most likely will have a php error log and a server error log.  That will point you in the right direction.

  • MySQL Connection - Select Database - HTTP Error Code 405 Method Not Allowed?

We've set up a MySQL database with our host and can connect to that, and create, edit, delete tables using HeidiSQL, without a problem.
However when we attempt to set up the connection in the Databases tab of our Applications panel in Dreamweaver we receive the following error:
HTTP Error Code 405 Method Not Allowed
We have entered the following in the MySQL Connection box:
    Name: <name of our connection>
Server: <IP address of our database>
    Username: <our database username>
    Password: <our database password>
    Database:
When we click the "Select" option next to the Database field, that's when we receive the above mentioned error.
We noticed that there was a fix posted by Adobe at:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/dreamweaver/ts/documents/err405.htm
...but that link is long since dead, however it does seem to indicate that Adobe are/were aware of this issue.
Can anyone help?  We're trying to move from Classic ASP / MSSQL to PHP / MySQL but have hit a barrier right from the off, which isn't very encouraging.  Hope someone can ease our concerns with PHP and MySQL.
    Much appreciated.

    Thank you SnakEyez02.
I had the Testing Server set to Local/Network but didn't have MySQL installed locally.  Changed that setting to FTP and it picked up on the database correctly.
When using MSSQL it doesn't matter whether you choose Local/Network or FTP it just picks up the online database regardless.  I guess this must just be a difference between it and MySQL.
Thanks for the advice.  Much appreciated.

  • HTTP Error Code 400 Bad Request error when connecting to SQL db

I realized I should move this to a new post since it was a new question...
I am trying to connect to a distributed SQL database from CS4.
Let me show you how the connection is built... and then maybe someone can tell me what I am doing wrong...
First I go to the database panel:
I click on the '+' sign to add an MS SQL Server Connection:
That brings up the SQL Server Connection window where I am supposed to replace the placeholders with my server values:
After I enter the correct values and click test, I get the error (HTTP Error Code 400 Bad Request)... These values work from SQL Server Management Studio on the same PC.
Just as a side note... I tried one other thing that makes me think SOMETHING is wrong here:
If I choose as OLE DB Connection instead... and click the 'Build...' button and then enter the values in the Data Link Properties Window (OLE DB Provider for SQL Server, and then the connection info on the Connection tab) and then click Test Connection on the Data Link Properties window, it says my test succeeded. Then I click 'ok' which takes me back to the OLE DB Connection windows with the connection string pre-filled, and click test on THAT window and I get the same HTTP Error Code 400 Bad Request error...
Hopefully that is enough detail that someone can can tell me what I have broken?
    Thanks,
    Mike
