  • Error while creating the HTTP client with destination GB_DPSRetrieve

    Hi,
    In the HTTP Receiver what is the Addressing Type used ? (URL Address or HTTP Destination).
    If its URL Addressing Type, check if right Authentication Type is used with valid values and for HTTP Addressing Type check this HTTP Client Create Error, it could be helpful.
    Also check if the Target system can be reached from the XI server to validate the configuration parameters.

  • After Mavericks OS upgrade, can no longer make any HTTP requests with the OPTIONS verb

    My machine can no longer make any HTTP requests with the OPTIONS verb. This happens whether I try it curl, postman, or ajax.
    curl -i -X OPTIONS http://www.google.com returns curl: (52) Empty reply from server
    It should return a long string containing a 405 error code.
    I suspect that this is related to the Mavericks upgrade I did earlier this week. I only have one mac (my dev machine) with Mavericks. Other macs are Mountain Lion and they don't have this problem.
    Can anyone else with Mavericks confirm whether or not they have this problem too?
    If this is Mavericks related, anyone know of a fix or workaround?

    Turns out that it wasn't Mavericks related at all. Cisco AnyConnect has a security module running behind the scenes even when you're not VPNed into anything. It was blocking my OPTIONS verb requests. I was able to make these calls after uninstalling.
    Re-installing with Web Security turned off should prevent it from happening. While I was uninstalling I did notice that there was a web security uninstall script in /opt/cisco/vpn/bin but I already committed to taking the whole app off my machine. Simply running that script could have done it too.
    I must give credit to Ben Nadel. It was his blog post that helped me fix this issue.

  • Error while creating the HTTP client with destination

    Hi ,
    I am getting this error while connecting to https location on receiver channel . The below error i am getting in SXMB_moni
    Error while creating the HTTP client with destination
    The receiver party is doing some security setting on there end and for that purpose we have provided the external IP address to them , after that we are getting the above error.
    We have already installed the client certificate on our staging server , and have done the correct setting in SM59 and channel.

    Check few things..
    1) I believe you use specify destination for the addressing type field in the comm channel. If so make sure you entered valid target URL address in the SM59 of type http destination.
    2) Check the validitity of the certificate. You can import the certificate both in java and abap stack.
    3) Make sure certificate is installed as expected.
    4) Send the request and talk to the target system and check what error information they get in their log related to ssl.

  • Help needed to start HTTP Protocol with timeout

    I am looking for information to point me in the right direction. I would like to create a class that would implement the HTTP protocol and would allow the user to specify a timeout if unable to connect to the server. I have used the URL and HttpURLConnection classes before, but have not used any of the other classes in the java.net package. I am just trying to create an app that will download a file from a specified URL. Something that I could use in the future and something to get more programming experience using the java.net package.
    Could you tell me:
    1) Which classes I would need to use to help implement a timeout
    2) Where I can find an example or other information on how to implement the HTTP protocol with the class from question 1 above.
    TIA for any information

    That would definately reduce the coding time but would
    do little to help with my understanding of classes in
    the java.net package or to gather a better
    understanding of the HTTP protocol. :-)
    That said, I am currently downloading the 1.5 beta to
    see what they have done.If it's just an academic thing to re-invent the wheel (code) that deals with the HTTP protocol, then go right ahead (ok, you don't need my permission).

  • File-XI-HTTP Scenario with multipart

    Hello everyone,
    Argentina has a legal requirement which is necessary to send a TXT file containing data related to outbound delivery (transaction VL03N) in a website created by the government.
    Nowadays the users are using a HTML page to send this file. This HTML page has 3 parameters ( user, pass, file path+name ) and is sending data through "POST" method using encoding type "multipart". Please take a look on the statement below contained in the page:
    <FORM action="http://cot.ec.gba.gov.ar/Transporte.do" enctype="multipart/form-data" method="post" name="form" onSubmit="">
    I am not expert in SAP XI, but I would like to convert all in an automatic process using XI:
    (SAP R/3) File -> XI -> HTTP.
    My question is: How could I configure a communication channel in order to send a TXT File to a HTTP service with all attributes mentioned right above (multipart, user + pass)? I think its necessary to use HTTP adapter but I am not sure.
    Best Regards
    Gabriel Santana

    Hello Gabriel Santana
    I have the same requerimient as you and i need some help. As you know the web service have 3 obligatoies parameters . User , password and File.
    I have no problems with the two first parameters passing them with the class
    cl_http_client method  ->request->set_form_field. and this values.
    However i cant pass the third parameter (File) using the same mode.
    i tried:
      CALL METHOD http_client->request->set_form_field
        EXPORTING
          name  = 'file'
          value =  'Path source of my file'.
    but i recive an error response from the web service .
    Hope you can help me with this issue because it turned to me to an Urgent matter.
    Thank you and will look forward for your answer.

  • Integrating Apache Http Server with Streaming Server

    Hi,
    How to integrate my Apache Http Server with a Darwin Streaming Server or any server?
    Any links are really appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Your question has nothing whatsoever to do with JSP, JSTL, or java. Locking.

  • Can't start Appache HTTP server with Weblogic Server 8.1.

    We are trying to use the Appache HTTP server with the Weblogic Server 8.1 on HPUX 11i platform.
    For this purpose we use Weblogic 8.1 plug-in for Apache 2.0.50 - mod_wl_20.so shared library.
    When trying to start the Apache server I got the following error:

    Do you know if we can achieve the source of the “mod_wl_20” plug-in and recompile it after that?

  • How to get standalone Oracle HTTP Server with mod_plsql?

    Hi,
    I do not know if it is just me but it seems to be a nightmare to get OHS with mod_plsql from the official OTN download site. I downoaded the companion CD for Windows - 3 disks, installed OHS - no mod_plsql. Then I tried to find any clue on OTN on how to download mod_plsql - none. Plenty of information on how to configure it and use it, but nothing on how to get it.
    PLSQL gateways is not an option for us because many of our clients do not allow direct communication between the database and the Internet.
    Windows 2003 Server R2
    Apex 3.2.1
    RDBMS 10.2.0.4
    Any help appreciated,

    PS.
    I would not like to download the software from unofficial sites but rather get it straight from Oracle.

    Hi,
    For those interested: I found Oracle HTTP Server with mod_plsql on OTN -> downloads -> middleware -> WebCenter suite.

    Hi All,
    We want to send an HTTP post with parameters,  and we are not sure how to do that.  We tried to do that like the code below,but we get the parameters in the body and not in the header ...
      DATA lo_client      TYPE REF TO  if_http_client.
      DATA lv_status_code TYPE i.
      DATA lv_reason      TYPE string.
      CALL METHOD cl_http_client=>create_by_destination

      lo_client->request->set_method( if_http_request=>co_request_method_post ).
      cl_http_utility=>set_request_uri( request = lo_client->request
                                        uri     = '?param1=value1' ).
      lo_client->send( ).
      lo_client->receive( ).
      lo_client->response->get_status( IMPORTING code   = lv_status_code
                                                 reason = lv_reason ).
    Thanks a lot,
    Tuvia.

    Hi,
    what do you mean by "parameters on the query". In any http request you can have two types of variables: POST or GET. The post variables are transferred in http header and you can add them using methods from my previous post. GET variables are transferred in URL. HTTP client has a method APPEND_FIELD_URL which can be used to add variable into URL string.
    Cheers

  • ACE HTTP Probe with regex

    ACE HTTP Probe with regex
    Hi,
    I'm trying to setup a HTTP probe with expected string rather then a code (config below). I do a GET for the page then a search for a string in the response however it's not working, as probe appears as failed.
    I've tested the connection to the server by using telneting and then looking at the page displayed to make sure the string I want to match is in the response.
    probe http HTTP-PROBE
    port 43050
    interval 30
    passdetect interval 30
    passdetect count 1
    request method get url /action=help
    open 43050
    expect regex action=help
    Q. Is there anything wrong with this configuration and what I'm trying to achive?
    Thanks,
    Pritesh

    Use "expect status" under probe config. expect regex doesnt work if expect status is not configured.
    expect regex work flawlessly with static pages. It doesnt work all the time with dynamic pages.
    Specially if "content-length" header is missing from Server response.
    Hope it helps

    I have been working on ABAP Client and Server proxies in my project. The weblogs by Ravikumar, Prateek Shah,  Siva Maranani & VijayaKumari were very helpful and thank them all for just helpful and guiding postings.
    Interfaces using Client proxies are working fine and have been tested successfully. But I'm facing bit problems with Server Proxies. The scenario is of File to SAP system via XI. Data is coming correct up to Technical routing in pipeline but at call adapter(for Server Proxy to SAP)in XI pipeline I receive Error:
    HTTP response contains status code 403 with the description Business Server Page (BSP) Error Error when sending by HTTP (error code: 403, error text: Business Server Page (BSP) Error)
    Previously I was receiving authentication and authorization related error of status code 401 and then in communication channel I replaced user profile with a user id having role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER. The basis peron has created new user id with role SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER  only and that I'm using. I've tried creating a HTTP destination with the created user id and in test connection too receive same error message.
    Please help me out with your inputs and understanding on the topic.
    Thanks and Best Regards
    Prashant Rajani

    Hi Prashant,
    Please take a look at these threads..They deal with the same problem, and they have been resolved here.

  • Creating an HTTP destination with OAuth2SAMLBearerAssertion authentication

    Hi All,
    I'm trying to create an HTTP destination with OAuth2SAMLBearerAssertion authentication.
    However, I'm at a loss as where to put the secret/private key. It should be part of the call to the token service so must be populated somewhere. But where? I'm guessing if I create a destination via a file, there is some parameter that I could set that should contain this key, but I'm not sure what it is - certainly there is nowhere on the HCP cockpit screen that I can use.
    Downloading an existing destination that works, it looks like there is an additional "Password" parameter, but when I populate that with the private key, my connection still doesn't work.
    Is there a special format that this private key must be entered into the destination file?
    Many thanks for you help!
    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi Timo,
    unfortunately not.
    There is also a need to pass the private key to the token generation - or to somehow get the public key that is used by HCP so that I can populate that into my remote system..
    eg for getting a SAML assert from SuccessFactors I can use (values abbreviated and altered)
    https://apisalesdemo8.successfactors.com/oauth/idp?client_id=NWI2YTMyOTdiNjA0ZmYy...kZjM2NTU2NQ&user_id=admin&token_url=…
    This generates a SAML assertion (nice of them) that I can use to get a token.
    https://apisalesdemo8.successfactors.com/oauth/token?company_id=HCPDISCC&assertion=PD94bWwgdmVy..==&client_id=NWI2YTMyOT…
    The receiving system (SuccessFactors) checks the SAML assert against the public key I have maintained against the client key on their side and grants the OAuth token which is used for subsequent authorisation.
    So somewhere I need to either - populate the system I am calling with a public key for the private key that is being used to sign the SAML assertion, or somehow pass the private key for the public key that is being used on the called system.
    I can't figure out how to do that, I'm guessing that perhaps it is more that there is a public key that I should be using on the receiving end, but not sure where I could find that.
    here's a screenshot of a working SuccessFactors connection...
    and no TrustStoreLocation so - I don't think it's using a truststore for the certificate...
    according to the doco - When the OAuth authorization server is called, it accepts the trust settings of the destination.
    Perhaps it is using the public key of the Local Service Provider in "Trust"? Certainly if this is the case it's not very obvious! (but I'm going to try!)
    Cheers,
    Chris

  • Why do you need to enable http communication with Basic authentication with Exchange Admin IP?

    The pre-reqs for the Exchange Admin IP say you have to make a few changes on your Exchange server (2010 on prem in my case). I have a few questions about those pre-reqs and I'm not able to find documentation online to help:
    Why does http communication with basic authentication for the powershell virtual directory in IIS need to be enabled? In the IP you still specify to connect over an SSL connection. The concern is what is being sent over unencrypted and what impacts are
    there to the security of the Exchange server.
    What role does the IP connect to (MBX/CAS/HT)? I'm not an Exchange guy so I don't know which roles install the PowerShell virtual directory.
    Are there any technet pages or white papers that talk about the MS developed IPs in any more detail than basic config?
    I appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks!

    Yeah I find this perplexing as well. I'm guessing it has something to do with Opalis origins perhaps.
    Would be good to understand why.

  • How would I do a http post with a xml file

    How would I do a http post with a xml file.
    I have a url called https://localhost:8443/wss/WSS and the XML file is sent as part of the HTTP POST body.
    How would I send this XML file when posting?

    most people just add feedback to the comments they've asked about already, rather than ignoring all the feedback and making a new post with the exact same information:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=5247331&messageID=10020973#10020973
    If you want to add in an XML file to a POST command, you'd add it just like any other file you'd attach to a post request, especially (if you're request is the same as your last post) if you're just doing a jsp page. I'd do it something like this:
    <form method=POST ENCTYPE="multipart/form-data" action="https://rcpdm.mnb.gd-ais.com/Windchill/servlet/IE/tasks/DJK/fcsAddContentComplete.xml">
    <H3> File Name </H3>
    <input type=file name=filename>
    <input type=submit value="Do it!">
    </form>Then again, this solution has literally nothing to do with java, and you still need to make sure that your servlet knows what to actually do with that information you're sending it.
